My budgie girl just laid 1 egg on December 13 and the other one today 15 and she is sitting all night until the morning she comes out i don't know if they are going to hatch because is winter time here in new York 😢 ill see how many more she can give is the first time throwing eggs 😂

Great video Ben I'm bird lover too I have a small aviary at my house, planning on building a bigger one ,how big is yours

My indoor birdroom and outdoor Aviary room is temperature controlled on a thermostat for 18 degrees c from November to beginning of April. Oh im in South Devon.

Maybe like a wire cone or something around the bulb would stop them being able to touch it , is it worth putting some 25mm insulation in there ?

I found the birds like to roost quite high up, they might not like the high ‘ floor’ in the roost area.

Ben I watched your where have the black birds gone video today, and in our area I have noticed that on a sunny day there are so many planes going up and down causing stripes in the air, and upon researching this further my husband and I have found that we are indeed suffering from chemtrails which have been admitted to of late. These chemicals affect wildlife, so I am not surprised. Also we are breathing this stuff in as are our kids, but it seems that money talks louder than peoples thoughts.

3 males buy the look of it 1 maybe a female but I say 2 definitely males 1 looks like its smaller so maybe a female wait till next breeding season build a wooden cage put nest pans in there with bengalese and see whitch ones starts pairing up I had different birds for 20+years

Separate your bengalese and watch for the males bounce and sing... IF they don't, they're probably females.

U should get lovebirds oplaine lovebirds very big money in them from 80 to 500 a bird

i would think they are all males, because in my experience females will lay eggs when in good condition even if there are no males present.

Bengalese males sing females don't if that helps

Hi ben I'm on building a 8ft by 5ft aviary in my shed how many budgies should I start with and could I put a couple of mule finches in with them

I do needle and thread test and blow vent feathers in spring to sex them,,,,

My dad used to leave his boxes up but had a flap above the entrance hole that could be dropped to stop birds using it.

Don't have a clue about finches, if no eggs in two years maybe all males,

I think I maybe right in that there is no visual difference and they have to be sexed by looking at their bits!!

I don't think you can tell by looking at them apart from the males sing. You could get them dna sexed online at avigenics.

sorry ben you can not sex bengalese only way is if one lays a egg you can look it up but i kept them and its pot luck

The males Sing and display dance and the females only chirp if that helps 👍👍

The more fawny one looks like a male to me, and the other whites seen like hens 🤷‍♂️
