What is the first sweet treat that comes to your mind when you think of Turkey? For us it was the world famous: Turkish Delight!
Known locally as lokum, Turkish Delight is actually 100% vegan if made according to it's traditional recipe! We couldn't think of a better place to pick some up than in Istanbul and more specifically, the largest covered market in the world: The Grand Bazaar! There are dozens of shops that sell lokum along with a huge range of other goods which are a feast for your eyes as you stroll through the huge complex. Join us on our quest as we hunted down some naturally vegan Turkish Delight!
