- This is the road to 100mph CHALLENGE, using the 3s on road ARRMA INFRACTION 3s with some modifications and running 4s power we're trying to see who can push theirs to 100mph 1st using SPEKTRUM smart electronics….
I'm really getting it dialed in an able to see all my speeds thanks to POWER HOBBY for sending me a new GNSS performance analyzer… it's working great

I ended up using a single 4s cnhl 8000mah 120c

Damn those back to back passes gotta be hell on your esc after cutouts.
Well I generally give it a break an reset the esc when it cuts out only does it cause such tall gearing an hammering the trigger

I think it’s just pulling to many amps when I get in the throttle to fast if I take my time well it does good

@@BarstoneRC I need to go back out with a full battery I think that would definitely help I wasted a bunch but I got a ton of different pinions that should’ve been here yesterday so more testing to come

I had a 6s sold it cause I didn't have room for cars I didn't regularly run and I'm more a basher... and I had issues finding a big enough empty parking lot that would be cool to do some street bashing since then I've recently move and the new studio is huge (yay) and it been a year and I've secured some pretty sweet spot just haven't found a new one yet

No no that's a 6s spektrum 150amp esc with the 3s stock 3900kv motor running 2 4s packs in parallel... but I ended up going with. Single 4s cnhl to finish the competition and get 100mph

it has a spektrum 150amp esc an stock 3900kv motor with a slipper eliminator an 40/25 gearing also 4s v2 metal gear diffs an some body modifications from ajc mods
On all stock spektrum equipment i got 93mph twice. Running 44t spur and 30t pinion anything bigger it went slower, cuts off constantly, it needs the new castle esc that just came out to get more
I finally got my 100mph goal but yes you had to be slow on the trigger or it cut I had a 40/26 geared spur and pinion on a spool with spektrum 150amp esc and stock motor straight speedster I also tried a lot of lipo a powerhobby 6200mah 100c then I ran a pair of rclipo 4s 6000mah 120c but what got me there was a cnhl 8000mah 120c...

I’m trying to get mine to 100 too just have Traxxas 4s system what ratio spur and pinion are you using I’ve only got 75 mph so far
40/26 on a spool I also have the 4s metal diffs an I’m using the stock 3900kv motor with a spektrum 150amp 6s esc…. I didn’t end up getting 100mph b4 the challenge was done 96mph was my best but I truly believe it had it my last time out weather was super windy an hot like 97 an a month of the challenge I was fighting getting the steering right my receiver was messed up an the avc was kicking on an off all kinds of crazy things
@@RC4usjust caught your videos, im very similar to your set up and problems, beat the spektrum system to death but only got 91mph and cut outs constantly. Im running same infraction body, 130amp esc, 4s spektrum batteries. 44t spur and 28 and 32t pinions both hit 91 on gnss. Keeping it straight it brutal also have under carriage aero like yours. Just ordered tp motor and mamba x, hopefully new esc will stop the cut outs. New gearing will be mod1 31t spur and 27t mod 1 pinion. New bearing kit and hot racing bell crank to tight up stearing. Still running same hoons sliver dboots 2.4, once i get past 100mph im breaking out the new in box 1/7 infraction to make me go broke. Will post videos after new set up and a new go around.

@@RC4us I have the sr6200 AVC receiver by Spectrum, is there a better one? some of my problems I heard could be the receiver, esc or motor causing cut outs, im going to use the mamba x with stock motor to see if the cut outs still happen I guess, getting sick of not breaking 91mph and always just doing wear and tear on the truck with no progress. been through 4 bodies now and replacing everything to keep the truck steady and in control, I had some handling issues to slowing down for awhile where the second I let off throttle would completely lose control and crash, that was a suspension and down force issue that I fixed.
@@patriotcontainers4349 I was actually having calibration issues I eventually figured it out…. Idk if spektrum makes a better one but for sure going to a non gyro receiver like a sr315 an add a separate gyro would be better I would think…. An if u didn’t know don’t turn it all the way up on control that can cause to much input an mess you up as well
