I recently purchased a gallon of the stuff based on your recommendation but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for all your work Josh.
Both of my vehicles are ceramic coated and I finish every wash with some sort of cermic booster/topper. I decided to buy this tec582 after watching some of your other videos, I have to say it's probably the most impressive product I've used. This stuff really is the best. I sorta wish I was the only one with this product. I visited their booth at sema though and they acted like I was dumb for using it on interiors.
Do you mind sharing what surfaces you use it on in interiors? I assume plastics, leathers, and interior windows? Appreciate if you let me know if I'm missing anything, or wrong about my assumption
Do you use it on the steering wheel or is it too slick for that? I'm using chemX interior + detailer right now, it's very good at cleaning and the protection seems decent without stickiness or unwanted slickness, but it's more than twice the price of this stuff.
I've been getting into detailing my own car recently. I took my car to the dealership today for an oil change and they gave it back to me washed... I used to be happy they did that. Now...I went to the service advisor and asked all sorts of questions about how they wash cars... machine washed unless you request a handwash. My next question was how to opt out so I can wash my own car. 😀
I use the graphing one as well and it’s amazing, but the way to use it it’s way different then the this yellow one, and it only 10 bucks more but totally worth it just read the instructions 😊
I took your recommendation on this product not long ago and I have to say that it is absolutely amazing! Great stuff for the price point and multisurfacable
I just had a gallon delivered and used it as a topper on a Glassparency coating and the gloss is stunning! It does seem to attract a little more dust. Or maybe there is just more dust around here this week.
I was suggested by a good friend to try the GYEON Wet Coat, and it works extremely well and in the same way. Super easy to apply, and fantastic results. (I spray it on the car while wet and apply a couple of spritz's to a cloth for wipe down. REALLY slick finish!) The only downside is it's kinda expensive. When I run out, I'll give this product a try since it seems to be more in my price line... Try the GYEON stuff and see what you think.
I just picked up TOUCHLESS and can't wait to try it. You foam it on and spray it off supposed to last 1 to 3 months, I will be using it as a topper for maintenance washes. Finishing my garage and setting up the new pressure washer. Hopefully will be able to test it all out in the next week or two.
@@andriklira956 sorry not necessarily durability as much as longevity, it’s a detail spray and lasts a month or two. Which may work for some people, but if you want longer lasting protection this wouldn’t be the best choice.

I’ve been using it after every wash on my unprotected Porsche before I do correction and ceramic coat. Very impressed. Easy to apply. Incredibly slick. Protection seems decent. I will say I use a lot more spray then you do. Probably over doing it.
I personally have used this particular product and TC's Graphene spray. What I have noticed is the Graphene version does last a bit longer. I notice for example after lets say a month, you wash your car and suds it down with a foam cannon, the soap is pretty flat on the paint, but using the graphene version of this product the soap actually breaks apart on the surface. Its difficult to explain, but you can tell there is something keeping the soap from clinging to the paint vs the ceramic version. After several years of using both, I stopped using the graphene version even though I think it is more durable of a product but the smell of the product would make me cough and irritated my lungs where the ceramic detail spray version has a pleasant smell and doesn't bother me at all. Personally I do not think "Graphene" is what is making that version act the way that it does, It simply is just a stronger version of the Ceramic version. Graphene in products is a huge gimmick IMO.
@@4211michael I know what you mean with the streaking. When I apply it after wiping it off I go over it again with a dry towel. That helps with the streaking and brings out the shine even more.

The meguiars is super thick so it takes a little more time to spread and work out the streaking, but lasts a very long time and gives a great candy looking finish. I plan to wash, clay, de-iron, and probably skip polishing as there are only very minor swirls in the white pearl paint, then apply one of these products. I'm very overwhelmed by all of the info out there and not sure what direction to go.
I put some Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant on my car. I swear if you took a dump on my hood, it would slide right off on to your foot!!!! Best I've ever used but it's a little expensive.
I use xtreme solutions topper
do you prefer this over bead makee
Great vid. I just stumbled on Tech 582 not long ago and love it. What is the issue if you get it on the windows? What do you suggest for the windows?
No issue really, I just prefer to use water alone for the simple fact that it reduces any streaking.
@@imjoshv Thanks! What coating would you suggest for the windows? Love your channel so I subscribed. Enjoy the content and the straightforward approach.
I haven’t tried too many of them… I’ve used the Cerakote glass coating cause they sent it to me to test and it works really well. With any of them you have to remember that depending on your conditions and how often you use the wipers will effect how long it lasts. For me in Southern California we don’t get that much rain so it been a harder thing for me to test but since we are getting in to winter I’ll do a side by side video soon
Hey Josh , great Video .have to ask your opinion , just too delivery of brand new BMW , came from the dealer with the " First Place Finish " 9H ceramic coating , can I use the Techincians Choice as a detailer over the Ceramic Coat , and how would you compare that to a quality wax on top of the 9H ( of course to be applied regularly ) ..Thanks for your great videos
Hi very informative video but this ceramic spray is out of stock everywhere, do you recommend an alternative product to replace it thank you
Great video! If you’re going to apply it using the 300 gsm cloths at the end, then why are you spraying it on while the car is wet? Doesnt that just waste the product - applying it twice??
Color me stupid maybe, but does this elimate the need for polish/wax? Or do you apply polish over this?
Right on josh can it be used in direct sunlight on all surfaces thanks 😊
My car is ceramic coated, can I use this after every wash to maintain it? Thanks!
Have you ever tried Gyeon Wet Coat? If so, do you think this is better? I use Wet Coat and like it alot.
They say the biggest difference in the graphine sprays, is it helps avoid water spotting on the vehicles.
For the vehicles I put it on for the first time do I need to clay bar the vehicle before I put this spray on and how long do you think it lasts before I have to spray it on the vehicle again
