Totally agree with everything. Every promo, you get total idiots. They even upgraded this rigged algorithm with the 'positional matchmaking' update: they will take away your best champion you play; they will set you up against players who either pick them or ban them. I'm not kidding, they literally took away my Brand 4 times in a row when I was in my promos, I had to dodge 3 times, the last one I gave in and of course I got total idiots. It's so obvious.

When you play LOL, you're not competing against other players. They're just accessories. You're competing against algorithms, created by a bunch of beta males in Santa Monica that sold themselves out to the Chinese. Once you realize this, you then adjust your perspective on the game and what your realistic expectations should be. I'm not a high elo player, but I'm certainly better than the hardstuck rank I'm in. I play for stats. It's unfortunate and rather self-centered, but it's the only inspiration I can get out of this game. As long as my personal statistics indicate I am playing well and I am gradually improving, that's all I can expect out of Riot's algorithmic trash. Riot could easily fix this problem. This video is two years old and yet in Season 10, the problem still exists. Maybe even magnified at this point. Clearly their agenda lies in not creating a competitive game for non-pro players. They focus on introducing new broken champions so they can get players to buy them and their skins. They rework older champions and come up with all kinds of schemes to entice players to buy their skins. They have all of these token packages they want you to spend money on, etc......etc.....etc. This video is two years old, and yet still extremely relevant in 2020.

Odds of it happening? 1 in 1.88 x 10 ^ 112. The same odds is like: Pick one atoms in the universe and one of them to be an atom picked at random then hitting the powerball lottery 4 times in the row.
its a forced 50 percent win chance, by placing feeders, and afkers, who the system view as lesser skilled players on your team. In fact so you can have bad players climb into higher ranks, ive seen it myself. Guys with 250-390 games with 52-62 percent win rates, they can minpulate the system, but playing well in high pressure game changing moments. The systems expects them to play bad, but in these mobas, its about not only if you die but when. So all the lesser skill player has to do is go 1 kill 8 deaths, and in the final team fights just stay with the team and attack, thats it. Not all players with a 1kill and 8 death stats, are created equally, some understand the game and in key moments they don't run off to die since their least skilled player in the lobby, they stay with the team, other bad 1k 8d, players run off and die in the final team fights, to decide the game. The reason they don't make matching in each rank random, is because the lesser skill players will lose more often then not, as for winning conditions they need the best player in lobby on their side, in most cases. Bad players would lose more, and have 20-35 percent win rates, and not have a 45 percent win rates. You have bad players saying if your so good why are you in the same rank as me, Not realizing the system , forces the better players to carry bad ones.

@@MOF43 in mobas or fps, you see people do bronze to master or rookie to master challenge. Basically these are players in the top 5 percent of the game. They can easily play 100 games and win 70 of them. Top players have 65-85 percent win rates, because they play in a Squad or partial squad. The system cannot handicap them. There pool of players is so small in 8 out of 10 games they play much weaker teams, that's why they have such high win rates. The system benefits the top 20 percent and bottom 20 percent. Being above avg won't cut it in beating the system, being better than 70 percent of the players won't cut it, you need to be in the top 20 percent preferably the top 5 percent.
Riot tried everything to make the game imbalanced (ex: give you idiot teammates) before the game even started, just to ensure your win rate is below 50%. If you are waiting in the queue and the window of finding matches pops out and then be canceled several times, it is not someone is not preparing, its the game is finding you worse teammates to ensure that you would lose in the next match. Also, you have no way to dodge your next loss.

That video is still accurate in 2021: Made a new account. Started to main Ornn, had a 100% winrate. Then, suddenly, I get matched with apes. Now I am down to a 50% winrate. It's crazy, when you really think about it. Mind blowing. I still mostly outperform my enemy toplaner, but it doesn't matter at all, when all lanes are lost by far after 10 minutes of playtime. The amount of stupidity of my team mates is beyond good and evil. I just don't get it. Same with my girlriend: She started League a year ago and is hardstuck in Bronze, but she plays way better. She's at least a decent silver player. I watched a lot of her games: She performs well, but her mates run down her lane or start a baron fight outta nowhere and lose it. I get it, it's Bronze, but still: She's clearly playing better than her mates and yet she still can't climb the ladder.
I'm gold 2 on main. Made a new acc that started in bronze. Got to silver 1 with like 20 games and a good winrate and then loser q. I swear every game my jg has over 2k games in silver while enemy jg is a god, my top gets smashed then goes afk, my adc is autofilled and ints... I even duoed with my plat friend and it's just not possible to carry those games. My winrate dropped to 42% in 2 days, and currently I'm silver 2 0 lp on that new account, and never playing ranked again. I legit have no idea why does riot do this, like why don't they let people climb?

Unbearable. 2 mins into the game, all lanes dying and typing "ff im done with this game" and go troll or proceed to soft int the game...aside from the matches that are lost from the champ select, our teams just random picks like no cc, no tanks, no peel, no meta and their teams always great comps, actual teamplay, top TPs bot, jungle goes to calls, etc etc Its impossible, felt the same when i got to plat III, now i cant win a game at plat 4
It's not about the champs, it's always about macro skills. I was on a 65% wr in emerald 1 this season, 4 lp away from diamond. Then in 11 games I felt like I'm playing with gold/silver macro level players. Zero macro from anyone in those 11 games, just running for kills like gold/sivler noobs do.

This is the only game that makes me frustrating instead of having fun... what is the point of playing a game if it's not fun? However, i actually want Riot to keep this system, so that more and more players will leave as the time goes by, and hopefully everyone will stop playing eventually.
First off, a matching system that is hidden and not explained, it's clearly shady and easily manipulated. Secondly is the reason why they want to keep it like that, money. You have an algorithm in the game that is not focused on your personal skill level (kda, farm, objectives ect ect) but on your win rate ratio (which it doesn't make any sense because the MMR you get is personal, but it depends on other factors you have no control over, like your team mates and other stuff) with the intent of keeping it around 50%. Why 50%? Because it's the perfect Stat that will make you continue to play the game. 30% win rate? You'll likely stop playing this game, because loosing every game is not fun. 70% win rate? You reach the elo you yearn for and then you are most likely to stop playing because you reached your goal, and you get bored, you have no further obejctive. So the algorithm pushes you towards 50% (with some exploits like loosing and winning streaks) no matter what elo you are win. So why all of this? More time spent in the game and more games played? Simple, more time = more likely to spend money. After all league is a f2p game, so they have to make money somehow. The bad thing tho is that they do it without giving a fuck about the player base. This game is literally designed in every aspect to not make you stop playing it. The fact that this is even legal is ridiculous. People play hours and hours EVERY DAY. It's absurd. I'm waiting for an international class action, that sadly will never happen
maybe its even worse than we think, maybe your account is linked to the amount of skins your bought and that determines the quality of temamates that you are getting, so if you buy more skins, you win more and thus will likely buy even more skins. and if you dont buy any skins you have to 1v9 every game, meanwhile some lulu egirl that has all the star guardian skins gets all the good teams and climbs with zero effort.

After a hole season of playing this game 8 hours a day i finally made it to gold 4 in preseason.(this is my first ranked season and before i was just a plastic troll rager) Its true that if you improve your gameplay you will climb. But this is just an excuse by riot to bend you over 50% of the games. I did my gold promos before the season ended and got alot of trolls in them cassually when i was consistently climbing with 75% winrate.. And no trolls and no flamers. Then i litterally deranked until silver 4 after i lost my troll promos, and in the preseason i started getting back what i lost. After the stats reset i got 75% on jax over 50+ games and a couple of days ago i did gold promos again 3times in 2 days. Litterally, first promos i got trolls, i thought aight it happens.. 2nd promos i get trolls (when i say trolls i mean people that rage so fuking hard and go afk if you dont camp their lane or go int because they think that u should have helped him or something) and it was the second game that 3 of the 4 promos i had to play there was an afker in our team. I kept climbing to force that bitch matchmaking sytem until i get normal matches for promos and not forced losses. I indeed would recommend everybody to uninstall this game, it litterally scams you and robs you time of studying, having fun in live. Recently my grandfather died, this made me realise that things dont last forever and that maybe someday when i end a game everybody could be litterally ded. Inmagine how that would feel (obiously this is exagerated but u r actually wasting time and potential memories of your life)
This pattern is become more and more noticeable in online gaming. It's getting to the point where I don't even play multi-player games anymore because I can't trust the system. It's strange how the entire concept has change in gaming. This was never the case in the early 00s. It was common to be hot trash, but the reward was that over time you'd see improvements, along with be able to somewhat hang with other players, but still lose. Instead of going 0/15 you'd go 2/8. But it was a minor improvement. However, in today's gaming, it's like I'm in Arkham Asylum. Dota 2 does this very same match making as described in the video. How can I get teammates who all speak English, basic understanding of the game, know when to fight, use their moves instead of sitting on them, and understand that going in by yourself will get you killed. But you go on a winning streak you'll get teammates who speak Korean, Chinese, Spanish, and Russian. It's like some tower of Bibel or something. Teammates who will wonder off by themselves and constantly die over and over but blame everyone else, even though you can come to a rationale thought that since you don't see anyone on the map. They might be in the unwarded parts of our jungle? It doesn't make sense, it ruins games. It's clear that these people themselves don't play their own games because if they did, that shit would get instantly corrected because that would drive any sane person insane. I refer to it as the "No Child Left Behind" algorithm because that's what it is. I want to play and beat people of equal skill not an easy win or play and unwinnable.

But nonetheless, here it is a TL;DR of that message plus with added bonus things: -I get to diamond in season 8 (If I remember correctly the season) and I had an 70-80% winrate in like 40-50 games or so. -I instantly get 13-14 lp for no reason while being paired against higher elo players than me. -I lose one game, I lose like 22 or 23 or 24 LP, a very rare instance was of a 25 LP but I won't focus on that. -I have to try my hardest to win and I get teammates that are plat and diamond and we were up against Masters+ (and we still won) *Here comes the bonus extra funny thing* -Another game where I had to try hard for some reason, was due to a Master Tier Tristana as our ADC, whom would go jumping with W, Melee into a Jarvan. -Tristana was level 6 had only 40% hp with no R available and little mana left, while her minions were attacking the turret and she was also 2/0, fresh out of a double kill with my assistance. -Jarvan had full hp. I already typed and seriously heavily pinged that I am backing since I am low hp multiple times and I really mean MULTIPLE TIMES. -Dies as expected like a FedEx Delivery to the J4 and blames me the jungler...??? XD -We barely won that game and it was me who basically won it while our bot was making the game heavy as FK for no reason. -Post game lobby, everyone agrees with our Tristana...? Huhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh? -I stop playing that day right after. And I decided to play the next day. -Next day later I log in to a chat restrict, in spite of me not typing anything that game...????????????????? (Like I don't know if I still have the pic but it was hilarious as hell.) The message box that describes ill behavior being bad, supposedly contains and presents to me all the toxic messages that I was supposedly saying, but in it... there was just Game 1 with *absolutely nothing in it* and me just having to press ok. I wish I was making this sh*t up hahahahaha.
Also in regards to the funny thing, when I was grinding in ranked I wouldn't talk that much and what I don't understand is the chat restrict. Because in that game I did type only one thing and that being "low hp I am backing" and that didn't show up... so I am heavily confused to this day as to what I got chat restricted for back then XD

In the beginning it will be fair and you will get decent teammates, once you go on a win streak you get clamped by the algorithm then you are forced to lose because they choose players that are known trolls, feeders, and afkers and they put them on your team vs an enemy team of decent players. it is completely rigged and a waste of time, it is not an honest system. It is not based on skill. The only way to carry is to pick a 1v9 broken champ that snowballs off the planet in a solo lane (top,mid, jg) and get a few kills then take over the game. You will also have to be significantly better than the division you are in to have the mechanics and game knowledge to take over. @Get 2 I will play support each year just to get to gold and the systems will put you in a smurf queue with a bunch of level 30 accounts if you win too much. But here's the thing I'm level 200 and I just don't play ranked much. I mostly play ARAM. So I got to gold playing lux support last year then didn't play ranked for 6 months then I play maokai support and win like 80% of games in Silver so they put me in a smurf queue lmao like what I'm not even smurfing, I'm just trying to get to gold. It's not my fault I got good at playing maokai in fukin ARAMs. I had never played him in ranked so tried it out, doesn't mean I'm a smurf.
I noticed this too. Once I get on a win streak, they pair me with bad players and I can lose 10 games straight and waste all the LPs gained. Essentially life wasted and they want you to keep grinding and waste your life playing this game so they can make more money.

This is legit true, I had the same problem I quick tip: If you win more than 2 games you have to play flex only to lose if you lose on flex and only play winnable matches in solo/duo you can manipulate the matchmaking system. With this strat I won 9 games in a row I got greedy and played the 4th soloq game and instantly lost because of afk top and inter mid you have to be patient and lose the game in flexes. OR be absolute god and 1v9 carry every game but unless you are a challenger it is almost impossible. Edit: no it wont work with normal games your ranked win rate and kda is different than normal games.

I'm on a winning streak 1 tricking with 70% win rate over 50 matches. Yesterday, i won 2 matches in a row and earned 8 Lp each, lost 1 match and legit lost 22 points. I had to turn the game off at that point. Idk if I'm going to continue playing anymore.

If you get your team ahead by gold (basically you performing well) the enemy team gets bonus gold by taking objectives. So not only you get a shutdown bounty but the towers, dragons, baron etc. all get a bounty. Imagine going 10 0 5 or something, it won't matter as much anymore because a lead can easily be evened out by this stupid shutdown system. If your team is trash it will be harder and harder to carry them. Now it's easier than ever for them to force your 50% winrate. I won 4 games in a row and had to dodge 2 games in a row because I kept getting 3 jungle mains on the same team.
They also have a hidden behavior score for each player, if you are toxic or make false reports they will match you more frequently with toxic players and trolls or if you're in a winstreak they will put you in the infamous losers queue with toxic players. If you want to climb stop using chat, never type cause even one false or out of context report can lower your behavior score. Likewise, don't even bother reporting players even if it's legit cause if the system fails and find it no legit your user score gets hit, you also help Riot label throwers and trolls for their matchmaking. I played lol from season 1 (diamond 5 all seasons except s1 - gold), and before riot got flexible queue algoritm almost was fine. Most of games I played solo ranked queue. Flexible queue was not popular, but riot tested on it new matchmaking algoritms (1 year after they added that algoritms to all queues). In seasons 1-5 matchmaking system (MM) has been based on "chess" fair algoritms. Yes, it was not perfect, sometime I had low skill player as teammate, sometime as opponent (boosted accs confused the MM system). But the MM system tried to make the player’s real skill (aka hidden elo, mmr) match to current elo (boosted accs fall down very fast with 10-30% winrate) After season 5 riots realized - their commodity is "fun from victory/elo", so all players should have ~50% win rate (even deadbrain ruiners and boosted accs). Now they have "commercial matchmaking". I tested a lot with that shit. This algoritms measures all players real skill data very well - not only kda: apm(actions per minute), ability to dominate if you fed, pressure, harass, smart pings, etc, and trying to "balance" teams to 50% winrate in history (not current game chances). If your winrate high and you can win even 3v7 game, you will play 2v8 games until you reach 50-60% wr, and you back to your 4v6 "normal" games after that. If you go rage and troll for 30 games, you will play like 9v1 with god team against bots. The result of most games is predictable from the moment when you see the nicknames of your teammates in lobby (op.gg checks). Dodge games in lobby after op.gg checks is useless. If system want your loose - you will loose. No matter how many games you will dodge. Players no longer affect their winrate (in most games). This game - all about commercial matchmaking algoritms now. And it dead for me.

Rank does not matter in s9 tjanks to the elo inflation they did early in the season. Also plat is the worst elo,so much bullshit conflip because of the silver and gold players who abused the LP gain in the early season plus the smurfs it fuckin becomes a chore at that point and my MMR is just dog after losing so many times and the rage quiters making me lose lp. and finally the reason why league fucking sucks is because of the MMR system I swear there are games I hard carried that were 40 min long but the reward was so not worth it cuz of my busted MMR I getting 17Lp for being the most productive on the team is BS. Given this game another go for season 10, they lure you in with a few good games to start with everyone doing what they should and its actually fun to play, get up to 65% win rate and they throw you in the ass hole of elo to decimate you back down, then they throw in the bullshit if you play enough youll do better, i should have to play 5000 games to get a 2 win streak !!!!!!!!!
Same happened to me when I went from iron 5 to gold 3 mmr would go on massive wins streaks like 15 games + but then out of no where I had legit 25% winrate players
The matchmaking is terrible. It pairs me a level 30 and iron player with people with account level over 200 and is in silver. Like why? Whats fair about that? Nothing.
Here in 2024, rigged as F. I had a 5 win streak, followed by a 5 lose streak, followed by another 5 wins. Then I kept climbing as normal until I got a 7 win streak and promoted to plat, easy, then, as soon as I promoted to plat, didn't change anything in my playstyle or in my mental, I get a 10 LOSES STREAK out of the blue! Every single game with tilted teammates on losing streaks, afks, trolls, and enemy teams with lvl30 smurfs every single game I kid you not, it's so blatantly obviously forced it's driving me insane, I'm done with this game, there's no fair match making AT ALL, every single win/lose streak is rigged and is extremely obvious.
You forgot to add that most streamers have losers queue disabled on their accounts. You watch their gameplay and their team is actually winning most of the time or at worse their team is like 2-5 in first 10 minutes. In your games? Your botlane is 1-10 at first 5 minutes and now they are coming to your lane to grief And what is funny is that these spoiled streamers act like they are in losers queue meanwhile they are just getting normal games. They start complaining and flaming their jungler when he is not baby sitting their lane because they are so used to getting junglers carry them. And they won't even get banned for flaming their teammates because it is just one of the things that streamers are privileged to. When I first started playing League I was actually hovering around high Plat as completely new player with only experience being in Dota 2 but as low elo player. I'm now at least 800% better than when I was starting out but my rank is now Gold. Explain how is that possible? How is it possible that I was beating Plat players as a completely new player and was even laughing at how bad league players are but now I am hardstuck Gold who can't even carry games in Silver on another account? I think it is pretty clear that if you don't buy skins or get banned for toxicity even if you were not toxic your teammates will be feeding majority of games I still think the game is fun and enjoyable if you realize that your skill has nothing to do with your rank

If fifa or pes online can manipulate the match, so do all multiplayer games. Basically if you play rarely you will win a lot. And if you play more you will lose more, chasing for the win. If you rest for months, comeback, and lose, it's because the game try to bring you challenge, so you keep playing. Because people play the game seeking to win. After all, It's just about player retention. It's crazy because you can't enjoy the game without being addicted.
its already been talked about its called a white list there was a video and data on this streamers have a special match making where instead of 50/50 win forced win rates the game makes their matches 60/40.
I am convinced it's also the "teammates." Sometime it's the fed katarina in my team that just afk for no damn reason. Sometime people just afk after taking Baron.
I revisit this video everytime I go on a massive losing streak lol. I stop playing for a couple weeks and the clamp has suddenly been released. No I did not suddenly get better, no I was not suffering from tilt, I just stopped getting shitters in my team in back to back games. Seriously I don't see why going 0/16/2 as a top laner isn't a punishable offence. There should be a contribution score or something that players must meet to get the maximum lp from a win and to prevent losing extra LP from a loss. That would give bad players incentive to try their best if they start to feed .
I have the same issue. On 3 seperate accounts, when I get to gold 2 75+ and gold 1 85+ lp I start getting a massive losing streak, intermittently. Go on losing streaks anywhere from 4-6 games and win 1-2, despite having a 53% win rate and 58% on my otp fizz. That figure started to drop and it's now 51% and 56%, respectively. Not only that, it only happens when my mmr is higher than average and only resolves after I've lost 2-3 ranks. Keep getting teams who either just throw, feed or put against teams who are smurfing / better stats. This has to be rigged for it to happen to me on 3 seperate accounts, in similar fashions. I did think 'maybe this is just my skill level' but it doesn't explain my rank dropping so drastically. It can't be tilt, because this happened over several (over 30) games on each account. I just got a penta kill, then went on a 5 game losing spree. It's a bit strange getting rated an S for my gameplay, but lose my rank lmao. Lose the game when i got first blood, first turret, had multi kills, best farm, roamed, got drags, had a kda of 3+, but those 2 or 3 idiots, sometimes 4, all had a below 1 kda, fed their lanes, cant communicate, either flame, troll or play something stupidly out meta or dont think about the team comp. But i gotta suffer these fucks and the consequences when they dont care as much. what a fucking joke
Absolutely true. Still the same in 2023. Riot match you in ranked games with 0 10 bot lanes in 15 min. Even 5 0 mid, impossible to carry 3v5. Iam not talking about 1 or 2 games, iam talking about 9 games in a row. 3 different accounts prove that. They force you to loose, to play more. Haven't seen 1 game out of 100, where I got carried. You getting matches with toxic feeder that throw the games so fast. Not even 1 game with balanced teams. No one can tell me this is fair matchmaking. Stop play this game. Riot sabotage good players.

I have challenger peak in past, I can get to high diamond in any fresh smurf accounts, somehow riot decides to lock my main account to gold 2... LOL! I had 23%-40% win rate teammates but I was still carrying and doing win streaks, eventually I got up to low bronze teammates, I though you wouldn't get matched with more than 1 tier up or down from your own rank... riot algorithm really really want me at gold 2 I guess... eventually I dropped back to gold 2 and got stuck there. I KNEW something was fishy... Support main btw...
Can confirm this is true. 2021. Played ranked seriously for the first time ever, in 8 years playing League. I had played like 10-20 ranked games before, sticking mostly to normals. Anyway, I climbed from Bronze 2 to Gold IV in a month. Several win streaks of 10 games or so. Even in gold, I kept winning for a long while. Then, suddenly, as my winrate hits 67% with over 100 games, and I approach the Gold III promo, something changed, now I'm getting loss streaks of 10 games in a row. Constant AFKs, constant feeders, teams where I am expected to carry 4 people with 38%, 40% winrates. I repeat, this did not happen before. How is it possible that I had better teammates while in Bronze or Silver (Getting paired up with people with 49-51% winrates or so) than now that I am gold and getting matched with 34% winrate people? How is it possible I had no trouble beating people in Gold III when I was in Silver I but now I can't stop losing against Silvers? Because my team is now dogshit in every game and the matchmaking is rigged that's how. AFK or feeder in every single fucking game. It's fucking rigged. There's a cap on how much winrate you are allowed to get, or how much you are allowed to climb. Past a certain point the game expects you to get stuck unless you are a literal god that can carry 3 people with 30-40% winrates and an afk to victory. After 8 years of playing league I am thinking of uninstalling. I would have done it earlier if I knew the ranked experience was so fucking disgusting. There's a reason the matchmaking formula is hidden. Fuck riot.
I was a masters level statecraft 2 player. Account name Battletoads. Check it. I've been playing for six years. I've never been able to get out of silver. I've had nine permabans. I have spent so much money. The last time they permabanned me was because I defended myself when my jungle straight inted and my adc straight inted. All the toxic island trash of my team came down on my head and as I tried to explain myself I tilted and blew up. Well it turns out, every time they perma me, I make a new account, I buy skins and champs, make them money, get hard stuck because of a broken algerithm, tilt, get permabanned, rinse and repeat. They have been using me for money. For six years. I picked up statecraft 2 again after years of not playing and went right back to platinum. Which is where I belong now. No questions asked, I watch my replays and see exactly what I'm doing wrong and what I can do to climb again. That is not possible in lol. Riot and its defenders will say, "there's so many factors", "you have to carry harder", "it just seems like more losses because your emotional", "you're bad because you don't know why you're actually bad". All of these are hidding the truth that there is an algorithm in place to force people down and hand select certain people to move up. Don't believe me? Try spending 10 dollars on one account and 1000 dollars on your next. Don't talk to anyone. Dont use the same IP address. Quantify your teammates over 50 games on each. The one you spent money on will go up higher in rank. If I'm wrong I hope the universe fucking destroys me. Remember. No team equal mmr I was a masters level statecraft 2 player (the national sport of South Korea for 17 years running). I feel you dude. When I see some players at certain rank it is almost like insult that they are same rank (support mains with 0 warding knowledge for eample). I have many accounts from mid silver to plat 4. Honestly nowadays i don't see any difference in skill between them. Even CS are the same 2 leagues higher. I see sometime 3cs/min mid in plat (usually my teammate ofc). I mained many champs, mostly adc and mids. About year ago when u could see MMR on opgg i convinced myself that u can't climb until you abuse few champs (tryndamere, yi, jax) or OP duos (twitch/lulu, draven/leona, jarvan/talon for example). I was maining katarina while she was really good pick. I had many, many games when i carried with her. I even had a screen where I had average 11 kda for 30 matches and plat 1 mmr while being in gold 1. After that i couldn't win one game for ages. I was camped by enemy jungler who was almost always premade with my mid + almost always counterpicked and someone from this duo was always a smurf, morevoer 2 other lanes were still losing ( without jungler) and my jungler was behind in cs (its almost impossible when he was farming like 2x time more than enemy jg). After that i mained many champs and it was same fucking story, like the author of movie - at certain ELO matchmaking prevents u from winning. I had weird times like for example 15 straight losses with jinx. Recently I made new acc, when I played only sivir and caitlyn. It's funny that I have like 45% winrate despite almost 5 kda (9/4/9). It's funny because I had like 80% of games MVP or ACE according to opgg score system, but that's not enough i think. Until you play some shit that has damage, mobility, outplay/cc and survivibility in its kit then u cant solo carry, because u are dependent on teammates.

This is still true in season 11. Comparatively, in other games with a ranking system I easily achieved higher rankings with much less time spent in other games (plat in overwatch, plat in MTG Arena, Gold in Street Fighter 5, maybe 200ish hours on each) and yet I can't get out of bronze in League, a game I played for 10 years. It's pretty obvious they want to force 50% to keep you 'emotionally invested' and spend more time and thus more money. No thanks, I'll be sticking with other games that have actual fair systems.
So uh I used to be bronze and climbed to silver and eventually to gold and close to Plat. I started playing ranked again and I noticed the momment I hit silv 1 the game pairs the enemy team with plays diamonds and sometimes even fkn masters. In normals where I get paired with golds I almost always get a mediocre or positive score scaling into the late and dominating from that point on. The momment I play ranked boom 2/16. Just came from a game against an Aaotrox Diamond 1 100 lp in fkn silver game. He wasn't even smurfing, he was downright put into the enemy team.
I couldn't agree more. I am average, but I keep getting placed with people who go like 3/11/2 x 3 teammates, and I am like 4/6/4 (on account of teammates feeding and putting me in a hopeless position). It is IMPOSSIBLE to rank up. And people are quick to say "It must be you". When it is overtly evident that the teams are stacked. I say it all the time and people just tell me to get better. I know for a fact (even without evidence) that the matches are rigged against me, and in other games against others. Every single fucking game is a shit storm of talent, usually ending 40 kills to 10.

I would like to thank you for this video, as i agree with what you said and feel the same. But i have to disappoint you all... It's rigged not only in ranked games, but in ALL queues. Normal, ARAM, ranked, whatever. I've collected my data over the last 10 years. And guess what? Every SINGLE queue is around 50% WR. My overall WR is around 51%, over 7000+ games. I consider myself a good player, around plat. I always have good KDA, if the game is not rigged, i stomp the game and have a 50% WR? seriously?
its a team game , 2 dogshits will already plummed your winchance by 40% . You need to be so mobile and fed that you can supervise atleast 2 lanes ( your own and another ) . Its just to random man and way to luck dependend ( not having feeding lanes )

I completely agree with this. I was d1 from season 2-4 and stopped playing for a few years after that. When I play now, I'm able to go like 15-0 in ranked, but when I reach platinum, games become unwinnable, and I'm not able to clim further. You can literally not win these games unless you abuse something extremely broken and/or duo with someone and use a boosting strategies. I'm not even making this up. If you play 100% neutral for 10 games in a row, let's say you play toplane and go 0-0, you will lose every single one of these games. I'm not even making up excuses here, there literally is something fishy with this matchmaking system. Why are there people in platinum and diamond with terrible, negative win ratios? You can be 20-0, while someone who's the same rank as you are 30-50. Why do you need so many fu cking wins to climb, it didnt use to be like that. When I played ranked a couple of years ago, it would take some time to grind your way out of let's say platinum, because you would be matced with terrible people occasionally, but eventually you would be able to grind your way out. That does not happen anymore. You just keep getting matched with boosted trash that cannot be carried unless you have challenger-tier mechanics or something. Boosted accounts are an epidemic, look at all the elo-boosting sites that have popped up. Don't you think this would have a huge impact on the game? This game has become so frustrating and disgusting.
i was promo gold to plat and i lose my 3 games for no reason i was snowballing my lane and try to roam and helping my jung for drakes , i was focussing on teamwork not to be the only carry and it didn't work sadly , i was very mad after these 3 games, i was tryharding asf. i hope they will fix matchmaking and this game will be balanced!
They wont , your purpose is to keep playing with the Illusion of being bad ( force loose) so you try to get Better and keep loosing after a winning Streak (Illusion of being good ) so you think that you need new Strats or try even Harder and the cicle continues only Lück matters at this Point nothing else
They are trying to force and artificial 48%-52% winrate so everyone has a chance, so they think but they are wrong. Just because someone bought their account in gold/plat without even playing the game before doesn't mean they should also have a ~50% winrate. I personally have a 45% winrate after deranking from gold 2 to gold 4 because i passed a 60% winrate, and i still have it on Illaoi. They deranked me 2 ranks and gave me the worst teammates in the world because i had a very high win rate, but i have never gotten bad teams in promos wich is surprising, always when i am in my promos i get 49%+ winrate players on their main role so at least that. I've experienced the same thing in Diamond and Platinum. Only happens when I get 5+ winning streaks. Might be people boosting or really just Riot fucking with the matchmaking. It's too much to just be coincidence.
Logically speaking, if you REALLY get that free 10 extra LP when you win, and yet only -15LP when you lose, Something doesn't add up. If you win and the enemy team loses, the enemy team gets -15, you guys get +25. You can't have an entropic system where everyone gains LP, or else everyone will eventually make it to rank 1. Just like Capitalism, you cannot profit if noone takes a loss. Someone along the line has to tank the hidden catch of the MMR system. Something along the lines of rigging the promos of players to keep them in their elos to prevent them from hard climbing. While this does improve the reward for effort, this also highly discourages all but the highest skilled and the most dishonorable players to climb using broken champs and broken mechanics instead of winning due to skill alone. Like, you see that every champ is balanced about the 50% win rate line, but they aren't. Some are decidedly more overpowered than others, indeed able to 1v5 in every game if they don't get counterpicked, or even if they're losing 10 kills down. These winrate stats are manipulated to say the very least.

Totally agree with everything. Every promo, you get total idiots. They even upgraded this rigged algorithm with the 'positional matchmaking' update: they will take away your best champion you play; they will set you up against players who either pick them or ban them. I'm not kidding, they literally took away my Brand 4 times in a row when I was in my promos, I had to dodge 3 times, the last one I gave in and of course I got total idiots. It's so obvious.

When you play LOL, you're not competing against other players. They're just accessories. You're competing against algorithms, created by a bunch of beta males in Santa Monica that sold themselves out to the Chinese. Once you realize this, you then adjust your perspective on the game and what your realistic expectations should be. I'm not a high elo player, but I'm certainly better than the hardstuck rank I'm in. I play for stats. It's unfortunate and rather self-centered, but it's the only inspiration I can get out of this game. As long as my personal statistics indicate I am playing well and I am gradually improving, that's all I can expect out of Riot's algorithmic trash.
Riot could easily fix this problem. This video is two years old and yet in Season 10, the problem still exists. Maybe even magnified at this point. Clearly their agenda lies in not creating a competitive game for non-pro players. They focus on introducing new broken champions so they can get players to buy them and their skins. They rework older champions and come up with all kinds of schemes to entice players to buy their skins. They have all of these token packages they want you to spend money on, etc......etc.....etc.

Odds of it happening? 1 in 1.88 x 10 ^ 112. The same odds is like: Pick one atoms in the universe and one of them to be an atom picked at random then hitting the powerball lottery 4 times in the row.

its a forced 50 percent win chance, by placing feeders, and afkers, who the system view as lesser skilled players on your team. In fact so you can have bad players climb into higher ranks, ive seen it myself. Guys with 250-390 games with 52-62 percent win rates, they can minpulate the system, but playing well in high pressure game changing moments. The systems expects them to play bad, but in these mobas, its about not only if you die but when. So all the lesser skill player has to do is go 1 kill 8 deaths, and in the final team fights just stay with the team and attack, thats it. Not all players with a 1kill and 8 death stats, are created equally, some understand the game and in key moments they don't run off to die since their least skilled player in the lobby, they stay with the team, other bad 1k 8d, players run off and die in the final team fights, to decide the game.
The reason they don't make matching in each rank random, is because the lesser skill players will lose more often then not, as for winning conditions they need the best player in lobby on their side, in most cases. Bad players would lose more, and have 20-35 percent win rates, and not have a 45 percent win rates. You have bad players saying if your so good why are you in the same rank as me, Not realizing the system , forces the better players to carry bad ones.

@@MOF43 in mobas or fps, you see people do bronze to master or rookie to master challenge. Basically these are players in the top 5 percent of the game. They can easily play 100 games and win 70 of them.
Top players have 65-85 percent win rates, because they play in a Squad or partial squad. The system cannot handicap them. There pool of players is so small in 8 out of 10 games they play much weaker teams, that's why they have such high win rates. The system benefits the top 20 percent and bottom 20 percent.
Being above avg won't cut it in beating the system, being better than 70 percent of the players won't cut it, you need to be in the top 20 percent preferably the top 5 percent.
Riot tried everything to make the game imbalanced (ex: give you idiot teammates) before the game even started, just to ensure your win rate is below 50%. If you are waiting in the queue and the window of finding matches pops out and then be canceled several times, it is not someone is not preparing, its the game is finding you worse teammates to ensure that you would lose in the next match. Also, you have no way to dodge your next loss.
This is exactly why I ditched this dumpster fire of a game. Just knowing it's in the hands of a Chinese company sets the bar lower than low. They've got this algorithm crap to string you along endlessly. EA Sports cooked up this moronic algorithm, and Riot's happily buying into it by tossing them loyalty cash. Once you hit a certain rank, the system goes haywire. Win streaks followed by a straight plummet into endless losses. They feed off your frustration, giving you that high after a terrible losing streak, like some messed-up drug addiction. I wasted so much time on this before realizing the grim reality. (Emerald 2? Big whoop.) This game is nothing but absolute garbage. If you value your sanity and want to actually enjoy life, steer clear of this League of Losers. And have you seen their CEO? Looks as shady as they come, the epitome of unethical. Spare yourself the headache. DO NOT TOUCH THIS DAMN GAME.

their system is shit. 157 different champions and you can go into ranked playing an off role first time champ and hyper feed like a moron. zero integrity in their elo system. ranked should require mastery 3-4 to even play the champ and they should remove secondary roles for lower elo.

Made a new account. Started to main Ornn, had a 100% winrate. Then, suddenly, I get matched with apes. Now I am down to a 50% winrate. It's crazy, when you really think about it. Mind blowing. I still mostly outperform my enemy toplaner, but it doesn't matter at all, when all lanes are lost by far after 10 minutes of playtime. The amount of stupidity of my team mates is beyond good and evil. I just don't get it.
Same with my girlriend: She started League a year ago and is hardstuck in Bronze, but she plays way better. She's at least a decent silver player. I watched a lot of her games: She performs well, but her mates run down her lane or start a baron fight outta nowhere and lose it. I get it, it's Bronze, but still: She's clearly playing better than her mates and yet she still can't climb the ladder.
I'm gold 2 on main. Made a new acc that started in bronze. Got to silver 1 with like 20 games and a good winrate and then loser q. I swear every game my jg has over 2k games in silver while enemy jg is a god, my top gets smashed then goes afk, my adc is autofilled and ints... I even duoed with my plat friend and it's just not possible to carry those games. My winrate dropped to 42% in 2 days, and currently I'm silver 2 0 lp on that new account, and never playing ranked again. I legit have no idea why does riot do this, like why don't they let people climb?

It's not about the champs, it's always about macro skills. I was on a 65% wr in emerald 1 this season, 4 lp away from diamond. Then in 11 games I felt like I'm playing with gold/silver macro level players. Zero macro from anyone in those 11 games, just running for kills like gold/sivler noobs do.

At season 4, the game here close and even if you lose it has a close game. Now you win hard or lose hard..... the game is dead.

First off, a matching system that is hidden and not explained, it's clearly shady and easily manipulated. Secondly is the reason why they want to keep it like that, money. You have an algorithm in the game that is not focused on your personal skill level (kda, farm, objectives ect ect) but on your win rate ratio (which it doesn't make any sense because the MMR you get is personal, but it depends on other factors you have no control over, like your team mates and other stuff) with the intent of keeping it around 50%. Why 50%? Because it's the perfect Stat that will make you continue to play the game. 30% win rate? You'll likely stop playing this game, because loosing every game is not fun. 70% win rate? You reach the elo you yearn for and then you are most likely to stop playing because you reached your goal, and you get bored, you have no further obejctive. So the algorithm pushes you towards 50% (with some exploits like loosing and winning streaks) no matter what elo you are win. So why all of this? More time spent in the game and more games played? Simple, more time = more likely to spend money. After all league is a f2p game, so they have to make money somehow. The bad thing tho is that they do it without giving a fuck about the player base. This game is literally designed in every aspect to not make you stop playing it. The fact that this is even legal is ridiculous. People play hours and hours EVERY DAY. It's absurd. I'm waiting for an international class action, that sadly will never happen
maybe its even worse than we think, maybe your account is linked to the amount of skins your bought and that determines the quality of temamates that you are getting, so if you buy more skins, you win more and thus will likely buy even more skins. and if you dont buy any skins you have to 1v9 every game, meanwhile some lulu egirl that has all the star guardian skins gets all the good teams and climbs with zero effort.
Besides, see how this game used to look (first seasons), it was colorful, everyone was well-adjusted, now this game causes depression, the colors of the map have changed to a darker one to work also mentally.

After a hole season of playing this game 8 hours a day i finally made it to gold 4 in preseason.(this is my first ranked season and before i was just a plastic troll rager) Its true that if you improve your gameplay you will climb. But this is just an excuse by riot to bend you over 50% of the games. I did my gold promos before the season ended and got alot of trolls in them cassually when i was consistently climbing with 75% winrate.. And no trolls and no flamers. Then i litterally deranked until silver 4 after i lost my troll promos, and in the preseason i started getting back what i lost. After the stats reset i got 75% on jax over 50+ games and a couple of days ago i did gold promos again 3times in 2 days. Litterally, first promos i got trolls, i thought aight it happens.. 2nd promos i get trolls (when i say trolls i mean people that rage so fuking hard and go afk if you dont camp their lane or go int because they think that u should have helped him or something) and it was the second game that 3 of the 4 promos i had to play there was an afker in our team. I kept climbing to force that bitch matchmaking sytem until i get normal matches for promos and not forced losses. I indeed would recommend everybody to uninstall this game, it litterally scams you and robs you time of studying, having fun in live. Recently my grandfather died, this made me realise that things dont last forever and that maybe someday when i end a game everybody could be litterally ded. Inmagine how that would feel (obiously this is exagerated but u r actually wasting time and potential memories of your life)

This pattern is become more and more noticeable in online gaming. It's getting to the point where I don't even play multi-player games anymore because I can't trust the system. It's strange how the entire concept has change in gaming. This was never the case in the early 00s. It was common to be hot trash, but the reward was that over time you'd see improvements, along with be able to somewhat hang with other players, but still lose. Instead of going 0/15 you'd go 2/8. But it was a minor improvement. However, in today's gaming, it's like I'm in Arkham Asylum. Dota 2 does this very same match making as described in the video. How can I get teammates who all speak English, basic understanding of the game, know when to fight, use their moves instead of sitting on them, and understand that going in by yourself will get you killed. But you go on a winning streak you'll get teammates who speak Korean, Chinese, Spanish, and Russian. It's like some tower of Bibel or something. Teammates who will wonder off by themselves and constantly die over and over but blame everyone else, even though you can come to a rationale thought that since you don't see anyone on the map. They might be in the unwarded parts of our jungle? It doesn't make sense, it ruins games. It's clear that these people themselves don't play their own games because if they did, that shit would get instantly corrected because that would drive any sane person insane. I refer to it as the "No Child Left Behind" algorithm because that's what it is. I want to play and beat people of equal skill not an easy win or play and unwinnable.

But nonetheless, here it is a TL;DR of that message plus with added bonus things:
-I get to diamond in season 8 (If I remember correctly the season) and I had an 70-80% winrate in like 40-50 games or so.
-I instantly get 13-14 lp for no reason while being paired against higher elo players than me.
-I lose one game, I lose like 22 or 23 or 24 LP, a very rare instance was of a 25 LP but I won't focus on that.
-I have to try my hardest to win and I get teammates that are plat and diamond and we were up against Masters+ (and we still won)
*Here comes the bonus extra funny thing*
-Another game where I had to try hard for some reason, was due to a Master Tier Tristana as our ADC, whom would go jumping with W, Melee into a Jarvan.
-Tristana was level 6 had only 40% hp with no R available and little mana left, while her minions were attacking the turret and she was also 2/0, fresh out of a double kill with my assistance.
-Jarvan had full hp. I already typed and seriously heavily pinged that I am backing since I am low hp multiple times and I really mean MULTIPLE TIMES.
-Dies as expected like a FedEx Delivery to the J4 and blames me the jungler...??? XD
-We barely won that game and it was me who basically won it while our bot was making the game heavy as FK for no reason.

Exactly, it's completely rigged. In the beginning it will be fair and you will get decent teammates, once you go on a win streak you get clamped by the algorithm then you are forced to lose because they choose players that are known trolls, feeders, and afkers and they put them on your team vs an enemy team of decent players.
it is completely rigged and a waste of time, it is not an honest system. It is not based on skill. The only way to carry is to pick a 1v9 broken champ that snowballs off the planet in a solo lane (top,mid, jg) and get a few kills then take over the game. You will also have to be significantly better than the division you are in to have the mechanics and game knowledge to take over.

But here's the thing I'm level 200 and I just don't play ranked much. I mostly play ARAM. So I got to gold playing lux support last year then didn't play ranked for 6 months then I play maokai support and win like 80% of games in Silver so they put me in a smurf queue lmao like what I'm not even smurfing, I'm just trying to get to gold. It's not my fault I got good at playing maokai in fukin ARAMs. I had never played him in ranked so tried it out, doesn't mean I'm a smurf.
I noticed this too. Once I get on a win streak, they pair me with bad players and I can lose 10 games straight and waste all the LPs gained. Essentially life wasted and they want you to keep grinding and waste your life playing this game so they can make more money.

This is legit true, I had the same problem I quick tip: If you win more than 2 games you have to play flex only to lose if you lose on flex and only play winnable matches in solo/duo you can manipulate the matchmaking system. With this strat I won 9 games in a row I got greedy and played the 4th soloq game and instantly lost because of afk top and inter mid you have to be patient and lose the game in flexes. OR be absolute god and 1v9 carry every game but unless you are a challenger it is almost impossible. Edit: no it wont work with normal games your ranked win rate and kda is different than normal games.

I'm on a winning streak 1 tricking with 70% win rate over 50 matches. Yesterday, i won 2 matches in a row and earned 8 Lp each, lost 1 match and legit lost 22 points. I had to turn the game off at that point. Idk if I'm going to continue playing anymore.

Bro I come back to this annualy, did you see what bs they introduced with the new Objective Shutdown System? If you get your team ahead by gold (basically you performing well) the enemy team gets bonus gold by taking objectives. So not only you get a shutdown bounty but the towers, dragons, baron etc. all get a bounty. Imagine going 10 0 5 or something, it won't matter as much anymore because a lead can easily be evened out by this stupid shutdown system. If your team is trash it will be harder and harder to carry them. Now it's easier than ever for them to force your 50% winrate. I won 4 games in a row and had to dodge 2 games in a row because I kept getting 3 jungle mains on the same team.

They also have a hidden behavior score for each player, if you are toxic or make false reports they will match you more frequently with toxic players and trolls or if you're in a winstreak they will put you in the infamous losers queue with toxic players.
If you want to climb stop using chat, never type cause even one false or out of context report can lower your behavior score. Likewise, don't even bother reporting players even if it's legit cause if the system fails and find it no legit your user score gets hit, you also help Riot label throwers and trolls for their matchmaking. I played lol from season 1 (diamond 5 all seasons except s1 - gold), and before riot got flexible queue algoritm almost was fine. Most of games I played solo ranked queue. Flexible queue was not popular, but riot tested on it new matchmaking algoritms (1 year after they added that algoritms to all queues).
In seasons 1-5 matchmaking system (MM) has been based on "chess" fair algoritms. Yes, it was not perfect, sometime I had low skill player as teammate, sometime as opponent (boosted accs confused the MM system). But the MM system tried to make the player’s real skill (aka hidden elo, mmr) match to current elo (boosted accs fall down very fast with 10-30% winrate)
After season 5 riots realized - their commodity is "fun from victory/elo", so all players should have ~50% win rate (even deadbrain ruiners and boosted accs).
Now they have "commercial matchmaking". I tested a lot with that shit. This algoritms measures all players real skill data very well - not only kda: apm(actions per minute), ability to dominate if you fed, pressure, harass, smart pings, etc, and trying to "balance" teams to 50% winrate in history (not current game chances). If your winrate high and you can win even 3v7 game, you will play 2v8 games until you reach 50-60% wr, and you back to your 4v6 "normal" games after that. If you go rage and troll for 30 games, you will play like 9v1 with god team against bots.
The result of most games is predictable from the moment when you see the nicknames of your teammates in lobby (op.gg checks). Dodge games in lobby after op.gg checks is useless. If system want your loose - you will loose. No matter how many games you will dodge.
Players no longer affect their winrate (in most games). This game - all about commercial matchmaking algoritms now. And it dead for me.

Here in 2024, rigged as F. I had a 5 win streak, followed by a 5 lose streak, followed by another 5 wins. Then I kept climbing as normal until I got a 7 win streak and promoted to plat, easy, then, as soon as I promoted to plat, didn't change anything in my playstyle or in my mental, I get a 10 LOSES STREAK out of the blue! Every single game with tilted teammates on losing streaks, afks, trolls, and enemy teams with lvl30 smurfs every single game I kid you not, it's so blatantly obviously forced it's driving me insane, I'm done with this game, there's no fair match making AT ALL, every single win/lose streak is rigged and is extremely obvious.

You forgot to add that most streamers have losers queue disabled on their accounts. You watch their gameplay and their team is actually winning most of the time or at worse their team is like 2-5 in first 10 minutes. In your games? Your botlane is 1-10 at first 5 minutes and now they are coming to your lane to grief
And what is funny is that these spoiled streamers act like they are in losers queue meanwhile they are just getting normal games. They start complaining and flaming their jungler when he is not baby sitting their lane because they are so used to getting junglers carry them. When I first started playing League I was actually hovering around high Plat as completely new player with only experience being in Dota 2 but as low elo player. I'm now at least 800% better than when I was starting out but my rank is now Gold.
Explain how is that possible? How is it possible that I was beating Plat players as a completely new player and was even laughing at how bad league players are but now I am hardstuck Gold who can't even carry games in Silver on another account? I think it is pretty clear that if you don't buy skins or get banned for toxicity even if you were not toxic your teammates will be feeding majority of games

I revisit this video everytime I go on a massive losing streak lol. I stop playing for a couple weeks and the clamp has suddenly been released. No I did not suddenly get better, no I was not suffering from tilt, I just stopped getting shitters in my team in back to back games. Seriously I don't see why going 0/16/2 as a top laner isn't a punishable offence. There should be a contribution score or something that players must meet to get the maximum lp from a win and to prevent losing extra LP from a loss. That would give bad players incentive to try their best if they start to feed .

I have the same issue. On 3 seperate accounts, when I get to gold 2 75+ and gold 1 85+ lp I start getting a massive losing streak, intermittently. Go on losing streaks anywhere from 4-6 games and win 1-2, despite having a 53% win rate and 58% on my otp fizz. That figure started to drop and it's now 51% and 56%, respectively. Not only that, it only happens when my mmr is higher than average and only resolves after I've lost 2-3 ranks. Keep getting teams who either just throw, feed or put against teams who are smurfing / better stats. This has to be rigged for it to happen to me on 3 seperate accounts, in similar fashions. I did think 'maybe this is just my skill level' but it doesn't explain my rank dropping so drastically. It can't be tilt, because this happened over several (over 30) games on each account. I just got a penta kill, then went on a 5 game losing spree. It's a bit strange getting rated an S for my gameplay, but lose my rank lmao. Lose the game when i got first blood, first turret, had multi kills, best farm, roamed, got drags, had a kda of 3+, but those 2 or 3 idiots, sometimes 4, all had a below 1 kda, fed their lanes, cant communicate, either flame, troll or play something stupidly out meta or dont think about the team comp. But i gotta suffer these fucks and the consequences when they dont care as much. what a fucking joke

Can confirm this is true. 2021. Played ranked seriously for the first time ever, in 8 years playing League. I had played like 10-20 ranked games before, sticking mostly to normals.
Anyway, I climbed from Bronze 2 to Gold IV in a month. Several win streaks of 10 games or so. Even in gold, I kept winning for a long while. Then, suddenly, as my winrate hits 67% with over 100 games, and I approach the Gold III promo, something changed, now I'm getting loss streaks of 10 games in a row. Constant AFKs, constant feeders, teams where I am expected to carry 4 people with 38%, 40% winrates.
I repeat, this did not happen before. How is it possible that I had better teammates while in Bronze or Silver (Getting paired up with people with 49-51% winrates or so) than now that I am gold and getting matched with 34% winrate people? How is it possible I had no trouble beating people in Gold III when I was in Silver I but now I can't stop losing against Silvers? Because my team is now dogshit in every game and the matchmaking is rigged that's how. AFK or feeder in every single fucking game.
It's fucking rigged. There's a cap on how much winrate you are allowed to get, or how much you are allowed to climb. Past a certain point the game expects you to get stuck unless you are a literal god that can carry 3 people with 30-40% winrates and an afk to victory.
After 8 years of playing league I am thinking of uninstalling. I would have done it earlier if I knew the ranked experience was so fucking disgusting. There's a reason the matchmaking formula is hidden. Fuck riot.

I was a masters level statecraft 2 player. Account name Battletoads. Check it. I've been playing for six years. I've never been able to get out of silver. I've had nine permabans. I have spent so much money. The last time they permabanned me was because I defended myself when my jungle straight inted and my adc straight inted. All the toxic island trash of my team came down on my head and as I tried to explain myself I tilted and blew up. Well it turns out, every time they perma me, I make a new account, I buy skins and champs, make them money, get hard stuck because of a broken algerithm, tilt, get permabanned, rinse and repeat. They have been using me for money. For six years. I picked up statecraft 2 again after years of not playing and went right back to platinum. Which is where I belong now. No questions asked, I watch my replays and see exactly what I'm doing wrong and what I can do to climb again. That is not possible in lol. Riot and its defenders will say, "there's so many factors", "you have to carry harder", "it just seems like more losses because your emotional", "you're bad because you don't know why you're actually bad". All of these are hidding the truth that there is an algorithm in place to force people down and hand select certain people to move up. Don't believe me? Try spending 10 dollars on one account and 1000 dollars on your next. Don't talk to anyone. Dont use the same IP address. Quantify your teammates over 50 games on each. The one you spent money on will go up higher in rank. If I'm wrong I hope the universe fucking destroys me. Remember. No team equal mmr I was a masters level statecraft 2 player (the national sport of South Korea for 17 years running). I feel you dude. When I see some players at certain rank it is almost like insult that they are same rank (support mains with 0 warding knowledge for eample). I have many accounts from mid silver to plat 4. Honestly nowadays i don't see any difference in skill between them. Even CS are the same 2 leagues higher. I see sometime 3cs/min mid in plat (usually my teammate ofc). I mained many champs, mostly adc and mids. About year ago when u could see MMR on opgg i convinced myself that u can't climb until you abuse few champs (tryndamere, yi, jax) or OP duos (twitch/lulu, draven/leona, jarvan/talon for example). I was maining katarina while she was really good pick. I had many, many games when i carried with her. I even had a screen where I had average 11 kda for 30 matches and plat 1 mmr while being in gold 1. After that i couldn't win one game for ages. I was camped by enemy jungler who was almost always premade with my mid + almost always counterpicked and someone from this duo was always a smurf, morevoer 2 other lanes were still losing ( without jungler) and my jungler was behind in cs (its almost impossible when he was farming like 2x time more than enemy jg). After that i mained many champs and it was same fucking story, like the author of movie - at certain ELO matchmaking prevents u from winning. I had weird times like for example 15 straight losses with jinx. Recently I made new acc, when I played only sivir and caitlyn. It's funny that I have like 45% winrate despite almost 5 kda (9/4/9). It's funny because I had like 80% of games MVP or ACE according to opgg score system, but that's not enough i think. Until you play some shit that has damage, mobility, outplay/cc and survivibility in its kit then u cant solo carry, because u are dependent on teammates.

This is still true in season 11. Comparatively, in other games with a ranking system I easily achieved higher rankings with much less time spent in other games (plat in overwatch, plat in MTG Arena, Gold in Street Fighter 5, maybe 200ish hours on each) and yet I can't get out of bronze in League, a game I played for 10 years. It's pretty obvious they want to force 50% to keep you 'emotionally invested' and spend more time and thus more money. No thanks, I'll be sticking with other games that have actual fair systems.

I started playing ranked again and I noticed the momment I hit silv 1 the game pairs the enemy team with plays diamonds and sometimes even fkn masters.
In normals where I get paired with golds I almost always get a mediocre or positive score scaling into the late and dominating from that point on. The momment I play ranked boom 2/16. Just came from a game against an Aaotrox Diamond 1 100 lp in fkn silver game. He wasn't even smurfing, he was downright put into the enemy team.
I couldn't agree more. I am average, but I keep getting placed with people who go like 3/11/2 x 3 teammates, and I am like 4/6/4 (on account of teammates feeding and putting me in a hopeless position). It is IMPOSSIBLE to rank up. And people are quick to say "It must be you". When it is overtly evident that the teams are stacked. I say it all the time and people just tell me to get better. I know for a fact (even without evidence) that the matches are rigged against me, and in other games against others. Every single fucking game is a shit storm of talent, usually ending 40 kills to 10.

@@Manyux well i try to improve, but guess wot, do you think i let my mental healt go down hill just because i want to play that game? well yes but actualyl no. thing is i got myself a coach, and in the first session i tryhaeded so fking bad, he asked me if i was trolling him bc i cant be silver like how good im playing. sure with more sessions he saw that i wasnt trolling and that i sucked i nsome placec, even tho i made so many drag steals he called me broxha faw times(i know its prob just to boost my mental but still) i learned more but tbh i learned a lot off stuff that only work if youre team mates do there job, like winning a winning matchup or losing a losing match up. and you know how many times i had a winning matchup losing? even after ganking him time again and he still lost? like a renekton losin gagains kayle and shit? in lane? you know how depressing it is tryharding, getting all ebjectives ganking, and then in the end there is e feed hyper carry on enemy team bc my bot or mid intet the hell out of someone i did not have any controll over? i agree my mindset got worst with the years i played bc the matchmaking sucks. its not only that i played in plat mmr whilst in gold, duoqued with plats thet said to me i would make it to play for sure in the next week and shit, just to go on a losing streak to gold 4 and bveing hardstuc kthere since, i get bronze 2 mates in almost evry game, ppl are inting like shit and i cant carry all games. im not challancher! and you might say that i should be able to carry bronz 2 players well guess what, my cait yuumi lane lost agains a jinx pyke lane, and cait got autfarmed like hell, jinx had twice her cs at mind 12. and that was just the last game i had a broze 2 in my games before, and i will also countinue to play with such ppl, and you have to consider my winrate was hight wenn i got to gold and almost to gold 3 thsi saisson, but now its still positiv but still why are bronze ppl or unranked ppl always matching with me? well im sure you dont got an explanaton for that bc my mmr is never donw there after one losing streak or the system is broken anyways.!
I started 1 week ago...not even talking about ranked...the blind matches (even tho Ik they are just blind and random) ...my team.. everyone lvl 30 below and are new... enemy team...all mastery 7 lvl 150 players who makes us tf in 15 mins...before this shit started I was winning 80% of my matches when I was matched around same level of players....but no...riot wants me to lose

I know I'm not a perfect player, but if I go through my op.gg with their new (Ace/MVP) system, I literally have like 6 game winstreak mvp followed by like 10 games "ACE, ACE, ACE, ACE" being the mvp of the losing team over and over with 4 accompanying players determined to lose at all costs

The exact scheme happened 8 times already this season. I win, then i loose hard. Its so fucking rigged. They make u win, so u play the game. Tomorrow i will win again, since they want me to keep playing.

I completely agree with this. I was d1 from season 2-4 and stopped playing for a few years after that. When I play now, I'm able to go like 15-0 in ranked, but when I reach platinum, games become unwinnable, and I'm not able to clim further. You can literally not win these games unless you abuse something extremely broken and/or duo with someone and use a boosting strategies. I'm not even making this up. If you play 100% neutral for 10 games in a row, let's say you play toplane and go 0-0, you will lose every single one of these games. I'm not even making up excuses here, there literally is something fishy with this matchmaking system. Why are there people in platinum and diamond with terrible, negative win ratios? You can be 20-0, while someone who's the same rank as you are 30-50. Why do you need so many fu cking wins to climb, it didnt use to be like that. When I played ranked a couple of years ago, it would take some time to grind your way out of let's say platinum, because you would be matced with terrible people occasionally, but eventually you would be able to grind your way out. That does not happen anymore. You just keep getting matched with boosted trash that cannot be carried unless you have challenger-tier mechanics or something. Boosted accounts are an epidemic, look at all the elo-boosting sites that have popped up. Don't you think this would have a huge impact on the game? This game has become so frustrating and disgusting.

i was promo gold to plat and i lose my 3 games for no reason i was snowballing my lane and try to roam and helping my jung for drakes , i was focussing on teamwork not to be the only carry and it didn't work sadly , i was very mad after these 3 games, i was tryharding asf. i hope they will fix matchmaking and this game will be balanced!
They wont , your purpose is to keep playing with the Illusion of being bad ( force loose) so you try to get Better and keep loosing after a winning Streak (Illusion of being good ) so you think that you need new Strats or try even Harder and the cicle continues only Lück matters at this Point nothing else

They are trying to force and artificial 48%-52% winrate so everyone has a chance, so they think but they are wrong. Just because someone bought their account in gold/plat without even playing the game before doesn't mean they should also have a ~50% winrate. I personally have a 45% winrate after deranking from gold 2 to gold 4 because i passed a 60% winrate, and i still have it on Illaoi. They deranked me 2 ranks and gave me the worst teammates in the world because i had a very high win rate, but i have never gotten bad teams in promos wich is surprising, always when i am in my promos i get 49%+ winrate players on their main role so at least that. I've experienced the same thing in Diamond and Platinum. Only happens when I get 5+ winning streaks. Might be people boosting or really just Riot fucking with the matchmaking. It's too much to just be coincidence.
Logically speaking, if you REALLY get that free 10 extra LP when you win, and yet only -15LP when you lose, Something doesn't add up. If you win and the enemy team loses, the enemy team gets -15, you guys get +25. You can't have an entropic system where everyone gains LP, or else everyone will eventually make it to rank 1. Just like Capitalism, you cannot profit if noone takes a loss.
Someone along the line has to tank the hidden catch of the MMR system. Something along the lines of rigging the promos of players to keep them in their elos to prevent them from hard climbing. While this does improve the reward for effort, this also highly discourages all but the highest skilled and the most dishonorable players to climb using broken champs and broken mechanics instead of winning due to skill alone. Like, you see that every champ is balanced about the 50% win rate line, but they aren't. Some are decidedly more overpowered than others, indeed able to 1v5 in every game if they don't get counterpicked, or even if they're losing 10 kills down. These winrate stats are manipulated to say the very least.
