I taught myself to drop the 12 foot metal outdoor vert ramp here at South Park, Allegheny County, PA. Check it: Practice rolling back n fourth for a little while. Then when your on the wall riding fakie, start gradually lifting the front wheels off the ramp. Almost like a fakie tail stall but on the transition. Gradually progress that untill you touch your tail on the vert wall. This will train your brain for the action of lowering your front wheels I to vert. Eventually youll make it near the coping... Then ya just do it. That is one of the single most difficult things i could push myself to do and it was the most satisfying feeling i have ever earned. Now im pretty much the only person who drops into that vert ranp, atleast whenever im at the park.
