- Wow, I cannot believe my prior video was basically silent! Silly me only watched the first 5 minutes to see if it was good and then only when it was uploaded did a comment bring to my attention the deafening silence... So, here is a more informative video as my voice can actually be heard! I hope this allowed some semblance of insight into my experience as a disabled individual. I hope to continue making informative content such as this to allow others not disabled to know what the experience is truly like. For more information, I will be linking some articles down below. Autumn, thank you for your honesty about being disabled. Your candor remarks enlightened me. I know that I will not fully understand what you are going through, but your “can-do” and “will-do” attitude has really touched me. You are in my thoughts and prayers dear girl. Nobody asks or wishes to have health issues. My brother is mentally ill so i know the mental side to a certain degree of being disabled. Going thru everything you go thru on a daily basis i could on imagine. I hope as time goes by more treatment/relief can be found for you because nobody should have to go thru what you do. Keep your head up beautiful and dont let any shallow arrogant people bring you down. Youre amazing and none of this is your fault.

I just finished watching. I so admire you and your courage( yes courage) your an amazing person and trust me when I say you have a great heart. The adage of take two aspirin and call me in the morning is so true with doctors. Most are devoid of compassion. I don’t want to babble to much. I respect you I marvel at your courage I appreciate you and I know this may sound odd but I am proud of you( dealing with all you do). You’re a class act. May tomorrow bring you some peace however you deem necessary. Take care.

I have EDS and can relate to so much of what you said! I hope you find other zebras as having friend with the same condition as you can be so good! Just being able to call a friend and she asked ‘are you ok?’ And being able to say no, it’s fab!!
I actually have a best friend with the condition and yes, it is amazing, being able to talk to someone who really does get it ❤️

I have EDS and have decided to completely ignore my diagnosis and the limitations it used to cause me. I manifested my new reality and my life is totally different now. I’m a single mother of 8 kids and completely in love with my life now. I threw away my neck brace. I refuse to acknowledge my pain. I refuse to stay home anymore. I refuse to use my chair it cane. I go to the gym. I am a photographer and painter. I have flipped a house twice now by myself while homeschooling my kids. We can create our own reality. Meditation and a new belief system gave me my life back. ❤
I'm glad that worked out for you. Sadly with the severity of my condition I can not manifest out of using my mobility aides or ignore my pain. Make sure you're taking care of you.
And u r very beautiful and gorgeous...and people cannot take eyes of u...So don't worry about what people r thinking when they are looking at u.

i am 50 years old and have been disabledsince i was 16 due to a drunk driver so yeah it sucks ass.

I'm disabled and mentally ill due to the fact that I was in a bad car accident at the age of 13 I never work a single day of my and I never played any kind of sports on that day I was rushed to the hospital for a cat-scan and found the right side had a blood clot the size of a silver dollar I started having seizures and I was in a temporary coma for a month I thank God each day that I am still no they diagnosed me with in anxiety depression OCD but at the end of the day I thank God for everything that I have done here on for the last forty three years always God is good 👍

Thank you for posting this and for sharing what you have. I really do admire your determination to keep up the fight and no give up. Whilst I don’t have physical disabilities like you do I have learning disabilities including being neurodiverse, I agree with a lot of what you said in terms of struggles. Whilst I don’t necessarily have all of your struggles I do agree with you that because we are different society doesn’t always accept us for who we are. I know I have experienced that.
One thing I wanted to ask was how easy do you find it to make and keep friends?
For me I struggle with making friends and when I do they don’t last since I feel like people don’t understand me and give up trying to. Also congratulations on your engagement I know it’s probably old news now. Anyway sorry for the long comment.
I have an incredibly difficult time making and keeping friends and have since childhood so I am not necessarily the best person to ask XD I'm glad you found comfort in the video
