Thanks for review. I wonder if these cockpit/seat are good to play regular games with controller too? I was thinking if would use cockpit like this for racing games and console games overall.
Yes a nightmare. Bought one. It sat at their warehouse with a tracking # for a week without movement. Finally got here a week after pickup. Arrived with a missing part A plate that holds the bottom of the podium stand. Took another 5 days of back and forth emails, pictures, highlighted instruction and all to show them what part was missing. So they said they would ship me the part asap. 5 days later, no tracking #. So i emailed them again asking how long it will take, they said 5-7 business days. 12 days later still nothing. Emailed again, said it was a shipping problem. Almost a month later and my part is on it's way. They said 1 more week for delivery. Go with another company if you enjoy seemless enjoyable transactions. Who knows when my part will arrive and I'll get to try my new Fanatec setup thats been collecting dust.
@@takdan i Reported it to GT Omega qnd they are investigating if it was a mistake or process issue to adress in the future. Such things can happen with new products

I bought the full Prime a couple of months ago for £680 ish inc the seat and love it but would 've gone for the lite if it was out at the time but at least I have the super heavy duty pedal tray
@@deetee2730 Because it would ve been strong enough and cheaper .but dont get me wrong I love my Prime and the super heavy duty pedal tray is brilliant
@@Dave062YT Got it! I have similar thoughts. The Prime is on sale right now so it’s about $100 more than the Lite, but I’m not sure if it’s worth the extra cost if I may not take advantage of something more heavy duty.
I'm still waiting for my GT OMEGA PRIME Lite Cockpit, and I'm wondering when I will receive it. It has been almost two weeks now. Have any of you had a similar experience?
Thank for the review ! I am currently looking into this product but feel a bit of embarrassing to choose either of them. My kit is MOZA R12 with 12Nm peak torque. I know people dont usually run full torque of the base but still a peak torque around 10Nm is practical during race. I would guess it may be too much for the Lite but the prime is definitely over-engineering for 10Nm torque. Any advice?
I have an R12, I previously used it with a NLR Wheelstand 2.0 and I had no issues with flex due to the 12 NM. I decided to upgrade to a full cockpit mostly due to the office chair situation, eventhough I find the Wheelstand 2.0 cradle design genius, it didn't mitigate all the problems from using a separate chair. So, I got the Prime Lite, let me tell you, 12 NM is nothing for this thing, seriously, it feels super sturdy even with the base set to 100%, I definitely recommend it to you if you don't wanna overspend on the non Lite version.
@@diegochavira5815 Mega thanks! This information is extremely useful. I will get the prime lite with confidence now. I also used a wheel stand. It was alright at the beginning, but somehow the wheel base cable getting loose and as long as the wheel base have some displacement, the cable will disconnect. That's the reason why I need a rock solid cockpit now 👍

I went to a scrap yard and pulled a Mazda RX8 seat. No flex whatsoever in heavy braking. Cheaper too.
That’s what I’m thinking of doing. What country and how much did it cost if you don’t mind sharing?

Did you also have to drill into the side of the Aluminium Profile for the Wheel base in order to fit the 4 8x20 sunken head Srews in there?

How much lighter is the Lite compared to the Prime? Is it half the weight? Two thirds?
Are you using the Prime or Prime Lite as your main rig?
Can a Handbrake and Shifter fit on the Shifterboard?
Nice review 👌🏻 you almost need a bigger room now 😂
Thanks, I need a bigger room haha, but those are some first world problems I guess
I know GT Omega ships from UK. How much is custom charges to Croatia ?
No charges, just make sure to order from their EU website
If I get a chair from a junk yard will hat fit on this?
Should work with some proper mounting brackets
