Uh.... The video is titled "Can America Build a Proper Hypercar?" No... This car was built in England by a british race car company. But it was never built to be road legal. Notice how it has no number plates. It also has no crash testing, emissions approval, insurance rating, and it has ZERO airbags. Also no legal VIN / Chassis numbers. And that engine is just a tuned Corvette engine. It only has 1800-something HP when they unlock a special "mode" and use bio-ethanol-alcohol fuel, and only for a couple of drags. It cannot RUN on 1800 HP. Its just a Corvette engine after all. On normal fuel it runs at 1100 HP. But they dont like to say that, do they.

It’s rapid in straight lines, it’s aero and tyres couldn’t handle the power around corners, it’s 1800hp on 1400kg, it’s going to be rapid. Given the previous record was a P1, there are a bunch of cars quicker than that today. It’s a super fast car but doesn’t mean it’s great around corners.

@user-180-mand90 it was not designed fully in the uk, they partnered with a company out of Silverstone England, but hennessey designed it. The car is still made in Texas though
