Another one fixed today many thanks ❤ Audi Q3 2014, I dropped my aerial out the bottom of the unit before reassembling the front (there is a small hole where a plastic lug goes through) and stuck the antenna to the inside of the plastic dashboard just behind the switches outside of the head unit so it’s not enclosed within the metal casing 👌
Brilliant - just used your video to open up my 2016 Audi A1 MMI and check the unit (to make sure the same before trying to source) - You can buy this module CK5050+IA07 from various sources - that being said, having checked the module, put it all back together whilst off to order, it all started working! I noticed that the code on the back of the unit (on the outside) mentions Contains IC: 5119ACK5050PIA06 - this number is lot easier to search on ebay etc, and came up with numerous options... I was going to source one of these - and may have to if it stops working again!
Just bought the complete radio unit on ebay for £90 delivered then took the bluetooth module out of it. Search ebay for 86120YV010 there is one on there for £99 delivered right now.
I don't sorry, I did google pretty hard to find any info even about the Toyota one in the first place. Those Toyota ones are pretty cheap and plentiful though.
If you search on ebay UK right now for 86120YV010 there are two on there, one is £70 and the other £75, both including delivery! So I'd call that a very cheap part to fix a very expensive problem.
Hey, I have an Audi A1 2014 with the RMC radio. I have the same issue; I can't find the MMI via Bluetooth, and the MMI doesn't find me either. The search is canceled after a few seconds, stating that no device was found. That's the same error as in your case, right? Software updates, etc., have already been done, just like in your case. I have now ordered a Bluetooth chip from Alibaba, with shipping costing $70. A few questions: Is it the same error as yours, right? Is the module sufficient, or should I also get an antenna? I can remove one from any device with Bluetooth, correct? I would also appreciate any tips from you :)
@@Alexzz It has to be that exact type of bluetooth module. You are best getting one of those Toyota 86120-YV010 head units to become your donor source, unless you can figure out an alternative.

Well done on fixing your bluetooth! Enjoy, and yes not a bad idea to put it outside the cage 👍

Just to let you know this worked a treat thank you! For a Q3 2014 model. Works brilliant thanks for this!
Excellent!! Glad that sorts your and helps you out :) I'm really pleased it has helped someone else.
Please could you tell me where you got the Donor set from?

Do you know what other units share the same Bluetooth module?

I would, if it works, write a guide in German for a forum and use your video as a reference. I hope that's okay.

@@threepotMR2 Was it the same error I described? So that he didn't find any mmi during the search and quickly stopped the search?
Where do you live!!! HELLLLPPPPPPP
