I now get why the competitive smash community turns off stage hazards and items This is the most brainrot comment thread from one of my comments I've seen in a while
After 6 years, I think we should accept Smash Ultimate as what its intention was, an unbalanced party game and just screw around with items and stage hazards on all the stages. Let loose once in a while and play the game how Sakurai had envisioned
@@mastercobragaming8780 yeah but in a competitive match, where all that matters is the player's skill, it'd be unfair if someone lost because of a casualty. Would you like being at the final round of the finals of a worldwide tournament and lose because something random happened? Wouldn't it be frustrating? Stage hazards exist for casual players who play with their friends for fun, not for competitive matches
The more skill you have, the better you can overcome for randomness. What you’ve described here is basically hero’s down special, Luigi’s misfire and peache’s down special. If you can’t account for that, it pretty much means you lack skill.
Maybe because some of us like fun matches instead of meta-based competitive bloodbaths. If you don't like it, go play Street Fighter or something instead.

@@mastercobragaming8780As a competitive player, I agree. Final Destination/Fox Only/No Items gets boring after a while 😂
@@mastercobragaming8780or you know... let the casuals that think like this play this way and the competitive players play how they want.

Ive never even seen a clock appear on that stage before
…Any possibility that if you compare Pictochat’s forms from Brawl to now, you might actually see it from back then or as a recent add on?
