There's nothing like someone actually recording the entire process of them buying a car on TH-cam for the average car buyer to see. This is golden. Keep it up.

25k markup🤯🤯 that’s insane only a fool would pay that. I just got one a month ago here in Houston, I went the used route with 2k miles on it for 47k still a little high but compared to all the others used ones in the 53-55k range it was the best deal in the country at the moment.

Try calling CardinaleWay Acura here in Vegas, I was able to buy my type S for MSRP here after a little negotiation

None of these greedy dealers are going to have any motivation to come off the “markup” until the next model year is sitting on the lots as well… the Type R is not the “only” car on the lot they have for sale… so they are still making money selling other cars and having a few Type R’s on the lot isn’t really hurting them until end of year inventory and new models show up on the the lots…
They always ask you about “financing” because they can get points on the backside of your loan when you finance “ in house” in order to screw I mean make more money…Let me clarify: they tell you you’re approved at say 6.9% but really it was 4.9%!!! Yes this is legal and just another way they screw customers!! If you must finance go independent of the Stealership!!

Why don’t you just WAIT ! They wanted mark up EVERYWHERE when I went to purchase a 2023 Integra Aspec back in June last year and I waited and got my Integra easily at MSRP on October 28th last year. People who pay markup are people who simply don’t have the patience to WAIT.

Awesome video good sir! This is my first video of yours and am now a subscriber!! I am a big Type R fan! In February I traded my 2019 FK8 that I had bought new in 2019 and purchased my new 2023 FL5! I was fortunate to get mine for msrp! So it can be done!! I got my FK8 from the same dealership at msrp too and when I traded it in 4 years later i made a few thousand dollars more than what I paid for it new! It was garage kept and it was prestine! I liked my FK8 but I love my FL5! In my opinion it is better in most categories it is so much more refined and it is hard to explain unless you have driven the two for a good length of time!! I enjoyed my FK8 but I would never go back after owning an FL5! The Fk8 is a really good car but the FL5 is great in my opinion!! They may be similar in acceleration but other thank that the FL5 in my experience and opinion is superior!! Highly recommend the FL5 good sir and can tell ya they are phenomenal cars as I am sure you know! I look forward to seeing more videos of yours to come and wish you luck on the hunt for an FL5 for msrp!

Hope you’re able to get that SGP FL5 for msrp, I’m in absolute love with the car. I’m in SD and have still yet to see another one let alone any FL5

There's an FL5 for sale at Ball Honda in National City. They've been harassing me to come check it out but I'm not in the position to buy one at the moment. I bet you could haggle them to sell it close to MSRP if it sits on the lot longer.

Thanks the integra type s for bringing down CTR prices.
This is really happening people are starting to post in social media that bought at msrp.
The Integra stole many buyers from the CTR because is easier to find an Integra-S for less. The CTR started to pile up in the dealers.

The Type-Rs are probably not on a floor plan they most likely wrote a check and they can sit on it and not pay interest on the car and wait for someone to pay over MSRP. If you get one at MSRP They will get you with accessories and still marked up on the accessories. You’ll pay $700 for nitrogen, $500 floor mats and $500 for wheel locks ect. So that’s still a mark up. Before Covid 2017 CTR were selling over $5K MSRP. I’ve seen used 2023 CTR sell at $54K that’s used. But I like that you’re trying and I hope you get one at MSRP. It’s the ppl who screwed everything up paying over MSRP. They know they can get away with it and will continue to do it. If we just didn’t budge “the ppl” then they be selling at MSRP.

Interesting that the parent company continues to allow markups at the expense of volume because they don’t see a cent of the markup so it also hurts the parent company.

They’re just waiting for someone who’s lazy to concede to the markup by making it just hard enough to negotiate it out.

If I were you moon, I'd wait a bit and negotiate a 2024. Your purchasing a 2023 model year that's going to have a depreciation in a month and a half or so.

dumbass comment truthfully, no one should be paying a markup on a civic, regardless of the trim. Paying a bullshit markup and then calling people broke is just sad.
