Swiatek is important in Poland, because she lets folks there know that they can not only be successful in world sports but dominant (like Robert Lewandowski, Kamil Stoch and Joanna Jędrzejczyk in their respective sports). It's important for any nationality/group to ask themselves, why not us? Why can't we be the best and reap the rewards that come with it? Swiatek is answering that and will continue to do so IMO.
I had picked her out as the coming dominant player before her 2020 grand slam. Her form is flawless and she is the hardest hitter on the women's circuit. She controls the corners of the court. Her recent 6-2 6-2 final victory over Sabelenka in Stuttgart was proof, if any is needed, that she now has no rival.
At such a young age to achieve so much. None of this just happens. It is obvious to me that she has an ability that very few players have. Like all players she has a game plan but with Iga she is able to tweak her game plan to her advantage. I believe she is one of the smartest tennis players I have ever seen. It is difficult to teach "smart". I think her future will be terrific. Wishing her all the best. I rarely have favorites, but I do now.
Her Matches are on a different level! I just watched the highlights against Emma, and you can notice that they are in two different leagues of talent, or at least that's what it looked like today

Emma was studying and sat for her A-Level, (which she aced btw), not played competitive for several months prior, but miracle of miracle won the GS US Open. So to compare, to say Iga on different league is just.. meh..! And 6-4; 6-4 is fair score, no bagle, no breadstick there. Just praise Iga for her winning streaks and let's not go there (with Emma).
@@bahardin3992 lol Iga played like maybe 5 tournaments in 2020 because she had exams in school she was graduating, in 2019 she had to play qualifying to get to some tournaments, she never got a WC, 2021 was her first full year on WTA so get your facts straight

Iga is still very young, but when I watch her play it feels a little bit like watching Federer playing, becouse her game seems to be "easy" (I realize it only looks easy) and her technique is nearly flawless. So watching Iga playing, even very hard matches, doesnt make me nervous or anything, becouse I just feel it's gonna be all right, one way or another. It's like watching Federer.
besides her speed and accurate physical-control, i find greatest asset is her not getting caught/stuck emotionally. She is a very come & fierce- warrior.emotionally the most Balanced female player today. (as was Barty, that retired so early)
