I learn many things here but i have no birds but i try to influence the people that care for the community budgie cage in the hall and i give sprouts, cucumber and apple plus cuttlefish bone and one spray millet a week for 3 birds to share.
Your budgies are sooo happy🤗. It's such a delight watching Your video. You've covered everything there is to know so elegantly & simply👍✨. Saved a lot of winged lives, thank You❤️. Shalom!🕊️
@dennythebudgie thank You, even though I'm the one thanking You right now. As We speak, I'm assembling the new nest box for our freshly baked couple of budgies. Your online school helped a lot👍✨. I'll give my best to "shush" the noisy cockatiel flying around our kitchen, merrily singing "When You're happy & You know it.." - so He doesn't upset the Mommy budgie during Her efforts of creating a new family🤗. If I get stuck, I'll ask for advice - so very glad I bumped into Your video. Keep up the good work & cheers to Your feathery folks🥂🍾
Hi, I used to watch this channel a lot when I got 2 birds in 2020, sadly had to give them away but I got donated a bird cage, will have to search for good toys, I owned a blue female budge and a yellow male fancy budgie and I also like cockatiels and wanted to ask if I should or would I be able to keep them both in a cage? Thanks!
Can I ask you something? I have a young adult pair of budgies that are loving and take care of each other, they mate and are visiting the nest most of the time both. But they don't make eggs. The same thing happened with the previous female that I lost half a year ago and the same male. I had budgies making babies 20 years ago without a problem. What am I doing wrong?
tysm im a new budgie breeder with a pair of budgies this will be helpful bc i did not know i should remove the two from my flock who are ready to have eggs ty for the info ill be a proud bird breeder soon:D
i have 4 budgies right now, we thought they were all male because that’s what they told us. but i just went to the vet today because one of them had a buldge in their chest which looked like it could be a egg, we found out it’s a female. but im not sure how old she is, i’ve had her for about a month now and im not sure if she’s too young to be breeding. my other budgies are definitely male because their nose is more blue and purple. should i put a nesting box in their cage for her ?
i am also not sure which of the other two budgies could be the partner because since i’m away for college most of the week my mom takes care of them but i know when they mate it’s quick. could you help me figure this out please !
I need your help, currently I have two cockatiels (1female 1male ) but i didn't bought them at the same time first i purchased male and when it started plucking its feather so i bring him a female to make them a bond even male liked it but the female didn't . Instead it started plucking its feather . she had plucked her flighting feathers from one wing (now male cockatiel isn't plucking his feather any more)
Hello I and a question , I have two budgies female and male . The female one has trusted me even it's climbing on my back but the male one it's still scare of even if I try to talk to it calmy even am placing my finger slowly to it's feeet near only but it is scared. I was asking if you can give me a few steps for gaining trust I don't have treats but I have it's food seeds. And how can you put a budgie back to it's cage when you have not gotten it's trust and you wanted to return it without hunting it. Then how can you know if it's sick or hen it's calling you or wanted to lay an egg please please tell me. Am a begginer❤
I may be wrong but i heard that if yo wanted to take it inside the cage you could turn off the lights and place your cellphone with flashlight besides the cage and they will fly inside. If this info is wrong feel free to correct me. There's a new video of Alen AxP that can help you bond with it. I don't know the correct answer to your last questions as I am a beginner as well
there's a great channel called 'the bird whisperer'. we followed those techniques, It's basically sitting with hand on the cage for an hour at a time, then closer, then door open hand in cage for an hour - takes months, but it really works.
Well I didn’t choose for them to have babies the birds did theirselves. I had four and originally I got them only to be friends, but two birds chose each other and they were under 12 month old, probably like 5 months which is pretty low. But the female already has a brown crust nose meaning she is ready for breeding mode. Also the male has a blue nose meaning he is ready for breeding mode too. Should I just let them do their business or wait a bit longer?
don't throw the eggs away until you are really really sure she's not going to start sitting. she should start to sit after she has a few eggs built up, 1-4 days after last egg laid so I read, but I'm no expert just doing this first time too! Maybe you can access an incubator for abandonned eggs ? (many people with chickens will have one). I thought she was abandoning eggs because not sitting on them straight away, so took them all to the incubator, and she just kept laying more. Now I'm leaving them there for her.
I have babies for my parakeets one is tree weeks bold the other two are newborn haven't open eyes. The coconut is to small were I have them should I get a bigger nest and separate the babies so they will be comfortable
Ok so I have two buggies one male and one female. They are both over 13 months old and matched. I am trying to successfully breed them but I have not seen them breed. But my main reason I am writing this comment is that neither of mh buggies are interested in the nesting box, what can I do.
mine became interested eventually, but it took over 3 years of them living together! The girl budgie was very timid. I put a towel in the box. Don't know if it helped but that's when it happened.
A few questions I would like to ask :- 1.Whenever I give my birds nesting materials she always throws it away why? 2.What is the suitable nesting environment for budgies should I keep them away from my other budgies? 3.Whenever I give the many healthy food they refused to eat it why? They just want to eat seeds I do not think that is very healthy....
I'm new, but there is information I don't know, thank you!
You’re welcome 😊
Such pretty birds!♥️🐦🐦🐦♥️
So beautiful!!
Thanks for all the information...Thanks for sharing this with us...Happy Weekend ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

they're too young, be patient
Yea there to young they need to be at least 1 year old 🙂👍 I waited 1 year
Also don't forget to give them calcium
Yea 👍
They are already 3 years old.
Lovely birds 🐦♥️♥️🐦
Could you help to explain what are they eating in min 7:24
Looks like a grass
sprouted barley
So if I understood correctly, we need to seperate the couple from the other budgies while they are nesting. Am I correct?
Yeah

It doesn't mean that if they are mature they have to breed. They won't breed unless if you give them a nest box.
Very useful video. Thank you ( 🇮🇳 telangana state)
Can i add cotton in box?
No, birds will ingest the cotton which will jam the crop and their food canal eventually leading to choking, may be fatal
@@dennythebudgie ok thanks brother 🙏
Shoutout to the blue bird with 'developmental issues'. We still love you!! 5:30
nah the bird is okay

that budgies always need nesting material isn't true.
Chicks will get splayed legs
I kept putting some in my hens box and she'd throw it out so I gave up babies grew up fine
@@sofiasandoval5268 my females usually bite the nest and have sawdust, and I had a female who even brought feathers into the nest
It's all based on birds preference.
No need for nesting material at all my experience....❤
Does it have to be hard boiled eggs? Or can it be cooked any way?
Hard boiled is the best

If she trows it, keep it out from the nest, some birds don't like bedding inside their nest
