There's also a learning here for us all....that there a good photos to be made no matter what...you just need to really see with different eyes and exercise a little creativity. Love your final images.

Wow, the first two images are my favourites. To my imagination these are the faces of ancient warrior Vikings! But others will see different things. They are works of art and I hope they get onto some walls. Thanks for taking us with you on this walk.

The faces appeared after when I studied the images in more detail on the larger screen, but I could see the chosen settings were creating patterns that I liked. I processed them in such a way that you are drawn to them.
Hey Simon - you poor bugger. Its dreadful enough that we try and take photos out in the rain, but vlogging in that is doubly hard. I got conditions like that in Torridon recently but didnt have the good sense to stop... i carried on LOL, Lovely to see you out each week and persisting no matter what the gods throw at you. I'm waiting for somebody to invent a personal force field generator that keep us (and our equipment) dry when on location. I had the same experience this week. Well done for getting something out of the trip.
For these sorts of rainy conditions, I keep some disposable shower caps in my camera pack. When the first drops hit and I plan to remain outside, I just open one and drape it over the camera.

It was such a frustrating day. It was starting to get to ne in the end. I've since got a waterproof video option so watch this space.
