We use this kind of sev to make raita salad. And it's yummy. It's mostly made in Pakistan in Northern cities. We boil water and turn the stove off and dip sev in it till it softens up. We also make sev shorba which isn't thick at all but made of more liquidy soup. That's super yummy with homemade roti or tandoori roti.
@@FoodandFrolic Thanks and both are very delicious. But we don't call it sev, we call it bondi, besin ki tangari, or Pakoriyan. Also add potatoes in sev salan and make it as spicy as you can handle. Bondi salan is a version of what is made in this short but we dip sev in hot water first and then add it to soup. So it doesn't soak up the soup of the dish. And it's more runny and liquidy and not super thick.
