GRK Screws are lag-bolt replacements and actually cheaper in the long run if you're going to make a few benches. Home Depot and Lowes sell them. This is the true Leopold Design 30degrees. Others use a 40-45-20 design. This is much simpler. You can also put another board on top facing backwards so you can sit on the bench backwards and use it as a mini-table or arm rest when you're looking at birds thru your binoculars.
