    we want to see you get more excited over Bad Religion, not less. I for one, am loving seeing someone fall in love with my favorite band. I've loved this band since I was 16, and I'm about to turn 41. Against the Grain all day

    Every album in order would be awesome! My favourite band of all time.

    outstanding work fellas. i would continue in order because, and yes start from their earliest, the band truly does take you on a ride of growth and complexity. Each album also pertaining to the year(s) each was released tackling current events and current social ills. regardless, i'll keep watching Bad Religion or not i enjoy your channel. Good Eve men.

    Bois, just do it right - Do every album in order. Done. No Control is one of the best punk albums of all time (Yes, 'Against the Grain' is awesome). If you enjoyed Suffer, you should enjoy No Control. To skip over No Control like it doesn't even exist is INSANE. Don't skip ANY of their albums. If you want to experience the 40 year Bad Religion journey, then you should not skip ANY of their albums, no matter what anyone tells you. This is coming from someone who is 44 years old and been a hardcore BR fan (seen them live about 30 times) since I discovered their music back in 1992. If you want to get through No Control faster, you could react to two or three songs in one video because so many of the songs are short.

    Love it guys. Suffer, No Control, and Against the Grain really is the holy trinity that inspired so much. I wouldn't mind if you did some random songs in between and heard them again as you went through the albums. You don't need to go back. Suffer is when they hit their stride. Though popping in an older song once in a while makes sense. I also wouldn't mind if you jumped around with albums either. I agree with others on Against The Grain. That is a landmark album that really informs you on where their music is going. But you should eventually do all their albums. Even though these three albums are the trinity, they have tons of great albums and I wouldn't be surprised if some of your favorites are later ones.

    Don't know why I haven't thought of this sooner, but you should react to the band Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. They're a punk rock covers supergroup made up of Spike fromoo Swingin' Utter, Fat Mike from NOFX, Chris from Foo Fighters, Joey from Lagwagon and Dave from No Use for a Name. Each album they record has some kind of theme - and their one called "... Love Their Country" and is all covers of classic country and western songs.
    I reckon that'll tick a few boxes for you guys!

    please do against the grain next. it is the next step progression wise, no control is very similar, but Against the Grain is the next step talent wise. if you really want to fall in love with Bad Religion, listen to this album next. Starting from the beginning may turn you off of them, as it's definitely a step backward in quality. fall in love with them, so you can then appreciate their flaws.

      100% agree with this. Against the Grain kills it.

      Suffer and no control are fantastic, but I agree Against the Grain is their best work.

      Agree but disagree. I do agree...don't go back. Before Suffer, they were a decent punk rock band, but they sounded very similar to other punk bands of the time. They changed the game and really became Bad Religion with Suffer. But, No Control is so sonically different than Suffer (more complex song writing which led to Against the Grain). Overall, it's not quite as great as Suffer or Against the Grain, but I'm with Joel here, move forward with the progression....and agree with you, don't go back.

      @@timmmaaaay yes there for sure are differences, and I do love No Control. I'm just ready to show them off a little. And Against the Grain is where they really fluff their feathers lol. 🦚

    Against the Grain is by far my favorite punk album of all time, so of course I'm going to suggest that.
    I'm weird though, in that when I think of "Bad Religion Holy Trinity" I shift it forward one, so instead of 'Suffer-No Control-Against the Grain,' my trinity is 'No Control-Against the Grain-Generator'

    Listen, I requested several songs. I won't mind at all if you just go to an album and get to them eventually through albums.
    I say album order.

    Definitely go from the beginning but maybe skip the album Into the Unknown

    • @gpro22
      @gpro22 2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Definitely have to do at least one song from Into the Unknown just because it’s so different. Some of the songs are catchy, they just sound nothing like bad religion, except for Greg’s voice. Try Billy gnosis.

    • @timmmaaaay
      @timmmaaaay 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@gpro22 agree. Into the Unknown is actually a really good album...just not what you think of when you think "Bad Religion".

    • @timmmaaaay
      @timmmaaaay 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I just went back and listened to Into the Unknown for the first time in quite some time. Honestly if presented differently, it really fits perfectly into their later releases. The overall song structure of later albums is really there with "Billy Gnosis", "Time & Disregard", "Million Days", and "Losing Generation". They would fit perfectly into any later album if performed in the known and loved Bad Religion style.
