    thanks bro my e90 (335i) is having the same issues. i got the coils in the mail coming mon and also doing the spark plugs and vanos solenoids i am praying i fix my issue thanks mate

      @@l.a3991yes partially I had a misfire which this solved it but the “engine malfunction light” was caused by a boost leak near the waste gates due to heat took it to my local Indy bc I didn’t have a smoke tester they fixed it within a day and found the issue
      Fairly quickly with a Lift and a smoke tester

    I scanned for the same fault code it Said exhaust gas temp sensor. I fixed it cleared the code and no codes were found but I still get the fault?

    Hey I have 2796, 2B57, 2B48, 2B3B currently. Happened yesterday & today. Cleared the codes & it didn’t come back until cold start the following morning. Cars been running amazing until the colder weather came to Miami. Not sure if the weather has an impact. Says increased emissions

    I got this code today on my 2008 535i when i accelerated aggressively. I replaced all but one ignition coils the day before (i didn't have time to replace cyl 6) i drove slowly home pulled out my code reader and all that was there was "02 sensor slow response bank 1 sensor 2" I also replaced bank 1 sensor 1 a couple of days ago. Sorry for the long message but do you have any ideas what the issue could be?

      With the new 02 sensor fitted at bank one sensor one, it could be highlighting bank one sensor 2 is worn and with the fitting of the new 02 sensor, the computer has pick up a disparity between the two. Check the plug/wiring first, and the new 5 coil fitment before replacing that 02 sensor relating to the code

    Hello, I have the exact same code with the M6 - 2009. I did switch the coils 9 - 10 and still received the P0310 code. I think the next step is the spark plug, can I only change the 10th plug or should I change all. Both videos are great

      Swapping spark plugs 10-9 will let you know if its a bad plug. If it is, it better practice to replace all 10 plugs, if one is bad the others won’t be too far away. When the plugs start to get worn, it causes the coils to fail too

      Thanks for the quick reply. I put a new plug in #10 and now I have several codes (see profile pic). Either I did something wrong or the code reader gave me an insufficient info the first time.
      I am going to take it all apart to see if something is not connected correctly

      I am going to switch the Ionic control modules to see if that changes the codes to the left bank (1-5)

      I am fairly confident that's what it is, I switched them and now I get misfire in #5

      Good diag, the ionic module swap is what I would have done next 👍 You can sometimes find good used ones cheap online

    Hello, I have a 2012 BMW X6 with a 3.5i bi-turbo engine. I have a problem when I turn on the car, it works fine, after I start the 6th piston loses power and after that the car goes into emergency mode. My car often shakes and when it goes into emergency mode, the car turns on the fan while the temperature and water level of the car is in order. I have taken it everywhere to the service center where I am and everyone tells me it is an electrical problem or there is a broken sensor, but no one has found it as a problem. Can you give me any suggestions as to what it could be or someone who may have had this problem with their car?

      No real set mileage to be honest. Sometimes worn out spark plugs can cause the coils to prematurely fail

    Awesome work , I have a problem with my 06 m6 , car has a very bad misfire on all 10 cylinders, put new fuel pump and fuel filter , car still has the same problem , I cracked open the old filter and found it very clogged up with slug or mud , any idea what the fault could be ?

      If your filter was that bad, it’s likely the injectors could be compromised

    I have same problems on mine e93 2008 I changed two coil and I cleaned Vanos solenoids but still have misfired and also engine fault can you please help with mate

      Could be any number of contributing factors, you’ll need to read the fault codes and go from there

    Hi, i am french sorry for my english.., i have 2006 m5 e60 and i have 2713 code (air sensor 2) but the sensor is new left and right , engine light on and rev at 7200
    Please do you have solution ??

      If your oxy sensors have just been replaced, check that the connectors to pre-cat oxy sensors bank 1 & 2 are plugged in to the correct sensors, they are the same connector and if swapped will cause issues

    Hey my s85 feels like it drastically starts to lose power in 3rd gear and when it hits top of 4th gear like around 8k rpm and around 130mph it goes into reduced power. What you think?! Fuel related, motor not getting fuel?!

      It sounds like classic S85 fuel pump issue, the fuel pump is two stage and made up of two pumps, low & high pressure. If the secondary pump starts to fail the car will run weak/rough at high RPM’s and go into reduced power. Don’t rule out fuel pressure sensor either though

      @@MTechGuy What about bad injectors?! The car has very rough idle and shakes so much whenever im at red lights I feel my whole body shaking, not only that but when I open the door the window shakes from it too, and thank you for the reply! Thinking about doing fuel pump and injectors, I just got $12k worth or work done so im not too happy, I told the shop I only wanted the reduced power gone and got the car back and still have it, however they said bring it back, what im gonna do is get it in reduced power near the shop and drop it off still in reduced power so they can re read codes, im afraid to even turn the car off when I get there, whenever that happens and it gets in reduced power, I just restart the car and it goes away, it drives fine when just cruising around, no reduced power, but literally same time every time, whenever I do a 60-130 pull it always starts drastically losing power at like 110 and always goes into reduced power at around 120/130mph, and always at high rpm when im about to upshift!!

      @@jameswiththeM6 If it’s been in reduced power there will be fault codes stored, so doesn’t really matter if it goes to a garage while the earning is up. Take it to me that has the correct diagnostic tool to read the codes and fault trace

    I got this after accelerating (no check engine light and just engine malfunction warning) way too hard in manual mode went back home turned of the car and turned it back on and the code hasnt come back since (ive pushed it to try)

      Might be worth scanning for any background fault codes. May have just been poor quality/contaminated fuel

    This guy really knows his v10! Great videos! I have a 09 m6 38k. I am having countless problems with the car! Car been sitting for 10 months n now I can't get it to start. I Just got a brandnew battery n registered it..car cranks but won't start.. HELP!! 10 months ago car starts most of the time. Also didn't start n throws all kinds of codes. To get it started, I unplug battery, ibs wire or let it sit for 10 20 mins n it would start right up. HELP! I also wanna know about your scanner tool uve used. Is it a Creator C310 plus? Im buying 1 just like yours n try to see what's going on with the car.

      Creator C310 is not a bad scan tool, can read live data with it too. Sounds like you’re off to a good start with a new battery registered to the car. Used to start MOST of the time- could be a failing fuel pump, but could be any number of issues. Read the codes and check the data, go from there. Good luck!

      Just throwing it out there! The Creator C310 scanner cannot do a software update.. the C310 plus can.

    I have the same problem but it's diesel engine (E90 D , 177Hp, 2009)...The engine stop working and on my screen appears "Engine Fault, Reduced power ".... I tried to start again the engine but not start. After 5min i tried again and works fine. Now error display on bord, nothing.....If you have any idea what can it be....it will be helpful.

      Get the car scanned for fault codes and go from there. If the car has been in reduced power mode, there should be fault codes stored associated with the fault

      I had same error today immediately I stopped car and started again . The error gone ! I think such error occurs just because we give full race suddenly. Pls always ensure to drive moderately

      The 4.0d doesn’t have ignition coils. I can be any number of probable causes, start by scanning for fault codes and go from there

    my car seemed ok. we changed the coolant reservoir then the electrical started to go haywire. noticed in the trunk that it was filled with water. the micro power module is tried. so we took that off. now the engine sounds like crap. and now its in linp mode. what to i do? how do i get it off of limp mode

      Scan for codes to find out what’s triggered the limp mode, then diagnose it from there

      It could be any number of issues, it needs to be scanned with a dedicated BMW scan toon (not a generic one)

      Could be any number of things causing it, I would start by reading the fault codes and go from there

      Yes, but the 525i doesn’t have some of the parts I mentioned when diagnosing this (e.g. Ionic modules etc) Same principle regarding the ignition coils though, but keep in mind there are many possible causes for the engine fault warning. Scan for codes and go from there.

      If your car is coming up with this error there’s something not right. scan for codes to be sure

      I have had this failure several times - always either cyl 5 or 6 in my 530i...The rear two and its the heat the ruins the coils. Note the coils have metal heat shield...not effective. Other than the window regulators, one of the best cars ever owned. I have almost 250k on that car - even added factory GPS-maps to it.
      My newest is a G30 2018 M550i xdrive. a little under 500 hp is plenty for me and all the options from seats that cool, heat, vib AND dynamic cruise...stops for my 'stop and go' driving and the lane change corrector are great. ITS NOT A TSLA so dont expect AI and fine driving control. Condition of the road lines I found to be critical...but I love it all.So Fathima, dear if you are comfortable moving the coil (wires)...remove the coils from any other cylinder and put it in the bad one...a 10mm socket and about 15 min and you will know. I bought an extra cuz i hate getting stuck (in the 530, not the m550). The coils are cheap so good luck. uGeeks

    I have a 2005 E60 M5 with reduced power but it's still revs to 7200 RPM

      Mine reduced to around 4800 RPM with the bad coil

    I isolated mine and found out it was one of the coils, I found the isolation procedure at youcanic.
