Part 4 of the Ford T6 Ranger repair, more unexpected rust meant the fuel tank needed to be removed

    2 things, 1. You might want to get some rust converter/inhibitor before painting the frame and 2. While you have the fuel tank out and have easy access to changing the fuel pump. Great job so far keep up the good work.

      I've done the rust converter and its now painted, hopefully the video will be up shortly once I get time to edit it, tbh the pump is a good shout and I didn't think of that but as I write this its already back together (I'm on a time crunch and been flat out on it), the tank is a lot easier to drop than I thought so if its a problem in the future then ill do it then, thanks for the comments though

    what year is the Pickup? think shes had a hard life!

      its a 2012 model, ex welsh water so yeah its had a hard life

    Good progress Paul,having to remove the tank was a time stealer but at least you discovered another problem that you were able to resolve.Also probably a good idea to change the fuel pump as @danielriordan6387 said

      was a pain but like most things the thought of doing it was worse than it actually was and the benefits far outweigh the time penalty, not done the pump but shouldn't be to hard to do later as i now know how to remove it all
