- I've made a few videos about the brilliant Airstep Controller from XSonic already. Now they made it even easier and released special (and cheaper) versions of the Airstep LITE that work directly with your SPARK, THRII, Katana AIR and WAZA Air... so when you practice with those little practical amps, you can switch channels and effects wirelessly!

Got the YT version for the THR and I love it. Does what it says on the tin. Band practice moved up a notch.

I was just looking at that yamaha practice amp and saying how I wish there was some type of foot switch you could use to switch to each channe so this is very cool thanks for the great video!

Thank you for using mic in the room setup. It gives you a much better idea of how it sounds much better than direct or a mic flush against the grill.
I have the regular Airstep. Bought it to use it with the Spark amp. Works really well so far. But I also like the concept of combining it with the Lite one, to RC the pedal board in a live situation. You can leave the expensive stuff in the dry backline area and have only the cheap Airstep lite exposed to rain and beer :)

I ordered the full Airstep so I could also use it for computer plugins, but I'm having a blast using it with my THRII30W for a full wireless setup.

Just got my Airstep for Spark yesterday. I also got both the Boss Katana Artist and 50 (Limited Edition white) for a stereo setup. But I am STILL trying to figure out how to update the firmware on the 2 Boss amps and the Boss Tone Studio software for Macs, which apparently may not even run right on the last 2 versions of the MacOS. So yes, Boss get your shit together on the software side! Love their products for many years.

What a lovely awesome footswitch! All the same, I think I'll have to add something to my future purchases: | True, I still do not know where it will be appropriate, in my future home studio or when playing music outside the home

you should have mentioned that this device is also working with NEURAL DSP plugins (and some other software too) :) it is really amazing gear. If you dont want to have more cables, and you want to switch sounds while playing it is REALLY good idea to buy this. I love that we have such possibilities :)
the regular Airstep can do that, but not the Special Edition

I have a Yamaha THR30 and will get Boss Waza Air for christmas :-) Can you confirm that the Xsonic Airstep Lite Controller will work on both device (not at same time of course ) ??? I mean you have the lite Airstep Lite Controller version in your video and it has worked with the 3 devices (just have to configure it) ? Thank you for your help
it should, but you should contact XSonic to be really sure.
Does any body knows if this works with the Waza Air Bass?. If not is there any option for the Waza air similar to this one?
Do you know if the Airstep is compatible with the Boss EV-1-WL Wireless Expression Pedal being used wirelessly at the same time with the Waza Air Headphones?

My take on it is: save some bucks more, buy a Yamaha THR Mk.2. believe me. I've got both the Spark and a Yamaha, and the Spark is no match.

Weird question but if you use the THRII (or any wireless amp) and the Waza Air as headphones can you actually have a true wireless setup? 🤔

Ja, ich freue mich schon noch.... es gibt immer wieder das besondere Instrument zu dem man eine Bindung hat... andere hat man dann nur zum Review da (wie diese Ibanez) und die bewertet man dann eben. Ich habe einige Lieblingsgitarren... kommt auf den Stil an... PRS Modern Eagle II, Schecter NJ PT, Panucci 59, Tonfuchs Elcaster...

Updating the WAZA airs to use with the Airstep is totally unnecessary. To use with the ev-1 yes.

Also this is a similar idea to what I sent you about my desktop midi controller that has knobs and "foot" switches to make it feel and seem like you're adjusting the amps and pedal vst's properly as opposed to using a mouse or keyboard or some other midi controller that has pads or keys or "synth" things that are just in the way.
