    💦👣Lesson Notes:
Here are the instructions for this lesson so you can reproduce it for your kids or class.
    Materials:
-Your Bible bookmarked to John 13:1-17
    -Paint
    -Paint brush
-Paper plate, to hold the paint
    -White paper
-Wash tub filled with warm soapy water
    -towel for drying feet
-maybe lay down a piece of plastic on the ground or do this activity outside.
    Directions:
    -Begin by reading John 13:1-17
-Explain what Jesus was doing, how He humbled Himself to teach His disciples an important lesson about Loving and serving others.
-Make special emphesis on doing the dirty or low jobs. The one that no one else wants to do to put others first.
    -Make the footprint keepsake
-Paint with a brush, or have your kids step in the paint
-Place their foot on the paper and press it down (ask them to keep still).
-wash their foot and talk about what it means
    -repeat with the other foot.
-as you wash their feet, come up with some ideas on what it means to wash feet in today's culture.
-once the paint dries, write "Help me to Love and Serve like Jesus" on the keepsake. Remind kids that we can't be more like Jesus unless He helps us to be more like Him.
-Ask the questions from the lesson and get your class to engage by responding to what they learned. Particularly, that they would be able to apply these truths to their lives.
All Scriptures were taken out to the NLT (New Living Translation) of the Bible.
