    Seeing the fruits of your labor. The hard work, time and effort you put into cleaning and sealing the teak surly paid off, it's beautiful what a transformation. How often do you think you will have to do it? Maybe try a large stiff bristle brush next time. I'm so happy to see Charlie with a lifejacket on, so many sailors with children don't make them wear them. Charlie sure is a beautiful little Sea Goddess with a sweet personality. Thanks for sharing can't wait till next week God bless and stay safe

      Thank you! 💜 So good to see such a difference, feel very accomplished by seeing such a big chabge in color in the wood!
      It depends on how the progress, they probably won't be done again for a year or 2, or more.
      Charlie love love loves the water and playing with water! She is a little sea goddess 💙 ✨️ 😍 💕 💖
      Thank you! We love seeing yoi back every week! 💕

    To live a sweet life clean & tidy, you have to do some dirty work now and then. Nice job, Cait and co-star Charlie.

    With all the interior wood cabinetry and trim, do you get condensation that turns into mold behind that stuff? What are your plans on dealing with that?

    • @sailingwiththejamess
      @sailingwiththejamess  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey Robert! Great question! 👍
      When it heavily rains for days and then is sweltering hot out we make sure we have those "moisture absorber buckets" (Damprid brand or similar) emptied and we do get some mold on the ceilings and walls after heavy rain and we use vinegar to wipe down and clean the mold.
      The other thing we have is all our cabinets have a mesh front, you can see into all the cabinets and it helps with air circulation. We have moisture absorber buckets around the boat in bilges and cabinets to help reduce moisture.
      It is a great question!

    Teak should never be used, unless you can afford to have someone, that does nothing but take care of it.

      The JustTeak did a really good job and comes in different stains. Can highly reccommend 💙
