- Huge thanks to Impact Props! Seriously, If I hadn't clicked on one of their silly videos 4 years ago, I would not have had the belief and motivation that I could make my own Master Chief Suit.
Disclaimer: (Lol) The instructions in this video on how to build your own suit are kind of broad, (Specifically in step 1) This is because I went through that step roughly 4 years ago and don't quite remember exactly everything I had to go through regarding 405th and Pepakura Designer, other than what is said in the video. There is also a fee I forgot to mention in order to acquire the armor template. But I'm sure that if you talk with someone on the 405th website, they will totally help you out!
This dude has barely any subscribers but made a video like he makes TH-cam videos for a living.

Well done, you are never to old to want some Master Chief Armor, I remember back when the 1st game came out & I played it with my son, one year his school had a fancy dress & guess who he wanted to go as. Luckly the internet came to the rescue but even then it was tricky as there were no blue prints & I had to do it all from scratch just using screen shots, action figures & a lot of guess work. It's amazing what you can do with packing foam a hot glue gun & several tins of olive green spray paint, apparently it was a real hit as my son was bombarded with requests from other students as to where he got it, sadly only the helmet & gun remain.

Question 1: where did you get the helmet and how much Question 2: how exactly do you find blue prints for the suit so you don’t mess up the design
Cold Water the helmet is available on Amazon; “Disguise Men’s Master Chief Adult Full Helmet Costume Accessory” for around fifty bucks and the blue prints, you can find at the 405th website. You’ll need to install the pepakura designer app to view/print them. There’s also a fee for that as well. I did this five years ago, and you’d be better off asking the 405th community. That goes for anyone else with questions.. I hardly remember how I managed to do this lmao

You remind me a bit of idubbbz when you’re in the glasses. That’s not to say one thing or another about your video style, that of course is your own. The physical similarities (especially in glasses) were neat though.

I built the halo 4 armour back in 2018 and now in 2022 I started my build of my reach armour
I’ve been building since 2014 and I would say I can make it look realistic now
one thing i have seen is to spray glue the template to the foam save time with tracing
I’d feel unstoppable

Pretty cool bro. I wanna do this for an upcoming comic con. I’m pretty tall so I think if got some of those shoes that make you taller id actually be accurate to master chiefs real height.

Hi hi. Question: From the cut out file you got from 405 to pepakura, is the size all the same? Or is it possible to adjust the sizes of the pieces so that the armour is fit and build to body size?
The link for templates of 405th website contains JPG files. Does anyone know how do I turn them into PDO for Pepakura?
