I just noticed that all three cars weren't exactly the same. They all had something different about them to distinguish them. -Dom's civic is missing the top deck on it's rear spoiler (obviously so Vince could stand on it) and it has a sunroof. -Letty's civic doesn't have a sunroof and it has the top deck on it's spoiler. -Leon's civic is a combination of the other two civics. It has the top deck on the spoiler and a sunroof.
I was 11 when this movie came out on VHS and my sister bought it for me, and this scene when the Civic drives under truck is still one of my favorite memories ever and I would rewind and play it over and over. I can't explain in words accurately how much I love this movie.

The sound is very real, they use a T66(turbine 66) with nos. Other stuff is mishimoto tires (wheels i have forgotten about) , green neon, glass roof, ViS/Vader bodykit, 100 tinted windows. I would guess they are between 450-600hp with the nos. It is the turbo with the Nos that makes the pisschh sound. Other stuff they use is from spoon, like drivetrain, suspension, brakes etc etc. Mostly spoon did was building the motor. To build this u need right stuff like cooler, intake, and so on with the T66. NOS if u want completely the same. But I mean is that u don't need same things as this car to make it like that. Just things that work very well with the turbo. Maybe they go on a methanol system aswell for the turbo and Nos. But idk. Hope i could help some.

After 20 years of this amazing movie. I still own the same Honda Civic. I drove V8, A5, Benz, S-Class trust me guys it is by far the best car of my life. There is a strange healing aura about this car it makes me feel happy no matter how much depression hits it's a matter of time when i start the engine voila i am on cloud9.
I had the same bodystyle black civic that was in this movie. I loved that car so much and took care of it like a baby. I drove it from age 17-21 then traded it in. I agree that it had some sort of healing aura! I wish I still had it, and I think about it all the time even now at 44. 😭

I think the reason this series’ plot has changed so quickly is because of the audience. Everyone nowadays seem to like/love action packed movies with some silly/serious twists and thats what f&f is trying to deliver. Like if this series was still like this until now, then nobody would’ve actually really care to watch it.. except for a small group of people and thats us car enthusiasts. Audience appeal is hard to achieve thats why this series is risking everything just to get the attention it needs. I would’ve actually wanted this series to go back to its roots, but its too late. I mean yeah bullet proof magnetic exotic cars and buletproof humans riding transforming motorcycles are cool and all, but this movie has completely forgetten from whence it came which totally messes up the plot. And movies like this gave a new breed of young car enthusiasts like me. Sadly, it wont ever be the same since instagram, tiktok or whatever clout bs has influenced more than half of young car enthusiasts. The question now is, what modern car movie can capture the hearts of younger car enthusiasts. Sadly, the pickings are slim.

However suspension of disbelief the sound of the Civic pushing through the gears you don't even care. I was driving my SC400 next to a semi this morning and I was like ain't no way I am sliding under that even as low as I sit.
