It was not only the crowd it was the Israeli team itself too. They were screaming "one more", when Radwanska hit a double-fault. It has nothing to do with antisemitism. It was not her best day + the crowd + the Israeli team. Besides she didn't made anything wrong, yes she was a little bitchy, but she's a woman. And everyone knows that it can be just a little to make a woman angry.

There were not too many negative comments to Melikson to play for the national polish team, there were also lots of supporting comments (including mine but more as a protest act for not being invited for the Israel team) from the other hand I was pretty shocked (or not) to see a whole crowd of a polish team against Israeli one waving a flag that covered the whole stadium wit the writtting of Jihad, now what are comments to Melikson and the flag...think about it

I watched the entire tie. The crowed preferred Israel, but it wasn't hostile toward the Polish players at all. Throughout the singles, Radwanska was completely calm. But throughout the doubles, when she played with her sister she was not calm at all. It seemed as this something was her sister. There was almost no communication between them. They didn't cheer each other as most doubles do, rarely communicated between the points, and at some points were even angry between them.
in her singles match against shahar peer shahar injured her ankle and took a medical timeout and she seemed pretty pissed (i guees that reminds her the match against vika in doha 2012 semifinal...) also, during the doubles match, in the 3rd set the israeli crowd cheard after a netcord.... just once! it was an important point but steal she has no excuse for the way she behaved afterward, in the rest of the match. this fed cup tournament in eilat was great. very high-level event!!!

@fmlluver49 I believe inquired Poles didn't say they are anti-semitic themselves, but admitted there is an issue with anti-semitism in Poland (a fact many would like to hide). But it's totally untrue, that 48% of Poles are anti-semitic. It's more like 10-15% (still a large part of society, but they are mostly far-right and their number is constantly descending).
