I don't even see how this effects Purdy negatively, win or lose. Dude was the last pick and people had no expectations of him, this year was no exception. Coming into the season everybody was saying he was going to regress because opposing defenses would figure him out. All the dude has done is exceed expectations one after the other. If the 49ers win everyone is going to say it was because of their skill positions and defense, they won't give the man his flowers. So why would we criticize him for losing if we won't even praise him if they win?
To me, Mahomes is obviously under more pressure. He's not trying to leave a team legacy he's trying to catch up, and eventually surpass, Tom Brady. Imagine if he falls one or two rings short of Brady- all we're going to bring up is the fact he lost to Mr. Irrelevant and how it stained his legacy. Just like how Brady losing to Nick Foles hurt his legacy alittle bit.

I think it should be 10 years with sustained success (playoffs, conference titles ultimately gate keeper to the SB) with super bowl wins and appearances during that time. Other than that, 2 or 3 in a short amount of time is a good run. They got names for that, back2back, three-peat.

A dynasty is different for each of the 4 major sports but the MINIMUM is 3 with a core group of guys. In NHL, it's a 3-peat (although most would say the 10's Hawks are a dynasty, Go Hawks!) and in the other sports it's generally who also dominated the decade.
In the NFL since the creation of a playoffs (a.k.a. a championship game) in 1933 there's been 9 dynasties with the parenthesis being the number of years with said core players:
1. 1940's Bears (1939-1946) going 4-1 in NFL Championships
2. 1950's Browns (1946-1957) going 3-3 in NFL Championships and 4-0 in the AAFC from 1946-1949
3. 1950's Lions (1952-1957) going 3-1 in NFL Championships
4. 1960's Packers (1960-1967) going 5-1 in NFL Championships including 2-0 in SBs
* Doesn't count but for the AFL the Chiefs won 3 AFL Championships in 8 years and went 1-1 in SBs *
5. 1970's Steelers (1972-1979) went 4-0 in SBs
6. 1980's 49ers (1981-1990 although they had a sorta split between 81-84 core and 87-90 core players with 5 constants) went 4-0 in SBs
* Gibbs' Redskins (1982-1991) went 3-1 in SBs (although they had different starting QBs) *
7. 1990's Cowboys (1991-1996) went 3-0 in SBs
8. 2000's Pats (2001-2008) went 3-1 in SBs
9. 2010's Pats (2010-2018) went 3-2 in SBs
Currently these Chiefs (2018 and on) have gone 2-1 in SBs. they are easily on pace to become the team of the 2020's and the next dynasty.
There have been many "near" dynasties such as Unitas' Colts, 70s Cowboys, 70s-early 80s Raiders, 70s Vikings, 80s Broncos, 90s Bills, 90s Broncos, (90s Packers and 49ers could've if they went to more SBs), 2010s Seahawks, (likewise 2010s Packers if they went to more SBs), 2000s Steelers.

Brock Purdy is in a lot of pressure, not just because of the narratives too. He does have a better team around him and he has more to work with but that shouldn’t be much pressure for him. He’s in his 2nd year, first one as a full time starter for an entire year. The team may lose a couple pieces but they’ll have chances to run this back.
What puts pressure on him is what he can gain if he wins this ring. If he plays good, not even great, and they win this game, the hate is gonna stop. He could potentially win a Super Bowl MVP, the greatest honor in the history of the sport, and he secure the bag that way. They’re gonna extend his rookie deal but he’s gonna get a massive deal. He’s gonna get more money than guys like Dak and Herbert just by proving he can get the job done with a great team around him. He’s gonna get more money than he can imagine. He’s also going to get ridiculous amount of sponsorship opportunities.

Any sport, if you win 3 championships within a 5 season window, and with only one year of losing in between wins, then you're a dynasty. Recently, Lakers '00,'01,'02 , GSW '15,'17,'18 , LA Galaxy '11,'12,'14 , Patriots '02,'04,'05 + '15,'17,'19. I agree with Swagu that if the Chiefs don't win this year, they're starting the dynasty over.
I'll take it even further and say that even if the Chiefs do win this year, it's not a definitive dynasty, but only an arguable dynasty at best because of the gap between '20 & '23, and the fact they didn't make a superbowl appereance in '22. The only exception for a dynasty in my book is if you made it to all championship games in a 5 year window, and won 3.
If the Chiefs win this year, it's still 3/5 years, and yes they made it to the superbowl in '21, but I don't think superbowl appearances make you a dynasty, winning does.

No one cares about a conference-dynasty. Superbowls are what matter. Making it to 6 afc championships indicates potential to win perennial superbowls, but if you don't ACTUALLY WIN the superbowl then who cares? 2/4 superbowl wins isn't a dynasty, it's a good run.
