Thank you Chris Sarandon, It was a very casual cool & fun conversation /interview with Susan Sarandon We’ve got to understand her, Susan’s life, before you, with you and after you. All very humble, under a glimpse of humor & jokes. You made the whole course of her life like an audio documentary. Bravo & thank you for the entertainment 🇫🇷🇺🇸
Susan Sarandon is a thoughtful and caring lady who walks the walk for justice! Every role she plays on the screen is engrosing and always touches the heart!
Chris, I first saw you in Fright Night. Oh my God, you were so gorgeous! I loved you ever since. There are many other women I knew that felt the same when they saw you in Fright Night. Your still looking great!!
All these years I always thought they were brother & sister. I didn't understand why this conversation started the way it did. Now I understand....duh LOL
Well, that was fun! I truly enjoyed the sharing of memories and all the stories that went along with them. It was lovely seeing you both together. The care, admiration and love for each other was apparent. Thank you Susan for generously sharing your time and experiences. ☮️❤️🍽️
I was in same class in college with Susan at Catholic University and I remember Chris’s incredible acting, especially a performance at the National Catheral in Washington,D.C. Greetings!
Great interview and what a wonderful rapport between the two of you! In about 1988 at an Earth Day celebration in Chicago the Hare Krishnas were handing out plates of free vegetarian food along with free copies of 'Diet for a Small Planet" and that was when I became a vegetarian and have been one ever since! It was fun to hear you mention the book!
So far my very favorite episode of Cooking by heart on Utube👌 -but I can't lie I wanna know more about her brother that hooked up with the bridesmaid 😂😂😂🤩😍✌️
Very well done sir, found out stuff on both of you as actors, and your personal lives.very interesting. Enjoy,my first encounter with Susan as a young actress was seeing her in the film joe,and your performance in dog day afternoon, love your over the top performance in fright night, and I can go on and on.
OMG! This is like when your divorced parents both attend your graduation and you get that weird feeling because you're not used to your parents being in the same room. 😁❤ (Ironic, of course, since Chris and Susan didn't have kids together...)
Susan.. you are my top 3 favorites. Ive watched all your movies. Kept up with you over your acting career and i have to say your still absolutely beautiful! Love to you
Once upon a time, I went to the movies because like many young women at the time, I thought Kevin Costner was cute. I left with a new phrase in my vocabulary..."Oh my." I was bowled over by Susan Sarandon's completely beguiling performance as Annie Savoy in "Bull Durham"...I have seen many of her movies since but think of that movie as her "Scarlet O'Hara" role (and to this day do not get why that was not one of her Oscar nominated films, because I cannot think of anyone else playing that part). When it comes to cooking and Susan Sarandon the first thing that comes to mind is the relationship between middle-aged/ senior fans and the lady on camera which invariably is "What the heck, specifically, do you eat every day that you still have such a great figure? Alas, it is still a question after watching this. I knew she was a mom and cooked for her kids, but had no idea what, or that she considers herself to be a "hippee", although that does explain a few things. Somehow, I seem to remember that cooking fried chicken for the cast of Bull Durham was a thing. But the thing about Susan and cooking that I will always remember because it was so touching, was her cooking for the first responders after 9/11. Thanks for having such a lovely conversation on this podcast. I think I might use the word "wary" to describe her on late night talk shows (but I am an introvert, so I get it.). It's nice when exes seem so trusting with each other, Very sweet and apparently, we have Chris to think for giving this interesting lady such an anchor as a young woman. I appreciate that Susan uses her good heart to speak up for others...and the climate...thank you!
OMGOODNESS! Recipes for a small planet, yes! I lent it to someone and never got it back I have the savory custard , cheese, and beans in my brain. The best thing I learned in college was that recipe. 😂
Didn't she slap face of 11 yo Brooke Shields for a scene in pretty baby movie ? Brooke mentioned she slapped young Brooke for real in 9 takes and it hurt very bad.
They didn't have kids together. His second wife Lisa and he have 3 kids together and see each other all the time. Spends Thanksgiving together, etc. She and his current wife are friends. Very amicable.

She probably became famous when she had his last name. It would be hard to change it after that...
