- So here is the long awaited Present Mic wig tutorial!!! I apologise for any dodgy editing :') This is my first time making a tutorial but I tried my best to make it as clear as possible! If anything isn't clear and you have further questions then I will try to answer any in the comments or through DMs on my Instagram (@thedappercannibal)!

This is so helpful! Im working through this now, and am up to cutting up the hair and glueing the ends. Wondering when your friend wore it, was it quite balanced on their head? or did you have to really pin down the wig base to your head lol
Quick question; for the wig you pinned the foam onto. You pinned all of the wig's hair up before you mounted the foam, do you just keep all of the hair under there or is that where you got all of your extra wefts from?
Yeah the pinned up hair was cut off! So all the wefts you can see pinned to the wig head around 3:18 in the video all came from the base wig 😄 So I used them as well as wefts from a second wig 👌

Did you use any wefts from inside of the foam or do you leave it in buns inside?
I tied up all the hair inside the foam and cut it off for wefts! All the hair bundles you can see pinned to the wig head around 3:25 are the trimmings from under the cone 😄
Do you know of any other ways that could possibly work to make the wig? I don't mean this in an offensive way, but I don't trust this method at all and I don't want to possibly extremely ruin a wig because of messing it up 😅
Edit: Also, where is the wig from?
This is the only method I've tried to get something with this height as the hair will need some form of structure under it to stand this tall :') So unfortunately I'm not the best person to ask for alternative methods. You can use hair spray alone to stand it up but not to the same height and you would need an awful lot of hairspray which can ruin the appearance of the hair. I think I only spend £15 max for both of the wigs I got as I just got fairly cheap second hand wigs from buy/sell groups on Facebook! You can use cheap wigs as long as they haven't got the shiny quality that cheap party shop wigs can have 👏

What size of Eva foam do you recommend for the start?
Hi! It's been a long time so I can't fully remember but I think I used a sheet that was 1m by 0.5m with a thickness of 5mm because that's all I had to hand. I would say you can probably go thinner to about 3mm and keep the same level of stability as well. I hope this helps!

I just got two cheap long blonde wigs from Amazon or wig buy/sell pages on Facebook :)
do you remember where you got your wig???
nat They were just some cheap wigs I bought from a wig buy and sell group on Facebook! So honestly any set of wigs will work as long as the two wigs/wefts match up colour wise 😄 These ones got super knotted though so it might be worth looking at coscraft or Arda as they do really good quality wigs!
