Thank you Sir! It is just a candid attempt with the GoPro so I am glad it turned out decent. My phone camera is busted a the moment so getting the cool shots has been harder.
Wooooooo weeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!! Can't wait for the Yellow bass to start running near my area that you know about as well!!!! Hopefully we don't miss them this year!!! Should be about a month or so before they come in that creek I'm thinking!! That was a MONSTER bass to start off the show buddy
Awesome man! I was surprised to find those yellow bass after y'all rolled out. It is a great little spot! Went back the next day too with different results.
@ I wish I had thought to put my glasses over the camera on the next days trip to show the bass I saw but, there were 5 or 6 on the bank when I got there the next day.
@@OGfishingtexas Now you got me all confused. I am pretty sure it was a large mouth but, I don’t know how dense the spotted bass population is on this section of river and two, I didn’t do a tongue patch check so I can’t be sure. As far as the yellow bass go, they are definitely a thing. The ones I caught were probably as big as they get normally. Their main feature is their yellow coloration. Otherwise they are very similar to other white bass species.
I bet! I went the next day and there had to be at least 5 or 6 bass basking right off the bank. I am looking forward to summer time back there. I am a morning angler so getting out there before the heat will be great.
@@ReesFamilyGarden That's the hard thing about revealing spots. I think this spot will be solid for a bit though since it does take a good walk to get to it and it is going to usually be warmer water in the winter and cooler water in the summer so the fish will come up regardless. I am excited to try it in the summer as that is usually when I have the advantage of fishing early.
@@OntheRealFishing I'm up in Hendersonville so it's a little bit of a trek for me to hit on a whim, so hopefully its worth it when I finally make my way down there.
great thumbnail mate, I think the thumbnail and title combo is a great choice

Me either! They were already up in here because of the warmer underground spring waters there. I was quite surprised at the bass.
@OntheRealFishing oh wow!!! That spring definitely helps that fishing spot out!!! Wooooooo weeeeeeeeeee
Hell yea, bonus 🐟
good one
Indeed
Good deal! Looks to be a great spot. Thanks for taking us alone.
It has warmer water coming in from underground making it a prime spot for fish to find refuge from the cold and heat of the summer.
Sweet winter time trip. The water is so similar to Lewis Smith lake in North AL it's scary. Thanks for sharing.....
Thank you for watching!
I grew up near there,ee use to call that place "key hole"
I can see why for sure! It was a beautiful first visit. I will be excited to go back as the weather warms.
Nice fishing! I was one of the guys out there when you came up!

@ heck yeah man. Not many crappie left in there now unfortunately 🫣 lots of bass though

@ all the time man!! They were there today too. I’m just not after bass too often, but it’s fun every once in a while
#1 nice spotted bass! And I’ve never caugh5 a yellow bass, seems like a white bass?

Looks like the same cove @Betterdaysfishing has been posting recently.
It is! I had to go give it a try and see what I could find.
@@OntheRealFishing I gotta find some time to get down there and check it out before it's all picked apart lol

@@ReesFamilyGarden My main concern for the spot is all the construction that is going on around it.
