I so appreciate you showing all the steps, if someone doesn't want to watch they can always fast forward through. You make quilting look easy. I would really like to see some of your finished quilts after they have been quilted. Thanks for your videos.
Thank you for your encouragement! I pretty much ignore the ney-sayers. You can’t please everyone and I try to always gear things for beginners. It’s often the experienced sewers that get impatient but there are plenty of channels for them if they don’t like mine.
I love this pattern and you explain it quite well..thank you for the free download too..Im in the middle of finishing my irish chain quilt but cant wait to start this one..
Thank you for making the instructions for this beautiful quilt so easy to follow. It helped so much. I can't wait to try this one out. Thank you for sharing your talents with us!
❤❤❤❤❤ FINALLY, a design I’ve been searching for! I’ve been collecting shades of turquoise, aqua, and teal for a while with the intent of making a bed spread. I think this quilt pattern would show them off beautifully! Thank you so much for taking the time to make the quilt and filming it for us. I’m a newbie subscriber just because of this pattern. 😊
This quilt top was only 60-inches X 60-inches before adding the borders. That's 5 feet by 5 feet. I don't think that it would fit a twin bed lengthwise. Maybe the free pattern would have instructions for bed size quilts... I didn't check, sorry 😐.
Thank you both for replying. Yes, I’m aware that as written this would not work for a bedspread. I have plenty of fabric, and so I will just make a lot more blocks. 😂 Double?? 😳 But first I have quite a few UFOs to finish. 😮 Can you give me the dimensions for one block? That would help me determine about how many I will need. One problem: I can’t get the free pattern to upload. Any suggestions?
❤ I did a Google search and found a video at Missouri Star Quilt Company for this cathedral quilt as well, so you’re in good company! The block size is 9 inches unfinished and 8 1/2 inches finished. I can do the basic math to figure out how many blocks I will need. Thanks again for helping me find my “dream pattern.” 😊
I personally enjoyed hearing you explain this quilt even though I’m not a beginner. I’m always telling someone how to do something and finding something newbie’s can do. New subscriber. Keep up the good work. Have a great day and God bless.
Stunning . I was thinking about doing this quilt but thought it may just a bit out of my skills . I really love the colours you used . I really should give it ago . Thank you
I’ve seen photos of quilts like this a few times and really like them. Really impressed with your one. Don’t know if I’d have the patience to make one as big as yours. Beautiful colours!!!
This is stunning! Instead of a crystal chandelier, it looks like one made of stained glass! Brilliant! Thanks so much for sharing, including the download. New subbie here!
I love this so much. Our guild did a class day doing this quilt. I got sick after & haven't finished but I'm using Tula Pink fabric. I love the paisley
Love this quilt done using batiks. And definitely looking forward to the coffee quilt. I’m a tea drinker but hubby is the coffee lover. (I like coffee ice cream and he won’t touch it!). He’d love having a coffee teamed quilt.
Hello just came across this channel and Thank you for the explicit instructions which makes this seem so doable. Oh I’m an Aunt Debbie as well from Ontario Canada.
I’ve made this quilt awhile back I used Lella Boutique by moda called Love Notes. Super fun quilt to make. I would very much like to make it again. This paisley is beautiful and makes a beautiful quilt! Thanks for the video❤️
I love the finished look of this quilt. Have to go shopping then watch you again. I will need to figure out for a queen size I think. You didn't mention size yet. Thank you.
You can probably google free chandelier quilt patterns and find the yardage and number of blocks for the size you want. The one I linked is only one size and is 60” X 60”.
I really like this pattern & i have a stack of paisley 4" squares. I might just have to make a smaller version of Chandalier! Also, just want to mention Donna Jordan has basically the same pattern named "Beads". Instead of cutting individual squares she strip pieces 5" w/ background & 2.5" w/ background which could save some time piecing the quilt when using FQs or yardage. My squares are pre-cut from a large lot of fabric purchased from a retiring quilter, so no strip piecing for me. Hope my paisleys coordinate well enough!
Donna Jordan is my hero. I have learned so much from her! I think she’s one of the best teachers on TH-cam! I obviously haven’t seen the Beads video but if you are using yardage, strip piecing would be a great idea. I never thought of that!
Hi, new subscriber and also new to quilting. Loved this quilt pattern. It turned out beautifully. Enjoyed watching you sew and you explaining things simply. ❤
Thank l you, from Alabama, for a great tutorial. I hear if you take a picture wirh a cell phone before sewing together, it s a lot easier to spot a mistake.
Beautiful quilt thank you for sharing. I’m new to your channel. I have been watching a couple of your videos. It’s not nice to not support you if I keep coming back and watching your videos. God bless you and your family have a blessed evening.
My iron runs out of water quite often. I tend to always have a bottle of water nearby (refillable) and I use that to drink and refill my iron with instead of unplugging and bringing the iron to the sink.
Our water here is so hard that it ruins irons (and water heaters & pipes, etc) so I use distilled water. I usually keep a gallon under my table but I let it run out without replacing it. I had to stop and go find another in the pantry. They certainly are thirsty critters!
I’m sorry. No one has been able to get the link to work so I posted it on my Community page. If you go to my channel, it’s about the third post down. I don’t know what the problem is with the link.
Before spending 30+ minutes watching you make this block, I would have liked to see a complete block first. Maybe this is not one I would like to work on! Identify the pieces, put one together, and show me the completed block. Please.
@@auntdebbiesboutique1223 this is not a criticism, but a teaching suggestion! I had no idea what a chandelier quilt was. I would not find out until the very end. I had to fast-forward through everything so I could see where you were going with all the sewing.
I think it would be better not to make the viewer watch the whole process of piecing and other repetitive actions like the ironing cutting apart etc,it’s very tedious and could stop someone watching thru to the end of the video which 8 believe is how you tube algorithms work. I do love the quilt and could well try it.
I’m sorry you feel that way. I gear my videos to beginners and have taught in person sewing for years. You can always skip through the parts you don’t want to watch. I’m more concerned with teaching than algorithms.
We don't need to see you sew every seam, cutting apart and 🎉 pressing on every piece. Show a few to have us get the idea and go on. Showing each step one or two times is enough. Otherwise you are wasting our time and it made me want to stop watching your video
I really like the colors and layout. Thank you.
Thank you! Love your profile picture!
Thank you for your tutorial ♥️

Beautiful colors. You made it look very easy and I am going to try it. I will download the pattern. Thank you very much.

So, so beautiful. What a lovely quilt! Thank you for the time and inspiration you put into this project!
You are so welcome!
So beautiful! I think I will make it with Kaffe fabrics!
That would be beautiful-I thought about doing that and using a black background. His fabrics just pop on black.
I love this pattern and you explain it quite well..thank you for the free download too..Im in the middle of finishing my irish chain quilt but cant wait to start this one..
Wonderful! I might have to do an Irish chain quilt tutorial too. I’ve never made one but I love the way they look!
I think paisley’s are my favorite prints.
They work so well in this quilt because they are showcased by themselves.
The colors are gorgeous! Your instructions are very good to follow along. This quilt is so beautiful! ❤

I love the chandelier quilt. Beautiful colors and it would also be beautiful with the same fabric and a black background😅 great job!
Yes it would. I thought about doing black background and some Kaffe Fasset bright blocks too.
@@auntdebbiesboutique1223 that would be very pretty as well👍
I love this quilt pattern. Thank you for showing us!

Beautiful job! Wow! I wish we could see it all finished with the borders and quilting. It's just gorgeous! AMEN!

I loved your video but couldn’t get the pattern link to work. I’m a south Texas girl myself, New Braunfels
I’m sorry. No one has been able to get the link to work so I posted it on my Community page. If you go to my channel, it’s about the third post down. I don’t know what the problem is with the link.
I tried to make this quilt a couple months ago, It was a complete failure. I got the blocks made, but couldn’t line them up with the triangles.
Were the blocks all the same size? Did you match the rows up diagonally? I wish I could help you line them up.
Can you type name of the paisley quilt fabric you used I can’t seem to find it thank you
It was a fat quarter bundle from Benartex called Paisley Prints. I’ve had it for a year or two but hopefully it’s still available.
Did we really need to see every single joining of pieces?
Some people do and I teach for beginners! You’d be surprised at the power of repetition. I’ve been teaching sewing for years
What type of iron do you have? It sounds like it gives lots of steam
It’s a Rowena Professional Pro and it has its own water tank attached with a cord. It’s a great iron!
I will have to start looking for one. Thank you for a great video and i will definitely be making a chandelier quilt soon
Pattern link won’t work
I’m sorry. Go to my community page. I also posted it there.
Are the 7 1/2" or 7" pieces
7”. Sorry if I said 7 1/2 somewhere. My head and mouth aren’t always working together!
The link for the pattern doesn't work.
I will look into it

Fast forward I think they call it
Was that a chicken?!?
No chickens. Sorry. There were neighbor kids playing outside squealing and I have a Yorkie that was in & out of the video, sometimes making noise.
@auntdebbiesboutique1223 lol a chicken would've been trés awesome. Love to wach you sew btw. Great asmr
