Just realized this past wknd my zee power that has been sitting dead for like 8 months or more and sat before fully charged way way too long in a mix up. Charged rite up literally perfect balance per cell. Its not the hi voltage just reg 3s 80c 5200mah. I will def be using zee bats as long as they dont change material etc. and ive been running it in a system that really puts it to them. Gonna have to get a SMC now too. Only zee power i had but im buying more. Gotta say a gold bat 2s is another one that is awesome. The most expensive bat is a venom 3s. 5000mah It was degrading like 3 months in to use. Ya never kno.

Glad to have you back. The balance checkers I sent you has a voltage alarm on it. I set mine for storage voltage and have it in my plane or boat. You'll hear it go off. Great video too. Think I'm sold on the smc batteries. I'll have to try them out for this next UL19 build

Boats are the reason I use SMC almost exclusively. I puffed everything until I dropped in a set of SMC batteries and haven't looked back. I also use a couple sets of VENOM (r.i.p.) but not in the super fast boats.
I believe I know exactly where that spot is. I never knew we could drive our boats there lol. Would definitely come out and drive with you one day lol. I love the SMC packs by the way.

Man these smc packs are great! My pb with the ul was 66mph with zee 6000 120c’s and just took it out today and hit 75mph with smc 7600 150c’s. I can’t believe that just a lipo change can gain 9mph. Running a 4082 2k leopard with 150 raider and a .187 flex cable

The second water pickup makes a world of difference, it's almost mandatory, the easiest way is to buy a dual pick up rudder blade from ose drill a pilot hole then step up the drill bit size incrementally till its fits your cooling line perfectly. Good luck
Big B. I have a ul 19 and running stock electronics. I was using 8000 3s lipos to make 6s. Now for some reason the boat acclerates by itself. Without holding the remote at all. would know why? And what can I do to potentially fix this? The lipos were Gens ace bashing lipos.
i would pay 3 times as much as the zee for the smc. those results are crazy different. lets not forget your voltages were the same after running the smc for almost a full minute longer
Rc TH-camr Sam Hallstrom just tried some 2x 3s 175c max amp 5200 in his 33 fe rigger with about 16 Celsius ambient and still saw improvement over his Spektrum g2’s mind you they were over a year possibly 18 months old.never the less a PB of 88 mph with the max amps. (In the cold)l ike the SMC’s they are not cheap. Another TH-camr Paul Cooper in New Zealand has had great speed out of the 130 c GNB from AliExpress seams to be a good cheapie not many MAH choices though. Just some food for thought.
Definitaly a confirmation from a thing i noticed this summer. Got more mph from 5000/65c packs than 6500/60c (well known brand).. Weight wasn't the thing so i asumed it was because 6500's were older. Runtime was a bit longer from 6500's, but that was a minute or so. Good to know, better invest in good quality lipo's... You can only find those things out by these comparisons....!

I run my Outcast 8S on 6200mah 80C Zee batteries. The standard blue hard case, non prem. They have been running really good for me. I have some oovoo 7200mah 120C and the 6200 80C Zee actually seem to have a good bit more punch. Might try some Ovonic next but so far my Zee have been awesome for some skatepark bashing for me!

So you compared a battery that was twice the price and higher c rating and you act surprised it beat the cheap one. Huh ok so I wonder if you spend the same money and run 4 zeee battery's at 8s what the results would be.
Its still almost Anecdotal. Needs more batteries in the trials. You can only tell with checking against more batteries. They all are coming from the same twi factories in CHINA. HAHA. Ive seen the exact test go the opposite way . JS

I would love to see the voltage drop on a given draw on both. That would tell a bigger story seeing that the SMC is 135c vs the Zee at 120c

I was thinking of buying a 2000kv motor along with a 200 amp etc from oxidean marine and was wondering if it could handle those 8000 lipos.
I'd go with the 1650kv with the 200a oxidean for the ul19. That's a good setup 👌 80 knots and smoke!
You were also able to get around another 1 min run time from the SMC’s. Pitty the SMC lineup is not available in Australia?!

Yes sir, that's one of the reasons I made the video. You'll get longer run time with the stock electronics than I did with the upgraded electronics.

Results would be SMc is far better and Zee is cheap for a reason
