The Nika fruit is kind of scary when Luffy (Joyboy) uses it.
Every time its animated he looks like hes lost all sense of self in exchange for having fun. The glowing eyes, hysterical laughing and destruction like he doesn't truly care about anything around him at times. Him laughing when Sentonmaru and Vegapunk both got gravely wounded.
Just a thought, he usually thinks about his surroundings when not in that form.

The revelations continue to drop, and I am guessing that we have another 2 to 3 chapters left in this "reveal" saga. This will start a new arms race for the weapons.
I think he hid Uranus on top of Zunesha and losing it was his crime. He walks looking for it forever.

Maybe Joy Boy created the weapons to save everyone and destroy the evil. We have Uranus that can possibly fly and save everyone in skypiea, we have pluton that can rescue everyone in the land and we have Poseidon that can control the beast and lift the Noah to the surface. Maybe his goal was to do everything but he was not able and had to leave everything to the next Joy Boy.

The ancient weapons causing the flooding could be that Joyboy didn't know how bad the flooding was going to be. This could be part of how he failed and then set things up for the future.
This could also reflect the fact that the scientists working on a certain weapon to end WWII were worried about what might happen when they use the weapon. There was a scene in the trailer for Oppenheimer (paraphrasing) where a military personnel was asking about "a non-zero chance of igniting the atmosphere" and the scientist said "What do you want?" with a responds "a zero chance".
I don't think he wasn't aware of how bad the flooding would be.
He had the Noah built, and Noah in Abrahamic religions was a guy who was told by God that the world would be flooded, so make a big boat to save enough to repopulate the planet afterwards.
As such, I suspect the Noah was specifically built to save humanity from the rising water levels brought about by Uranus, rather than the current in-universe theory of taking the fishmen to the surface.

I agree that the Lunarians were in possession of Uranus; probably since they were the strongest of the winged races (Shandorians and Skypieans). Also the ancient weapons are probably based off the Leviathan (Sea Kings), Behemoth (Zunesha), and Ziz (in Jewish lore; it resembles a griffin or the Iranian Roc, but could be a dragon with similar features). It is also said that the Behemoth is sleeping deep in the Earth, while the Leviathan is free, but imprisoned to the sea. There was also a myth that the Leviathan had a mate, but god killed it in fear of what their children would do. If I remember, the Ziz is only being to be still loyal to God and forever flies above the clouds. It rules over everything and none are its equal in the sky, except God.
This could elude to the alliance of the ancient weapons in the battle 800 years ago. I also agree that Imu is the Lunarian that controls the weapon, but he might have lost his wings in battle like a fallen angel. The seraphim are probably a key piece of information into what the Moon's civilization where Imu's people were originally from to how the ancient kingdom operated. Cause the story of Atlantis has many similar characteristics to what happened 800 years ago. Many kingdoms started with righteous kings, but grew corrupt and greedy and decided to rule the world. Many parts of the story were missing, but it basically states that Athens held its own and pushed them back and Poseidon sank the continent into the sea. Atlantis had the best weapons and materials, but its hubris led to its downfall. I do believe that Atlantis and the Battle of Heaven are probably contributing factors into what happened to the One Piece World, there is probably more to it that Oda is taking from.
I do agree that Imu was probably a friend or even best friend of Joyboy similiar to what Optimus Prime and Megatron were before they chose their factions. I believe that Lily was the cause of the rift on top of their differing opinions on the many issues of the world. The initial D might be the true name of Joyboy (his nickname like Luffy with Strawhat) and those who have the D initial are descendents of those who were loyal and fought for Joyboy 900 years ago. Maybe Lili refused Imu's world rule and took on the D initial and spread the poneglyphs before disappearing. Those with the initial who flaunt are those who were found out and have to wear it like the Scarlet Letter. So the world shames them, while those who have it hidden were never found out and can carry on his will to the world. Even though Lili was probably evil, she was probably Lilith to Imu's Adam while Joyboy was the devil (Samael/Satan) who wanted to bring free will or freedom to the world. Thus Imu was probably set to marry Lili, but she chose Joyboy secretly and helped him in the shadows while providing superficial support for her "husband."
I believe that God's Valley was the site of the final battle of Joyboy and the ancient alliance where the Celestials re-enact the final battle to celebrate the victory of their ancestors. Maybe Xebec learned of Joyboy's legacy there and why the World Government wiped it off the map in case the survivors come back to acquire it. This is probably the key piece for the formation of the Revolutionary Army and true form of the One Piece.

That is what we thought originally since it makes the most sense storywise. But this chapter reveals that a piece of motherflame was stolen to wipe lulusia, that begs the question if it is imu and world government that used it, why they stole the piece of it, they wouldnt need to do that.

I super disagree with this Theory. I honestly cant believe you think Joyboy was evil because he possessed the ancient weapons. I really think he was left in charge of them because of his stature. Who he represented. The 20 kings most likely didnt agree with leaving him in charge with all that power, ended up at war, won, and took the weapons from him. Lili, probably thought she made a grave mistake, left, and was assassinated. Im sure Joyboy intrusted the ancient weapons with his allies before he went to war, but unfortunately Uranus was found. Imu took the opportunity to flood the world when they killed Joyboy, to cover the truth.

Im so damn happy that the live action came out. One piece is now one of my favorites. I would've never got into it without the live action
Same, a fresh start was all i need to get into it, the first time i heard of one piece was in 2006 ish, at that time there were already a lot chapters which seemed huge for me more than 300 seemed too much, also the 4kids dub destroyed the anime for me, it made it seem stupid af, at that time i did not know much about translation issues, so it flew under my radar, in 2010 more or less it came back with the reveal of what happened to Ace, and since then it its been on the back of my mind, then i heard of Gear 4th and o said wow it looks odd but i like it, still did not managed to start the manga, the anime at thst time was never an option, i knew of the pacing issues, finaly last year when they announced both animated Gear 5th which confirmed my suspicion of luffy being a kind of deity (in gear 4th without knowing anithing about one piece i noticed the smoke beside him looked like a haguromo a silky scarf that is ussually depicted with gods or kamis in asian culture, when i saw it again in G5 it solidified it as the haguromo is no longer smokey and ethereal is mor cloudlike and solid, also his last name being Monkey connected him to Son Wukong for me) boy oh boy how the lanky rubber boy became a god? I needed to start reading it now, i looked at the manga chapter count, i inmediatly noped 😂, then a month later the LA was on Netflix, i did my research and they said they compressed 92 manga chapters or 42ish anime episodes in 8 2 hour episodes and i thought maybe the LA is bad as all anime LA adaptations, it gonna be funny to laugh at it for how bad it must be, boy oh boy, how was I Gomu gomu bazookaed in the guts. The LA was gorgeous, the costume and props were perfect, the story so beautifull. I finally understood, i needed to read the whole thing, how the rubber boy daring to stab himself in the eye to show Shanks he can be a pirate became a god. It read it all in 3 months. It has been an awesome journey, still not giving the anime a chance Toei pacing is horrid, but im watching the clips here and there and following along egghead

I mean we can assume, that there are a lot more people that don't know anything about what happens to or on islands next to theirs, let alone across the ocean.
Therefore we actually can assume, that IMU/WG used Uranus a lot more, obviously unbeknowst to the public.
There is even a point on how WG "used up" all of the "original motherflame" and "stumbled" across Vegapunk, who then created another version of the motherflame, as replacement and as fuel for uranus.
one more strange thing is, the way the elders said, "Lulusia never existed" kinda like as if it was not just destroyed, but also erased from people's memories kinda like how hobi hobi no mi worked, but since it was only mother flame it did not wipe out the memories as well, which could also explain why no one really knows or remembers the void century

I see it in a way more natural way or fashion. People just wouldn't believe you, that it existed. The best example would be Noland, who found Shandora. After he left, Shandora got beamed upwards never to be seen again.
I kinda have the same issue with most OP theories of this kind. Whats the funny part? Remember that Roger laughed. Everyone laughed. That is 100% important. No matter how well put togheter the theories are, they all kinda leave this detail behind
My thoughts & opinions of the chapter:
1. With Crocodile watching Vegapunk's message, as well learning why the Roger Pirates did what he did, I now wonder if Buggy will become his guide into helping him find the Pluton! Who knows, this could be a perfect way for both sides of Cross Guild to get what they want!
2. It's no surprise that sometime in the next chapter, York & the Elders will try to destroy the Iron Giant in an effort to end Vegapunk's message for good. But regardless on how the broadcast ends, do you think that what Vegapunk said until now will be what inspires the world to rebel against the Government, and/or at least save themselves from another massive flood?
3. If Rayleigh & Shakky were at Sabody, then it is possible that the Boa sisters & Gloriosa are tagging along with Hancock in her journey to find & "marry" Luffy, which could become an unexpected set up for the next Arc, regardless on where the SH & their allies will go after Egghead! If so, then this could be a great opportunity for some Hancock related theories to be confirmed one way or another!
4. If Vegapunk is able to take his share of the blame for what happened to Lulusia, then it might be possible for him to make amends with the Kuja Tribe who were harmed by the Seraphim. Whether or not the citizens of Amazon Lily will be able to forgive him.

It is not fully confirmed that xebec was evil, even though that it most likely the case. We have to remember that he attacked celestial dragons at god valley and they are definitely not good, also they were using s laves for their hunting games at god valley so its not so clear cut that he is entirely evil, also whitebeard was in his crew and he is depicted mostly as a pretty good character. But yea that scene with roger seemed to be disproving the joyboy evil story.

Maybe there was obito/rin/kakashi scenario where Lily died and Imu blamed Joy Boy. Sadness could then explain many things like flooding the world,betraying joy boy for revenge(if they were crew mates). And if it was great love that made Imu keep that painting it must have most important thing to him.
I could imagine that Uranus has a beam launching through space. Maybe its even a Satellite, as the Beam came directly on Imus wish with no need for uranus to travel over Lulucia. And i could imagine for Enel to see the big beam launching from space as he now decides to come down to earth or to get Uranus
It could also be that Joy Boy lost Uranus at the end of the void century and Imu used it to end the war at that time and thus also causing the flood.

The theory that the Final Poneglyph on Vira makes more sense now since the Revolutionary army took over it by overthrowing the previous rulers and Sabo a revolutionary army, who is also marked by flames (The flame scar on his left eye) and he has the Mera Mera No Mi (the fire fire fruit)
I'd still like to think that the egg on Rogers ship during Edd War is the dragon that helps control Uranus, maybe Cesar Clown was trying to clone that but Buckingham Stussy was the cloning expert.

I'm thinking, that Joyboy was painted as the villain when he was the hero. Which was probably the original idea everyone had anyway. But he took those ancient weapons from the government, and used them while fighting them but in due time realizes what he done was the wrong way. He hides them, along with the texts that mentions the void century etc and hopes that the future someone finds them to fight back at the government correctly?
But what is the thing that the Rodger pirates were laughing at is still up in the air?

My theory is that Imu is the only king of old left and that the elders were recruited later.
Imu was a "hero" but decided that something like what Joyboy did can't ever happen again. As time passes his methods become ever more extreme because humans don't like to be controlled and will always attempt to change the status quo.
I love the theories coming out this days about what happened in the void century. However, what really boggles my mind is how ODA will make this a funny story. We know it has to be or at least some of it (most likely Joyboy's perspective/intention) has to be funny do to the reaction of the Roger Pirates. ODA is just messing with us and can't wait to have my mind blown when we finally get the reveal.
The first thought after reading this chapter was the thought of roger pirates laughing at mass murder
A theory is that you need the body of Uranus to control the weapon, however using that power drains the life force of the user. The body may now be immortal from the operation but it doesn't give it perennial youth thus vulnerable to decay. (Hence why Imu may cover themselves)
Imu has used the power many times and can't anymore so now relies on the Motherflame, an external power source.
I feel like with everything that happened this chapter, a lot of people overlooked Momonosukes reaction and was about to say something important as well but Kinemon hurried up and hushed him.

i think what is happening currently in Egghead is a distraction. The 5 elders are currently busy finding the dendenmushi, leaving Imu behind. Someone will go there to fight her either the revolutionary or some other group we do not know yet.
If you're right about the Ancient Weapons each being comprised of 3 parts, then here's a thought nugget to chew on. The creature(s) Imu controls isn't a dragon, it's the 5 Elders. Remember, they weren't introduced as users of Devil Fruits, they were introduced as the creature they had taken the forms of. They take orders from Imu just like Zunesha takes orders from Momo or the Sea Kings and Shirahoshi.
It may not be that Joy Boy had them all along, so much as hiding them. Remember that the So Called Ancient Weapons have been theorized to be tools first and weapons second.

At first, the Fish Men's Island is ten thousand meters below sea level and we know that, during the Void Century, sea levels only risen 200 meters. Imho Imu is *not* the orricial person to control Uranus - which is why they need the mother's flame - to undergo the "natural" way to activate the weapon
I'm in the boat that we're seeing this whole story of One Piece from the side of a pirate. We're seeing this from the views of "bad guys" and so the marines seem evil. Therefor Joyboy being the first pirate, is the first devil wanting to take over the world.
Anyone figure Joyboy wanted to save the ancient weapons because they were his crewmates? Joyboy was reincarnated. Poseidon is a mermaid princess that was reincarnated from 800 years ago. Momonosuke as 800-year-old-Toki's first born inherited Pluton. And Imu is just as immortal as Uranos, King of the Titans. Also, just maybe, Luffy is one of Joyboy's D.-sendants
By your theory, if joyboy was able to use Uranus, that makes joyboy a lunarian too. But what if instead of lunarians, that anyone who has inherited the Will of D can use Uranus. Making Imu a D, and also leaves the option for the weapon to be used by other D members such as Blackbeard or luffy

Theory: The ancient weapons consist of 3 parts.
1. The actual weapon
2. An animal / creature for transportation of weapon
3. The person who commands the animal.
In the case of Posiedon - Shirahoshi is the person and she commands sea kings to pull Noah.
In the case of Pluton : Momonosuke is commanding Zunesha to Pull Pluton
And in the case of Uranus : Vivi will command a dragon to pull Uranus, and as we know Imu has already used the Uranus this means she has the Dragon which was hatched from the Giant egg found on the Roger's Ship or as we know the Government was experimenting to create dragons on punk hazard. Now here's the thing ... I think Lily was able to command Dragons and that's why IMU swapped his soul with Lily and performed perpetual youth surgery on Lily's body with the help of Op Op no mi to command Dragons. Now as Vivi is born with the same power Lily's power to control the dragon is getting weaker and that's why IMU said that he desires Vivi, so he can swap the body again.

- Also, to piggy-back on what you said about Imu controlling Uranus because he is a Lunarian, another possible reason he wiped out his race was to prevent another reincarnation of Sun God Nika, Joyboy or just an unbeatable warrior.
- But going back to Gear 5 Luffy, I actually don’t think that’s the final Gear of his devil fruit or his ‘peak’. I genuinely believe Luffy will unleash a Gear 6 where he can command the ancient weapons/the robot. However, this will be at the cost of his personality❗where Sun God Nika will possess Luffy’s body‼️ I remember some character saying this about awakened devil fruits ( can’t remember who; maybe Kaido). But remember during Gear 5 Luffy vs. Kaido, Luffy still had control of his body and actions/wasn't possessed by Nika. AND IF THAT’S Case, it's likely that the war during the Void Century was between the 20 kingdoms and Sun God Nika ☀️, and not Joyboy. Hence why the 5 Elders, have been hunting down the fruit. They have some beef with Nika.
PS. The trigger for these ancient weapons could be something related to the Will of D or Sun God Nika and his drums of liberations/heartbeat (considering Zunesha was the only being who heard Luffy’s heartbeat)

Lilly had to be careful though, she couldn’t risk alabasta, so she was double agent for Joy Boy. The D-Clan, not willing to risk the lives of innocents any further, had part ways and Joy Boy tried to stop the world Government alone, but failed, not noticing, his power revolve around others. His failure was to respect the rules and laws of societies, just aiming for individual freedom. The official known World Government, has taken over since then and aimed for more a peaceful, but controlled world, after the Celestial Dragons were enslaving races and held a dominion over “lesser“ people.

Imu is Lili. Lili can use Uran, that's how Uran was used on Lulusia. Vivi inherited this ability, that's why Imu (Lili) wants Vivi dead. A nice way to bring Vivi back to the story, because right now she looks pretty weak for Mugiwaras

Unlikely. The entirety of chapter 1085 is based around Imu trying to force Cobra to reveal the name that Nefertari Lili signed on the letter she wrote.
Cobra reveals that it was signed “Nefertari D. Lili”, which provokes a reaction from Imu.
It makes no sense for Imu to be Lili in that chapter. Why would Lili demand to know what SHE HERSELF signed on a letter that SHE HERSELF wrote? Why would she react to the idea that she was a D-Clan member, when she literally signed her name as Nefertari D Lili?

Since we know Lily Nefertiti is a “D”, do you think it’s possible that Uranus should have been passed down through the Nefertari family? They are the family that didn’t join the celestial dragons so maybe joyboy trusted them enough to pass down Uranus but Imu captured Lily (or maybe took over her body with Op Op no me or something we haven’t seen yet) and took over Uranus? Would make sense why he wants Vivi so bad, she could possibly be able to control Uranus
My guess is nika was a king and the last of his race who ruled over the ancient kingdom. During his rule, he created (using his sun God powers) the original mother flame and the kingdom used that as an infinite power source to become super advanced. He gets old and is about to die but he dosnt have any kids so they use there advanced technology to create the gomu gomu no mi the first devil fruit using nikas soul and the fruit is passed on to the next ruler of the ancient kingdom.
Joy boys turn comes up but he is an adventures mo fo, so he bucks all responsibility and becomes the first pirate, travels around diff kingdoms saving the people from corrupt rulers and meets friends and establishes the first pirate crew. The 20 kingdoms he visited band together and start a war with the ancient kingdom and because they have way more people they start beating the ancient kingdom so they create devil fruits on the original design of gomu gomu no mi but use elements like light and fire and animals and object instead of a soul to create the fruits and fight the 20 kingdoms. During the war relised that the sea levels were rising at an alarming rate so and relised that the only way to stabilise the water level would be to destroy the red line so they created the 3 ancient weapons, poseidon to control the sea beasts to take the fishmen from the bottom of the grand line to the surface so they won't be crushed, pluton was created to help the people of wano at sea war because the Japanese don't make good boats for ocean travel and maybe to relocate them becuase there island would flood and the last one Uranus to destroy the red line itself (because those holes it makes could be red line sized in terms of depth). Joy boy gets betrayed by someone he trusts (probs the yami yami fuit original user) they steal Uranus which is powered by the nika mother flame so they are using it to kill some allies of joy boy then he has to "end his own career" to save his friends, the ancient kingdom fall's due to not knowing where the gomu gomu no mi is and not having the mother flame and the 20 kingdoms create the world gov and continue flooding the sea to fight devil fruit users and to stop the gomu gomu no mi from comming back.. the giant straw hat is a mislead, joy boy turned giant forgot his hat somewhere and it stayed giant because the nika nika fruits power is to bring what ever he imagines into reality, like boas fruit the effects will stay even if he dies but the mother flame won't becuase it's more of a representation of that raw power
Seems more like the results of war, and people thinking Luffy and Joyboy are pure-hearted heroes when they are just free souls doing as they please.
The reason Vegapunk doesn't know who was right or wrong is probably because the thematic here is extreme freedom vs extreme control aka freedom vs safety aka Joyboy vs "World government".
I am pretty sure now that the ancient kingdom is a huge asteroid size spaceship that landed on earth to then increase the waterlevels tremendously...well just think about oda drawing the 200 times the weapon uranus being used is just not as impressive as compared to it being an highly advanced alien civilization that just landed on earth.

What if " One Piece " is huge part of the land that will not be flooded. After the big war ends and dust get settled, some big part of the land will survive , big enough to get all the survivors from other islands. There Luffy can make big party for everyone as he dream about.

huh.. there is a very good chance that Vivi can control Uranus. or Pluton. It would explain why Imu is so focused on her right now, if she was the only other person capable of controling it right now. the ponoglyph about the ainchient weapon in Alabasta would forshadow it, while being a slight misdirect. but if Alabasta was supposed to control Uranus to counter Pluton, haveing the locaityon of where pluton was would make sense. Imu makeing Vivi's ancesstor disapear would make sense, as would the theory he body swapped with her (gaing control of Uranus). A lot of slight cluses start snapping into place.

Just a piece of my mind, joyboy was said born in a very advanced and large kingdom (aka ancient kingdom), kingdom has to have a ruler. The biggest D family we know remains left in a story is Monkey D. And Marshall D. so far. What if the Marshall D. is the king or ruler of the said kingdom? They wanna take over the world for the resources (let’s say the kingdom was not originated from the earth), but Joyboy just wanna stop them and steal (pilage) the ancient weapons to save people who he befriended from all over the world

I doubt that will happen, but in japanese culture a grin with teeth like luffy does throughout the series is used as symbolism of evil. I doubt it was that all along but its something to think about. Also Oda used the allegory of god with enel and what it entails before, well joyboy is a god so there is always a possibility of him being evil, he also laughs maniacally all the time, and have red eyes etc in anime so it might not be far fatched. If Joyboy or Lily were the true villains of the story, wouldn't it make more sense for the World Government to actively portray them as villains in their history books, rather than actively try to cover up the Void Century as a whole? Every dictatorship tries to justify itself by dissing the old system. The World Government wants the world to believe Joyboy never even existed, rather than demonize him.
Vegapunk himself said the point of this reveal is not to portray either side as good or bad, but to provide information. I personally believe Joyboy HAD good intentions. He wanted the free the nations of the world from tyrannical rulers, and bring equality between all races. But something went horribly wrong, and he had to use the Ancient Weapons, to the point of causing a massive flood. It also sounds like the Allied Kingdoms had legitimate reasons to try to stop Joyboy, but they too must have done something terrible to that end that their descendant don't want their subjects to know about, not to mention the atrocities the World Government continues to commit to this day.
I believe that the ancient kingdom was feared and Imu used one the ancient weapons to ally everyone against. Them you can see the world in panic that these weapons exist and when Lilly found out about Imus deception she betrayed him and he killed her it.

What if Dragon has the final road poneglyph? He probably has a hidden flame tattoo and he can also create whirlpools. Also, I don't think Imu is the person who controls Uranus but probably a Lunarian slave? That could be why the celestial dragons hunt them so there won't be anyone trying to take control of it.

Just because Lilith was the mother of demons doesn't mean she was evil. The reason she got kicked out of paradise was because she refused to be subserviant to Adam as God wanted her to be. In the One Piece scenario, Lili would be Lilith, Imu would be Adam or perhaps even God and Joyboy would be Lucifer. But, while Christianity likes to paint Lucifer as the bad guy he really is not that bad all that often. Lucifer was cast into hell because through the tree of knowledge he gave humanity freedom of will. And God's murder count hits Lucifer's/Satan's out of the park. GOD drowned almost all of humanity in a massive flood like Imu seems to do/have done. I think Joyboy represents the rebellious side of Lucifer who has taken a liking to humans while Imu represents all that's wrong with God. His supperiority complex, need for adoration and worship as well as cruelty toward Lili(th) despite her only asking autonomy
