Good test!!! Mazda has always designed different cars. Nos, with all the car brands manufacturing turbocharged engines, Mazda has a 2.5 natural aspirated that sounds and moves the car pretty well. Thanks for the test!!!!

Here in Australia, Mazda is the second best sellng brand. In USA, its sales are comparatively low. Such great cars. They deserve much more success in USA, and Europe, too.
@New York native They have a great reputation for reliability and durability here in Australia. They're tough for our conditions. The bonus is, that, whilst Mazdas offer the virtues of reliability and quality, they're great drivers cars, as well. Are you thinking about buying one where you are? Are you in the good ol' USA?
@New York native My opinion is simple - go for it. Drive, maintain, and enjoy. Oh, and, if you're in New York State, as you'd know very well, make sure to wash it frequently, especially when the roads are salted or brined. Great for de-icing, terrible for cars...
At 13:30, if you drive all way only 80 kmh /50 mph. It consume so less fuel that you can achieve very long range. But if faster like 140 kmh /87 mph then shorter. Its only flat highway fuel consumption. If city, consumption will higher and range dropped well
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK I understand that but that’s what I’m confused about. I have a 2021 Mazda 6 Carbon trim and my average fuel economy for the past week is about 20 mpg, and a full tank lasts about 300 miles only. Most of the time I drive at about 50 mph which is approx 80 km/hr. My fuel economy is worse Bc I do city driving as well (stop and go), however 71 mpg and 1165 mile range is absurd, there’s no car that I know of that can even get those kinds of stats, even the hybrid Toyota camrys only get 55 mpg average on highway. @@HisMajesty99 hm whats the exact spec at your car? Do you have AWD? And how is the road where you live? Lots curves, hills? Mountains? Many stops on crossroad? Try cruise on very flat highway at 50 mph 80 kmh and reset fuel consumption. Check your tire pressure?
@@TESTDRIVEFREAK yes I’m in the US. The Carbon edition here is the same as the grand touring reserve, FWD 2.5L Turbo engine. And yeah haha I knew I would get worse mileage with the turbo, but it’s nice to drive 😆. But on the Mazda website, it says the non-turbo version gets a combined gas mileage of 29 mpg (26 city/35 highway/29 combined). So even without turbo that’s still abt 30, I don’t see how any situation would allow the car to get 70+ mpg, even some of the better hybrid cars don’t get that kind of mileage here lol
