【GENESIS】 Last Battle Speedrun-Try01 ■

I tried the "Last Battle" Speedrun.
Unlike TASuperPlay, it is difficult.
First of all, the world rankers cut it down to 16 minutes... I guess I still have a long way to go... This is my first challenge.

This is “Fist of The North Star.” The version I played had no blood effects and was called “Last Battle” (living in the USA at time of playing it, decades ago).
Regardless, both games were bull-crap levels of hard due to being on a timer, infinite spawns, and slow player character movement. You WERE going to get hit no matter what.
To make matters worse, a brutally punishing entire game restart if you died. I had to resort to using a Game Genie/ Pelican cheats to beat it, many years later.
This game should have cane with a warning for children, because no kid I knew that had this game ever got beyond several levels before dying and thus having to start all over. It took many of us a lot of time to figure out that in order to remove the last bit of enemy boss life, one had to just use a normal, standing straight punch. Many of thought our games were bugged for hours, as we kept landing blows to what we thought was an infinite low health enemy 😂

Actually managed to finish this once or twice as a kid. The labyrinths were super frustrating and could often change the luck or fate of the play through.

Had this game on MegaDrive as a kid and NEVER EVER COMPLETED IT AAAAAAAAA.
The highest I got back then was early chapter 3, and it was only with emulator years even later I got somewhere in chapter 4.....Still not beat it ;/

I paid 60 quid for this game in 1993 (i think it was) i played this so much, and getting to finally beat every boss felt so good. And the first time you get the triple punch blew my mind 😂😂

@@SEGAMEGAMAN heck yea last battle is very hard to play normally but i use the game genie codes i created for this game to move super fast and be untouchable and all enemies and bosses die on screen i even enabled the blood in the American version that nobody knows you can have blood in the game they just disabled it so you couldn't see it
