Can you please do a breakdown on the latest Wimbledon ad that uses a lot of cool effects?

You might have to enable cell fracture in addons

Stupid question: why do you distribute points on faces of the car, but then you instance the plants on the vertices of the car instead? Then there is also no need to reduce the density of points... that's not really easy to understand from a "logic" standpoint 😉

@@MaxNovakTutorials Sorry, but you either don't understand what I'm saying or you don't understand your own node setup... or both. The "Density" does NOTHING for the instances here, because you did not plug the "Points" output of the "Distribute Points on Faces" into the "Instance on Points" node, but the original car mesh. So you are only instancing on the vertices of the mesh (which you can clearly see by how the instances follow the boundaries of faces), and the number of vertices in the mesh does not change by the density setting of the distributed points. They would only change if you subdivide the faces or merge or delete vertices...

@@gordonbrinkmann obviously he did a mistake there. Instead of instancing on the distributed points he instanced on the vertex of the actual car. . . You are right ✅️

@@mohanpugaz And obviously he did not even realize it after being asked about it. I find it very negligent to post this in a tutorial for beginners, because some will have a hard time understanding why their setups do not work although they made everything correctly according to the video. Most of the time when beginners find something not working, it is because they did not pay close attentation to a tutorial, but here they don't stand a chance.

@@gordonbrinkmann yes I made a mistake and placed the instance on points node in the wrong place. I think I had instance node after distribute points originally but blender crashed due to me having too many points - hence why in the recording I emphasized lowering the points value. Not a big deal, doing it the way I showed doesn’t break the system / make the viewer unable to recreate what I’m showing - I just placed the node inefficiently by accident. I don’t want viewers to think every little thing I’m doing / showing is what they must do. I show an example and encourage people to refine and change things to their liking (think I also said this in the video). Hope that clears that up ! For anyone watching confused by these comments I show connecting the instance node correctly here at the 1:30 mark to create a similar scatter: th-cam.com/video/90XX4CIQsV0/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=MaxNovak .
