When i was making a transfer in Shenzhen a couple of years ago, after the planes took off, I could see the other similar bridge from the sky ( I think that one is from shenzhen to hongkong). The bridge looked like a dragon from the air . It was a truly amazing experience! 🎉🎉🎉 it’s any civil engineer’s dream to really see and experience these remarkable projects !!!
It should be the Hk>Zhuhai >Macau bridge. A lot of twist like a dragon.

What annoys me is America is supposed to have so much money and yet everything old is just falling apart. The NYC subways are in bad shape due to lack of money. I'm begging for some painted bike lanes in South Queens where I live. Yet, in China they can afford a nearly $7B bridge/tunnel and I keep hearing China is in financial debt and people are jobless. None of this makes any sense to me. I don't know who to believe. The toll on this bridge/tunnel has got to be outrageously expensive, so who will be able to afford to use it. It looks like an awesome project but how much use will it get if the toll is too expensive.
I wish there was a bridge in NYC that went from New Jersey to Long Island, bypassing Manhattan. That would be sweet. That would be a $25 toll, for sure. It will never happen. America the Great is no longer great. Those days are long gone.

I living in ZhongShan China where is my hometown, when i open window can see this brigde crossing the estuary . And another 2 Bridges. and 2 HSR(ShenZhen To Jiangmen HSR ), 1 metro (Line 18 from Guangzhou to Zhongshan) is building in this area now.

The whole of Shenzhen is a wonder. It was a fishing village 35 years ago. Now its a metropolis of 15 million people and a crime rate of almost 0. I lived there, its hot so expect heat and humidity but its an amazing City, superb design in every aspect. The reality is, thats China for you, every City in China is a wonder now really, the whole country is stunning.

That traveling camera is insane. China is living 300 years in the future.
Every tour bus have cameras to monitor the drivers & passengers. The police can monitor everyone inside to ensure no rowdy behaviour during travelling. The live feed are important to determine who is at fault during an accident. Without the cams, police will have to figure out if the driver is sleepy/drowsy or the external party is at fault.

We spent $6bil AUD on a useless tram line which failed after 6months even though no one was using it as it's in a useless location. Then spent another $3Bil AUD to rectify the problem. It is till this day a useless tram that took 6 years to complete and put countless of businesses to close down due to disruptions in Sydney. This project is a masterpiece of Enginering and will bring financial dividends in no time.

This section is testing tomorrow, the other section which was already operational goes to Macau. Its quite freaky if you go on the Shenzhen- Macau ferry, to see this bridge in the ocean is stunning it literally just goes on forever and vanishes into the distance again. the US Military Budget for 2024 is $825 BILLION usd, well, the publicized amount anyway. China's 2024 Military Budget was RAISED to $222 BILLION usd. the 2nd Highest Budget after the US.
China can equal USA's military budget if it wants to but instead it is spending the $600 BILLION usd difference for Public Works and Infrastructure instead. and that includes building paved roads and high speed rail in even it's remotes rural areas.
Whatever major faults China has, which it does, this ONE THING is not one of them.
