The reason all the gates were open at one of the first stations is because someone pressed the fire alarm button all these gates come with ;) most people get away with it and chances that they'll be open whereever you need to get out are also almost 50/50

In Brussels you just have to tap in :)
You Thought that u can take the tram 8 T3000 but this the T2000 that your taking sometimes the ride with that T2000 and T3000
