Glad I bought mine. 2JZ-GTE 6speed V160 and currently pushing about 650 to the wheel.

It is a legend not a king anymore technology has evolved but not the essence of an mk4. The mk5 is simply a German at heart with a JDM esk shell
Hey there, sorry I couldn’t watch yesterday I got caught up with some family shit. I like this video a lot. The 2JZ is such a power-potential engine and the supra is such a cool car for that kind of engine to be in. In-line 6s are such great motors in general. I’m so glad you got to drive this. Cars and Coffee Southlake was great, too bad my camera had an overheating fit. Too many hot cars I suppose. The temperature was great for a car show and I drove down without the AC on. Crazy for mid summer!
The Dutch Texan yeah man everything is gonna be alright. My dad is just battling cancer right now and it’s very stressful for him. I really would love to see a supra in your garage for sure. They are very affordable and very very capable cars. It would be a great addition. Honestly though, for some reason I just can’t see you in a supra lol. You just don’t look like the supra kind of guy but I know you are at heart, and that’s all that matters.
Sorry the camera overheated. I know that can suck sometimes. Gotta love hot cars though, that’s for damn sure. What happened to your air conditioning again?

And a Supra would be one of the cars I would have, classic American Muscle is still the #1 step I will take if I ever get to the project car stage!
And the AC is fine, no problems there (knock on wood). The a6xxx series has an overheating problem. I am still waiting to upgrade. I won't until 4K60 makes it in Sony's alpha lineup. They use the same batteries I use now, so it makes sense to stay with the a series. And the later models seem to be better with the overheating thing.

Id take this generation of the supra anytime over the new. This was before toyota became lazy and started borrowing other companies parts to creat a car and put their badge on it.
Always love old-school and Supra was about as good as it got, Hope your feeling better.
This was definitely a car I loved before I drove one and still love after! One of the most iconic 90’s cars for sure.
I'm kicking myself because I had the opportunity to buy this car last year - low km, garage kept, owned by an elderly man. Was selling it for only $6000!! I wish I could go back in time and buy it, I hesitated and it was swiped up.
I've lost out on some deals myself. I always tell myself that wasn't the right car for me. I hope you come across a deal again so you can make the deal!
I wanted one of these so bad when I first saw (became aware of) one in 1996. Pure sex! Great review and I’m sure it was a blast to drive. Keep doing what you do.
It was a lot of fun! And it is one of the best engine notes out there when you get into boost.
that bit about the retail value about the Supra VS F355 is so true though.

It’s weird. I personally really like the F355 if I am completely honest. It was one of the last Ferrari’s that held on to that iconic 80’s styling architecture with some 90’s mixed in.
But, if I had to chose? Totally Supra. Even with the Supra tax it would be cheaper to keep on the road.
i like the F355 too but i'd go for a Supra as well. It fits my style better and they're indeed cheaper to keep. Flexing on Ferarri's would be a fun little bonus XD

The prices keep going up, that's for sure! I wonder where they will plateau. I think a big reason why they are going up is the MKV not living up to the hype at all.
Wow, this one is left side steered! I only see right side steered Supras over here... (if you see one at all 'cause they're not very common obviously)
I never saw one in the Netherlands I don't think. Funny thing though, the first R35 I saw was in the Netherlands of all things while I was visiting my parents back in 2009.

That was the king of the hill! I’d love to drive one of those someday! But on the streets when modified Supras were at the top for sure. Now it’s TT exotics. The game has changed so much in the last 10 years.
