@@TheMHohSoma yes, it was the hydraulics. Weirdly with the helmet on and crew comms in your ear it's not as noticeable

@@MozzySails I can't think of any other amateur who would have been able to do it with so little coaching, but the amateur hardly covers your skill and knowledge. It must have been great after all your talking about the technicalities of foiling monohulls to finally get in the helmsman seat and see if you could do it. 10/10

Il be honest. After watching them boats for so long you become numb to the marvel of the technology. It's not till you see someone you truly respect like Toms first reaction that it puts it back into perspective. So happy for you bro 👊
You could say you were lucky to have this experience, but also definitely a case of making your own luck through the effort you've put in to both your sailing and your AC analysis. Well deserved.

Mozzy you are so good at taking us with you into whatever boat you are sailing… I was literally leaning into the turns as you made them! Brilliant of Musto and Athena to make the video possible. I will certainly be rooting for the team going into the youth and women’s AC series which I somehow suspect will provide better tactical racing than the AC75’s will, due to the one design philosophy. Keep up the great work!

What a wonderful sport we love, from a home made Opti, the Tally Ho resoration project, the J-Class all the way to foiling mono-hulls in the AC - brilliant.

Wow, that just goes to show how complicated these 40's are let alone the 75's and not even in a racing environment having to manoeuvre for starting, rounding marks and all with other boat/s on the course and nearby. Hats off to you and those who fly these things in the races.

Good man! Well done! These foiling AC boats cop a lot of flak for not being real boats and you have confirmed that the experience is indeed real sailing. They have come along by leaps and bounds and, while the racing can be a bit one dimensional, I believe that the match racing component will become more intense when they learn how to keep the boats more consistently on the foils in manoeuvers.
So fantastic to see you at the helm of an AC foiling monohull Mozzy!
