Do you used acetone (or alcohol) to wipe between the layers? And if yes, how offen? I think it will become dull, do you know what to do? This is so beautiful!
i have seen people recommend to use acetone before, did you do this before or after? it looks amazing btw i'm planning to do my first and i'm so nervous to mess it up! i hope it looks as good as yours!
Aww thank you so much! so I used acetone before I dyed anything. I thought by using the acetone it would remove any marks, but when i "scrubbed" i ended up pulling the leather up and it almost began to flake off. So before I started the project ( a few days later when my leather dye finally came in) I lightly swiped over the bag and this just made it matte. Then went on to dye the bag. GOOD LUCK!
@@MiamEggTart it turned out great! it was not perfect but it looks very good. the only issue i had was i did not seal it because i read it can ruin the sheen, and if you wipe it with a damp towel or any liquid for that matter it will rub off.. so keep that in mind lol.
Hi so you only used the paint, stick & cotton balls?
Did you use acetone to deglaze it first?
is it the same paint for leather bag?
hello what did you use to paint the bag
Do you know the name of this bag? It turned out great
Mott
Hi did you add any polish after you dyed it. to keep the shine on and from peeling maybe. lf yes, whats the name please
No I didn’t add any polish. I just stained the bag and that’s it. ✨
