Welcome to the Restring party! I've been experimenting with a ton of great toroline setups, but still nothing gives me the same combo of power/spin/control/feel as my go-to setup of Zero mains + sync crosses at 52 lbs. Still plays great literally a month after stringing.
You switched to extreme pro 😮. I got my pair a month back. but its ..... more muted than I expected, I am switching from previous extreme tour and I miss the feel so much, I am still struggling with getting used to this racket
Great string! I agree with your comments. I would switch too but feel for me was just not there. Trying Tru Pro Pure Rush now would like your opinion on that one.
That sounds promising, currently I have a hybrid of Restring Zero/HyperG round in my Extreme Pro. While the control and spin is great I would like a little more comfort so will definitely look into this setup 👍🏼
@@msalvs To be fair, his tension would be the same as before which i think is like 50/48 and the strings are toroline caviar and toroline super toro. He probably isn't saying anything about the racket cause he's going to put out a video about a racket switch soon.
Without sounding accusatory, if you've got a big SNHU match tomorrow, are you going with Zero or your Toro Toro? So many Tennis TH-camrs are caught between these 2 companies (and their discount codes) its hard to believe them.
I think both companies have great offers that people should try. Switch to them? That would be up to them. But I feel they both have a great selection that people should try. If I had to play a match today I would stick with Toroline today (cav & ST). However, if I ran out of Toroline, I would use this or if I demo it for longer I just might be able to use both if I needed to.
Personally I think so because it has a decent amount of power for a poly but if you can’t put a good amount of topspin on your shots then you’re gonna have issues with control
No. Truth is a 3.5 could play with syngut and it wouldn’t make the tiniest difference. Spend your $$$ on things that can really help you improve (footwork, technique, playing patterns, etc.)
@@msalvs Give a 3.5 a spinracket (Vcore100, Aero100, Extreme MP) with a string that assists with spin (ReString Zero, Head Lynx Tour, PTFire, PTPro, HyperG) and if they can manage to add small topspin to their shots their racket+string setup will help them out giving extra topspin. Now give the same 3.5 player a 18x20 Blade with multifilament string like Head Velocity MLT, if they add the same small topspin that setup will give them 0 help regarding topspin. You are correct about the string/racket setup won't magically fix any problems, but it sure does help. So if they have that extra money to invest in a decent racket and string, why shouldn't they? And then when they do improve the footwork and technique their game will evolve faster.
I'm not good and I use it. It's weird in that it works well at lower swing speeds because it's naturally got some power to it, but swing fast and that snapback really benefits your ability to control the ball (more so in keeping the ball in due to spin). Swing speeds somewhere in between kind of suffer imo. It's easily the most beginner friendly poly I've found. The durability is really what keeps me on it. Whatever you do, DO NOT hybrid it with sync. The loss of power is super noticable for someone my level. Maybe more advanced players would like it

I tried restrings hybrid, zero mains sync crosses and it feels pretty good. Also racket string journey video coming soon?
Head Prime Tour overgrip comes in a blue quite similar to restring zero..that would look pretty cool I reckon👌👌
Would be a good video suggestion if you could compare restring zero/sync and restring zero/wasabi x.

What is even crazier about Zero is the hybrid combinations you can have with it. Having Zero on the mains bring a lot of possibilities.
How would you compare restring zero with toroline wasabi, super toro, toro toro and o-toro?
Why did you try/show the Snapback off the cross strings? The main strings are much more important. That is where the spin come from.
If it's the same string in the mains and crosses, then it's pretty fair to assume the snapback on the mains will be identical.
@@christiannovak-zemplinski9749 never, ever! Try it yourself! That's a massive difference between the mains and the crosses!
@@christiannovak-zemplinski9749no it’s not.

Put Sync or Wasabi X on the cross and it will solve that problem with the feel.
If you cross it with toroline wasabi x it’s godly. It has more SnapBack and better feel

Will try that. I’m going to try this with poly tour rev and 4g soft. Wish there was more information out there regarding Luxilon 4g soft
you show snap back on crosses but you should be showing snapback on mains instead :) crosses usually do not lose snapback as much
What racket are you using right now? Strings and Tension?
@@tombradyandme current set up is cav and ST.
@@MPTennishe asked you about racquet and tension and you answer with some mambo jambo which no one knows the meaning of

I think this is not a string to be tied as a full bed. Instead of that you should try ZERO/SYNC or some other round co-poly as cross.
Now put Restring SYNC 18g in the crosses +3lbs with ZERO in the mains and thank me later.

Lol dude switch back to extreme
So, the real question here is... do you think it's a good string for someone who is barely a 3.5 player? 😅
