I got the Lepin one in around 2017 or so, and it’s perfect for me. I really do wish lego would make some bigger modular again though, as in taller buildings using the entire 32 stud width instead of separating it into several smaller buildings as they’ve done a lot recently. I’d like to have a couple of bigger taller attention grabbers, like my Town Hall for example.
I have a majority of the Lego modulars and was late getting Green Grocer and Cafe Corner. I really wanted to get the first two sets but coundn't justify spending that much on these 2 sets. I ended up buying a knock-off for $70 each. Good enough for me.
The windows with blinds is the dead give away its a fake. At that time lego had not perfected windows that size and have a small imperfection in the middle.
a 3rd option is if you have lego at home, look through the pieces you have, and order the pieces you dont have, most of the pieces in this set are common and go for a few cents, while others are rare and are more expensive to buy, never buy a set like cafe corner or green grocer used or new
I get what you’re saying as this set being expensive and rare makes it more desirable for collectors but for those that don’t have £700-£1000 for it the best option is go aftermarket and they’re not as bad as people make them out to be. The quality of the bricks is very close to Lego and there’s loads of designs that Lego don’t produce. There’s even a store near me that just sells off brand brick sets and Amazon are supporting the sales of mouldking products. It’s only getting more and more popular. If collectors want to pay extortionate prices for retired sets that’s upto them but for the average lego enthusiast aftermarket might be the better option…
The price gone insane through the cloud this 10185 green grocery on eBay. Much appreciated for sharing ❤

What’s the quality of lepin like? Has there been any discolouration?

I think I'd be happy to buy this aftermarket set. Also I think I'd upgrade the interiors and fill them up with furniture and features.

It is worth it if you can get it for a reasonable price, which you cannot if it’s sealed, heh
For a small creator you have some good editing and some talent!
Thanks I’ve edited many videos in the past on other channels so I’ve got some experience! 😀
for lego collectors, after market crap is not even considered regardless of the cost of original Lego product.

You get 90% percent of the quality and 10% of the price. Thank god i'm not considered a "lego collector"
