  • With an investment of $757m, The construction of the SkyShuttle was in charge of the Chinese car manufacturer BYD.
    The Line 1 in Pingshan district opened for the public On December 28, 2022.
    The first phase of SkyShuttle project is 8.5 km in length, with automatic driverless technology and a maximum operating speed of 80 km/h.
    The SkyShuttle is equipped with unmanned driving system, face recognition and other high-tech configurations.
    This type of transportation has the advantages over a more conventional metro system: low building cost and a short construction period, It also provides passengers with a more intelligent, comfortable, convenient and safe travel experience.

    You have so much more freedoms in China than the government of Australia leads us to believe.
    Here's a few rules to flying a personal drone in Australia. I apologize, I didn't realize there were so many, and I ended up not copying them all, because it just got stupid.
    You must always have your drone in visual line of sight, with your own eyes, not through the device. You can't fly over or above peoples heads, or in populous areas, beaches, parks, sport grounds, towns or city's and urban areas - more or less anywhere. Respect privacy and don't record or photograph anyone with your drone, unless you have their consent. So if you have anyone in your drone footage I imagine you'd have to run around to get their consent 😂 If your drone weighs more than 250gms (Yep, 250gms) you must fly it 5.5kms from helipads or airports. So no using it when you go and do vlogs in Hotels where there are helipads. You can only use it during the day and not in fog or cloud. You must keep your drone at least 30 metres away from people and can't fly higher than 400 feet (120 metres) above the ground. You can't fly your drone in national/state parks without obtaining a special permit because of native animals, and you can't fly it within 100 metres of marine life. Finally you can only operate one drone at a time. There are way more laws, but you get the idea - You more or less can't fly one anywhere 😂 The fine can be $1,375 for each offence. Wow, if you get summoned to court it could be $13,750 😧
    So, Australia's more or less off the list to bring your drone if you come here on holiday.

    • @CaptainKremmen
      @CaptainKremmen ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Most of those limits are the same in China, including keeping 30m away from people and max altitude 120m. Plus, China requires drones to be insured and drones over 250g to be registered and to record their flight path.

    • @dingdean4919
      @dingdean4919 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@CaptainKremmennot really…. Those rules pretty much prohibit you from using drone in all populous area, I.e. cities, towns pretty much anywhere. The only exception is probably when you go to a land in the middle of nowhere

    • @MetaView7
      @MetaView7 ปีที่แล้ว

      next set of rules - *RemoteID* is coming. The drones will be broadcasting your drone's ID as it flies, so that the authority can keep tabs on you, and disable your drone remotely if needed.

    • @CaptainKremmen
      @CaptainKremmen ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dingdean4919 Exactly. With China's population density, it's hard to imagine finding anywhere in a city or town with nobody within 30m, so it would be pretty much impossible to fly a drone legally in most of China.

    Does this connect with the Shenzhen Metro? Is it considered part of the system? (like on maps etc.)
    I know that Wuhu opened two monorail lines last year but I didn't know that Shenzhen has one. $750m is not bad at all. I know that Shanghai metro lines (around 25km) can cost from $4b to $7b.

      It’s not part of Shenzhen Metro, it operates independently. However it integrates some features, like the app to have access is the same (via QR code). The beginning of the line is right next to a metro station and a high speed railway station. So commuting feels quite seamless

    GDP per capita in China is around 12,500.00 per year and in the US it’s more than 70,000.00 per year. In the US pretty much everyone can own a car, even a high school student. In China that is often not the case, so they need to emphasize public transportation.

      Your comment is about excuse for coping . In China they can but they don't want to , they want to minimize the pollution level . In west they are whining about green energy and conservation of environment but it's China who does the work . They are taking action . Plus in USA people want public transport badly but unfortunately their corporate controlled government is busy with wars on foreign countries . If it was about who can afford then why Japan and South Korea has better public transport than USA ? Even some European and few Arab countries have better public transport system than USA . These are the countries where majority of people can afford cars but still they have good public transport system .

      在中国很多地方,地铁比开私人车更快,因为路上的车,实在太多了,我的车在游玩时候才会开出来,你无法想象堵车,而且公共系统能把你送到大部分地方,

      Lol. China is the world's biggest car market with 26,27 millions vehicles sold in 2021. Compare that with no. 2 the USA with 15,4 millions car sold.
