I had a huge crush on Chris when I first saw him as Jerry Dandridge. Sooooooo handsome and he still is! So great he’s got a lovely family and is happy. 🥰
Mr. Sarandon is a consumate actor, and a master storyteller... He can disappear into a character so seamlessly that all you see is the character... I love watching him do his thng.. Thank you for doing your thing Mr. Sarandon..
Chris Sarandon is a handsome man, aged gracefully, and his articulation at 80 is impressive. He is fortunate. Not to mention I really admire anyone who is able to maintain amiable friendships with their former spouses and with their former spouse's partners and children!!! Now that tells you how open-minded open-hearted and just how super COOL he is as a peaceful human being. Peace to all. :D
I had such a crush on him as a kid even though he was the villain in The Princess Bride. He still looks great and sounds like a nice, grounded guy too!
YA I still bang a few x girlfriends ! A few got fat but some still hot and when they break up I give a shoulder to cry on get them drunk in their pity state and say remember the time I oiled u up and did u in the those stockings and black women shoes and then pull them out from my backseat ! Hell ya brother never let a x sex partner fade away !
@shreknet. Yes, but there comes a time that parting ways is best. One doesn't have to be together with their ex every holiday, unless one has no family or something related.
TrU, wish I could stay friends with tha man imm about to divorce..but.its not in my personality.. Chris SaRandon was one of thee hottest in tha 80s. Fright Night -🤩
I did like the Original Fright NIght better than the Remake. I do thing the Vampire Villain played by what's his name- the WEll known Irish Actor whose name escapes me was much scarier as the Vampire Villain. I think the Remake wasn't as much fun, but I found it much scarier.
Check out Chris in a couple of his early films, “The Sentinel”, and “Dog Day Afternoon”. He was exceptional in both. It’s interesting to see and hear him in his youth. He should’ve been a bigger star than he was, although he’s had a satisfying career. Talented actor that really shines in some of his choice roles. I think it’d be really fun to meet and talk with him. Very interesting and intriguing person.
Fright Night is a classic and always will be! He’s the first vampire I remember where he was incredibly sexy and thought of as a beautiful man instead of ugly and scary creature of the night, till you got to know he actually was! Looking at him you wouldn’t suspect him being a creature of the night but he put a new spin on how we saw a vampire! Love ❤️ that movie and all the cast that was in it! I watch it every year!
It's interesting that Susan has kept the last name all these decades after their divorce. But it's not that uncommon. Joni Mitchell, Grace Slick, Suzanne Somers, Demi Moore and Ellen Burstyn all used their ex-married names as their professional names. When people hear the name "Sarandon" they think of Susan before Chris.
True! I only know there's a "Chris" because of The Princess Bride. I only saw it this last year, wasn't watching movies around those years in my life, at all.. So I looked up to see how they were related, and I'm seriously impressed with the kind of person, his character, as he seems to be unlike a lot of the "stars"... Good to see there are some real people, good people, that were able to remain that way in that environment. I'll look for more of his movies now, he seems to be honestly a good human being! Glory to God 👑 😇
He made fright night happen without Chris the movie was crap. Still scares me to this day amazing portrayal of a vampire living (dead) in the 80's. Remember this was every kid's fantasy that turned into his worst nightmare. It was slick, provocative, and had you gripping the edge of your seat!
I just listened to this on your podcast. I've been a fan since he was on ER but I have to admit that Fright Night is still my favorite role. His smooth delivery and wink at vampire movies was great fun. Now I want to watch it again.
An incredible actor, and comes across as a really genuine, decent guy who has matured and learned valuable lessons from life's inevitable bumps in the road. May we all strive for that wisdom. Sad he didn't want his marriage to Susan Sarandon to end. But having met her, I sense he had a lucky escape! She is charmless and tough as old boots - not half as nice a human as he is, I suspect!
Can't believe no one has commented on how much Chris looks like my favorite 80s musician, Richard Marx. Look at pictures when Chris was younger. They look like twins!
I agree that Chris Sarandon is still good looking. He ages well. No matter what! He will always be Jerry Dandrige from Fright Night. The neighborhood vampire.Seems like a very nice man. Heck of a actor. 🦇🧛
For someone as die hard feminist as Susan is I don't get why she decided to take Chris' second name.... sounds great of course but still. To me, he's a great guy and actor. I thought they were siblings.
Why?? They both had money at that time, and were up-and-coming actors. Now some men want to go on the dole because you're lucky enough to have a working wife. Don't be a baby, bro!
Chris Sarandon was an Adonis in “Tale of two cities” from 1980. He must’ve been around 37 at the time of the movie but he looked younger already then. And he is a fantastic actor not just a pretty one. Edit: I just saw a glimps of a tv movie from ‘85..(43 years old) he looks like in his late twenties 😅what’s the genes 🧬 with this man??
Sarandon was very underrated in otherwise bad Deathwish knock off Lipstick starring the Hemingway sisters. I liked the experimental music his character made that is meant to right away tip you off that he's a psycho perv creep, but I thought the music was very creative and interesting, made him more sympathetic than the Hemingways who get their revenge.
Fright night is one of those movies i can watch over and over and never get tired of it. Love fright night
Same here! Love the night club scene.
I do, the nightclub scean I must have watched at least 200 times ❤
Me too!❤
I can literally mouth the whole script when I'm watching it. And it just gets more and more nostalgic as time passes.
Agree. How about that terrible remake? why do they have change so many things? dumb.
I had a huge crush on Chris when I first saw him as Jerry Dandridge. Sooooooo handsome and he still is! So great he’s got a lovely family and is happy. 🥰

Wow! He looks and acts AMAZING!💕💕💕
Gorgeous!

Met him a few years back… incredibly warm, kind and appreciative of his fans. He’s exactly who you hope he is.
a very underrated actor
Still crushing on him since Princess Bride…and he’s 30 yrs older than me.
Ew all of you are disturbed. Old wrinkly balls, gross. Yet the world would flip if he was crushing on women your age.
This man was in the princess bride...that alone makes him an icon
Prince Humperdinck 🤴 🤴

I think Chris Sarandon still looks amazing at 80 years old
Good genes
I would!😂
Glad to hear he’s happy and doing well. Sometimes things just don’t work out. And that’s ok. We rebuild ourselves.
It's good to be strong, and friends.
This man is forever my vampire neighbor in FRIGHT NIGHT

Welcome to Fright Night... For Reallll
He was awesome in Fright Night !
Loved him in Fright Night. Sexiest vampire ever!!!❤❤❤

I never knew they were married!!!Sounds like he is an emotionally healthy person!
The last name of Susan should have been a hint.
@@shantebarze1068 Not really.Im pretty sure 2 people can have the same last name!
I just watched Chris Sarandon in 'Fright Night' a couple of weeks ago, and heck he is super sexy in this movie. Great 80s flick btw.
Fantastic movie! Great vampire 🧛🏼♂️
Best vampire ever!

Alpha vampires are supposed to look attractive and seductive. Bela Lugosi was first to do it by that standard
@@oneyedthingand don't forget beautiful Barnabas Collins ❤
I refuse to believe he's 80! Damn he looks amazing for his age!
Probably the sexiest vampire ever (sorry Robert Pattinson), and also one of the best looking 80 year olds ever, glad to see he's doing well.
I’ve had a crush on him since Fright Night! He’s still so handsome.
This gentleman is a class act.💙
Sometimes lessons have to be learnt before we can find our “happy place”, I’d say Chris has definitely found his😊
He seems like such a good guy and I have enjoyed his work so much.

Handsome at 80. He looks more like 60 or 65.

Just saw Chris in DDA, incredibly beautiful performance from an incredible beautiful man, then and now.

I hope Chris Sarandon lives for a long time. He's great! Greatest and Coolest Vampire ever!!! It's not even close!
Chris looks great for a man who just turned 80 . . .
I can't believe he's 80yrs old. I guess a little bit of Jerry from Fright Night off on him. He looks like he's in his mid-50s.
Chris Sarandon’s current wife is born in my hometown of Winnipeg Manitoba.
Wow..am from Winnipeg many years ago..go figure..nice to meet you..🇨🇦
Please, please have James Hong if you can. Love these proper conversations.
I wish I had more movies with him, he’s so iconic. Princess Bride, Nightmare Before Christmas, even his episode of Charmed.
80s crush. 😍😍💜💜💜💜💜
Anazing in Dog Day as well as Pacino!
I only know of him as Leon in Dog Day Afternoon. Good actor and looks amazing for his age.
"Lipstick"1976 he rocked
Okay Chris Surandon I didn’t even know you had a podcast. So I am in now. I like those healthy honest human conversations.🥰🇫🇷🇺🇸
The coolest vampire ever to walk this earth,
My ex wife of 25 years kept my name too. She won't give it back. She says it's the only decent thing I ever gave her. 🙂
You can tell her that the only decent thing she gave you was that hilarious anecdote.
I seriously hate to ‘top you’, however, my mother not only kept my dads last
Name the B rolled around LA with it on her license plates.
What a loon.
My aunt did the the same thing. She kept her first husband's surname due to financial reasons. Said it was too much money and paperwork to go through
The movie that really comes to mind for me that Chris Sarandon was in, was they very first "Child's Play" movie.
Just because 2people can't live together ,does not mean that they have to despise the ground each other walks on !
This guys is so cool. My favorite vampire.
Mine too❤❤❤❤
Loved him as prince Humperdinck in The Princess Bride.
I met him at a con in 2017. One of the nicest crowns I’ve met
Gorgeous as ever and one.of the best actors around!
He was my first crush when he played Dracula 🧛♂️
Such a great actor back in the day.
I've always thought he was the most handsome man I have ever seen. Still do!

I liked him in A Tale Of Two Cities.

Ex wife? I always thought they were siblings since Susan kept his last name
Ya, that's why I looked it up, was curious about how they were related, or if they were at all.. Pretty cool 😎
Fright Night is hands down my favorite vampire movie followed by The Lost Boys.
Fright night!! Best movie 🎉🎉
I had no idea he was Jack Skellington!
He was so hot in fright night!!!
What the Hell?!!!
I thought for decades that Chris and Susan Sarandon were siblings.
That's what someone I knew thought
This sounds so awful, but I never connected the two at all. And am heavily into pop culture
I thought they were siblings too!!!
I wouldn't have recognized Chris
Hot 80!
That is the vampire from frightnight !!!!! 😎😎🙄🙄
He still looks very good. Also sounds smart
Chris was the hottest vampire lol
