Question. I think that phrase “allies” is mostly applied to countries that are not our allies and mostly seem to be pseudo enemies if not full enemies . But to the very small number of countries that are genuine allies, shouldn’t we have their back?

Congressman Thomas Massey recently stated nearly every single congressman/woman has an AIPAC babysitter. Why is that? Unfortunately, not long after he stated this his wife passed away.
I think about that a lot. I don't want to believe that is what happened to her, but it is what keeps coming to mind.

He gave the reason why. It's because Isreal wants to ensure our government's interests line up with theirs. Bit odd that it's been a month since she died and there's been no info on her cause of death. I would be willing to chalk it up to coincidence if it wasn't for the fact that numerous congressmen/women have died, had a spouse die, or had a child die after bashing Isreal or certain government agencies. I hate to dip my toe into the conspiracy side of things, but there's just been too many "coincidences."

This video just proves my theory further, the reason America is aligned with Israel as much as it is mostly is due to the American evangelical churches eschatological error. Premillennial dispensationalism has caused us to make a lot of terrible choices as a country. We can’t manufacture the modern nation of Israel and forcefully issue in what we view “end times prophecy”. Love you guys but I would review your opinion about what the Bible says about Israel and who Israel REALLY is. *hint* it’s not the modern state of Israel.

@@WarriorPoetSociety Then you should understand that ethnic Israel was removed from the olive tree and the Church was grafted in (including those ethnic Jews that accepted Christ). As Christians we are the true Israel. The old ways were destroyed in 70AD, the temple is gone and we are now in Christ. It’s something to rejoice about. Looking backwards and seeing significants in ethnic Isreal inherently takes away from what Christ has accomplished.

Research "Dancing Israelis on 9/11" specifically *We Are Change* they have most in-depth report on it. Most of the stuff Googles algorithm points you to is "debunked" or "conspiracy theory" fake news

The state that is Israel now is not ethnic Israel. They were religious jews or migrated there after the belfour agreement. Don't be ridiculous and pray to understand some of the parables.. the parable of the 10 Virgins relates to Israel not the church.. Jerusalem is often described in the OT as the *virgin* of Israel.. who were supposed to be prepared when the Messiah (bridegroom) arrived from God the Father who was the "husband" of Israel. Israel being "the woman" symbolically portrayed in Revelation 12..

No U.S. tax dollars should go to any person or nation. It is not the role of government to take from person A in order to give to person B, regardless of whether person B is a U.S. citizen or a foreign nation.
I wish Israel, and her people, all the best; but it is not the U.S.'s responsibility to get involved in foreign wars and be the world police. If they'd like to purchase weapons from the U.S., they're more than welcome to come to the United States Big Box Store of toilet paper and Patriot Missile Systems, but hard working Americans should not be forced to shoulder the financial burden of foreign nations.

I can see where you're coming from, but most European NATO partners have had boots on the ground in unpopular wars the US dragged them into. I remember I once saw Tucker Carlson ask in an interview why his son should fight for Montenegro, and the reason is because some Montenegrin's son died fighting for the US. (Montenegro only suffered 1 death in Afghanistan, but they also have only 0.2% the population of the US). Israel is different though, and I can understand why you wouldn't want to get involved abroad. After all, our soldiers died because you did intervene in foreign countries.
@@Seagull780 NATO only exists at this point as cover for our politico-economic imperial tendencies. We promise "protection" in return for pushing perversion and accepting our terms. Never once has a US ally (since the fall of the Soviet Union) actually made out better when they've accepted NATO "help". Zelensky, when his usefulness is done, will be left to rot. Poland is suffering right now because of it: the Polish people want nothing to do with Ukraine. They realize it's just an American proxy war. However, in return for NATO membership and American business, the Polish government was forced to abandon Russian energy, and follow sanctions, both of which were harmful to Poland.
@@Seagull780 I would be astonished if we were invaded by a foreign country and we actually had the resolve to repulse them, much less fight in yet another offensive war rigged yet again by our own politicians to lose over the course of 2 decades making sure the military industrial complex is well fed by then. Too many people here aren't for what it takes to win a war, which means not caring about things like "Rules of engagement" or a handful of civilians being at the wrong place at the wrong time or purposefully used by an enemy with no morals to hide behind in an age of technology. Germany may have the worst war victory record, but since WW2 I hardly consider Korea and Desert Storm to be substantial accomplishments considering we've been at war the majority of the time since. Lastly, NATO only promises never ending conflict and Russia/Ukraine is a perfect example; France sent what? All 1000 of their army to stop Russia? No, they just want to drag us in to this conflict at which we have nothing to gain.

@@BarneyFife1776 It depends on the type of conflict. The most important lesson from vietnam is that a guerilla war cannot be won purely through force. The US didn't care about ROE too much, they just counted up all deaths as combatants (which is why weapons recovered from airstrikes were usually far fewer than the amount of supposed combatants killed), and it worked the wrong way. The VC had popular support and they could use that to hide among the population, and they could just vanish the second any major concentration of force showed up, and new VC would pop up wherever those troops had been pulled from. ROE were tightened after that and at this point in time, NATO countries have the most effective counter insurgency strategy in existence, even though it eventually failed in Afghanistan.
NATO is a defensive alliance though. No member state is obligated to help any other unless they want to, and there is 0 obligation to help non-members. Aid to Ukraine just comes from freedom loving democratic countries that wish to help for another young, freedom loving democracy, NATO isn't forcing you to help.
The current nation-state of Israel has nothing to do with Biblical Israel, John. The Bible is very clear on this issue. It explicitly states that any Jew who denies Christ is NOT part of Israel. Romans 9:68.

The fact that God uses Israel to refer to all of those who are saved does not negate God's promises to the Jewish people, as per Romans 11:25-32, which states that while the Jews are (partially) hardened against God that his promises for their people are as irrevocable as his promises to us. We see that in Ezekiel 37:21-23. This cannot be a reference to Christianity since it refers to the physical location of Israel and salvation coming AFTER being brought there, and God is not bringing all Christians there before their being saved. You see similar in Isaiah 35, where the nation of Israel is a desert that becomes full of fruit (again, with physical locations and neighbors listed). It was not a desert back in OT times and was quite fruitful already, but it became a desert after centuries of desolation and war and has only recently become the Middle East's number 1 fruit producer.
