  • Well that wasn't easy!, we ring our fledgling finches so we know roughly how old they are so we can easily identify them when it comes time to catch them to be sold..... it only helps a little bit to catch them!😃 .
also 10 baby budgies in the boxes but two with splayed legs?, let me know if there is anything that can be done.
    much love.
Thank you for watching and thanks for checking out my channel!... it means a lot and I really appreciate it 👊🏻

Hi Ben, I’ve never experienced budgies with splayed legs but I have corrected it many times with chickens that I’ve hatched. Usually if you tape or band the legs close together they’ll slowly go back to normal.
With chickens I do this as soon as they hatch before everything forms and sets properly so I’m not sure if it’ll work for your birds as they’re obviously a few weeks old.
Love the videos, something to cheer us up after watching England lose in the euros 😢

@@TheNoviceAngler from what everyone has said, it is probably already too late to do anything to correct the legs but I may as well try… thanks for the watching (and let’s not mention football)..😩

Hi Ben I breed budgies and I split ring the adults. I just think it would make it a bit easier as you won't have to ring new birds up every time you have more chicks.
