In this episode we look at the mistakes and how to correct the mistakes in game, clearly to review yourself so you won't do it anymore.
We will look at sound strategy, sticking to your strengths in a Corsair F4u 1a, knowing where the enemy is roughly
We will look at hammerheads, energy traps , proper boom and zoom BNZ mechanics, how to use the zoom in this plane to a greater advantage, how to read the enemies energy state playing air realistic battles (air rb) this is a full package when it comes to air combat maneuvers

combat flaps open below : 400 kmph
2nd gear : 250 meters
3rd gear : 4800 meters

*****if WEP is on (some don't use WEP to climb when there is a limited supply).
you get to like 4000 meters in like 3 mins plus you only have 8 mins 33 seconds worth of wep anyways.
Exactly so keep it for the fight and sideclimb for an extra minute.
I thought about it, its 2.7 BR...fights don't last long, so i say go ham :P
So these specifications are using WEP?
as long as you can win the 1v7 that happens almost all the time you should be good as allied fighter plane
I spaded this plane in six battles. 10 kills; one death. Safe to say the P-40 is no longer my favorite 2.7 plane.
P40 is still pretty good

jerckï72 Corsair is much faster, turns better, and has better guns. Only thing the Ki-44 has over it is climb, really...
So basically
Climb
Find a prey, boom and zoom him
If an enemy is on your tail outrun him
Doing hard manouvers makes you bleed a lot of energy

I am trying to control my air attacks like you are doing... most of the time I am out of control... and miss my mark and get pasted, your craft control is amazing... keep up the good work amigo! I need a vid on the basics of controlled turns, rudder, flaps, camera looks and how to do these nice tight roll over turns - can you suggest one of your vids for that information...? The way you watch yourself do these turns from the nose is amazing... I am very analytical as you are and need to tighten up my attack approaches!!! Dusk_Fang here... thanks again!
I learn so much from this video.I just want to say thank you.Before watching your play all I do when flying the F4U-1A is booming and zooming.You remind me the principle is the speed,instead of altitude which I concentrate the most.Really appreciate that.
Hey I love your videos. I have been using them to improve my Corsair skills. I was wondering if you knew what the best way to climb is with the Corsair given the War Thunder physics. Is it better to climb with Immelans and by using high speed and energy retention to enter the verticle all the way up and using flaps to level. Or is it better to do a 15-30 degree climb around 260 mph? I think on a good day i can get better results from doing manevers. I find my biggest obstacle to dominating as a US team is over coming the "scrabble effect" when trying to gain altitude in the first 10 min. The bf-109's have such an advantage, to enter combat only a few miles away at the SAME starting altitude is not how it should go down! In real life the Corsair would be already up at 25,000 ft. before getting within the operation zone. ...So climbing and getting to a proper engagement altitude in War thunder has me struggling. Most of the time the team is dead by the time i got to 12,000 ft... so thats why i started using verticle manevers in a full send in hopes i could gain more altitude. Any insight? ....
don't see any prop pitch advices, trying to figure out, how it work can you help or make a video on this subject... please ?
Bf109's just seem to do everything better even though I make them maneuver and go after me. I just don't know what to do because even if I spiral climb either my entire team is dead by the time I'm at altitude or there is just still a 109 above me. Could you do an American plane vs. German plane tutorial?
No f4u at 2.7 is way better than 109
I notice you using tracers with your 6x.50 calibers. I'm guessing the range of those wing mounted 50s and being not converging until way out there making it necessary?
Sometimes cutting g the throttle whole diving causes propeller bending around engine. In BTD 1 it happened a few times so I only reduce throttle to 30 or 40 percent

By the time Germans are out of fuel usually matches end (with them winning 70% of the time). So don't really agree with the advice to bring them towards ur base.
why not? you can use the flak to keep them at bay. Try and bait them into the flak fire or just stay within protective range.
@@dingFAching Using the flak is a douchebag thing to do. Nobody likes people who base camp.
