    Jesus was showing a example of good leadership. Great leaders must show they can be great servents.

    This lesson teaches that you should never think that you are too good to serve someone who has been less fortunate than you.

    I think when he took off his towel or garment It symbolize him laying his divinity down he washed (dieing on the cross) then picked back up the divinity or garment and (covered )and dry there feet leaving them righteous ( in right standing with god). This is soooooo amazing to understand!!!!

    “You Do NOT ‘UNDERSTAND’ What I’m Doing right now,
    But you WILL Know hereafter.”

    “IF I Wash thee ‘NOT’ (???),
    Thou hast ‘NO’ part with ME !!!”
    ~ JESUS CHRIST ~
    (St John 13:8)

    “That He might ‘Sanctify’ (Set Apart/Make Holy)
    And ‘Cleanse’ us with the washing of water by The ‘W-O-R-D’.”

    NO Living 'WORD/JESUS', Means NO 'Sanctification' and NO 'Salvation' !!!
    ~~~
    :o
    ~~~
    (OF COURSE they all 'Understood' that JESUS Their MASTER was 'washing their feet' !!!)
    ~~~
    :)
    ~~~
    But DID they UNDERSTAND About Being 'Washed' By The Living WORD/JESUS ???
    ~~~
    (NO !!! And Most 'Still' Don't UNDERSTAND 'Today' !!!)
    And Jesus washed Judas' feet. Im here because of the Superbowl commercial. Im considering the commercial....and potential good and bad takeaways from it.
      The main point is that "feet washing" is NOT a representation of the gospel of Jesus Christ ... as though we are to accept our neighbor for their Sinful condition ... like everybody should just get along and hope for the best ... I'm OK, you're OK. True LOVE means you share the gospel of Salvation from SIN in Jesus Christ and proclaim the POWER of Jesus to overcome SIN.
      This is a twisted misrepresentation of who Jesus was ... He didn't wash the feet of the Scribes and Pharisees... And He turned over the tables of the money changers and chased them OUT of the Temple courtyard with a WHIP ... Where is the commercial to be like Jesus? The He gets us website doesn't present the gospel message of Jesus Christ for Salvation from SIN but it presents examples of how Jesus went around Loving everybody ... He was a "good man" and His mission was to teach us how to be "good" like Him.
      The campaign exists to remind us of the example that Jesus set while inviting all to explore his teachings so we can all follow his example of confounding, unconditional love. Because He Gets Us. All of Us.
      Jesus didn't come to make bad people good or good people better but to make DEAD people ALIVE!
      Unbelievers on "X" are mocking the commercial... Jesus is a confirmed "foot freak" ... By and large, though, the internet was really confused by the whole thing. B R E I T B A R T had an article on it and some interesting thoughts there too.
    Why did Jesus wash disciples' feet? Not other bodies, for instance hands or face?
      Because feet are dirty, and by washing the feet Jesus showed humility doing the work the lowest servants would normally do.
      To teach us that we should be humble. Even he is the master, lord he washed their feet, and did not act like king, for he is humble. We shall wash one another's feet to show the humbleness. For those will be humbled who praise himself, but those will be praised who humble himself.
    Salvation is definitely not a one time justification by faith. Anyone who reads the Bible can see many Christians who were at risk of not going to heaven because they let go of the plow. Ex: the widows who wax wanton against Christ and receive to themselves damnnation because they cast off their first faith. This verse alone calls you out as a false teacher. You read but you can’t see
