Romo isn't wrong, and if he were the qb for any other team, then he wouldn't be getting the shade thrown his way like he has. With some tweaks and a hot streak, the Cowboys can win it. But do I think it'll happen? They'd have to win in spite of the GM, coach, and qb in place. Also, I highly believe that if Romo had the teams that Dak has had recently, then he would be a world champ and possibly a sb mvp. If you watch his highlights, they're of him making plays while he was running for his life. Eventually, those behemoths caught him, and the injuries mounted up, and we lost our best chances at eternal glory when we lost Romo. But that is the game they play.
He blew out in the 2007 season against the giants in the divisional round. If he makes that Super Bowl and loses to the patriots then he’d have a better legacy.

SAS out of line, you can’t compare romo to dak. The teams romo carried on his back had historically bad defenses. Outside of TO and Myles Austin and Cole Beasley you can’t name a good receiver group. The one season they had lights out offense and defense they went 12-3 and lost to the giants who then went on to beat a 17-0 patriots team in the superbowl. On the other hand, dak has had not one but 3 no.1 receivers, a top 3 defense and a t5 o line and can’t get the job done
In 2020 dak had a historically bad defense. And before then it was bad to average. Hee only had a good defense since 2021.

They got rid of one of the problems, Dan Quinn.
Dallas has won 12 games the last 3 seasons, that shows consistency. However Dak has shown he crumbles in big games. Dallas clearly needs a younger group of RB’s . As Games get bigger and closer you have to run the ball. Lastly the lose of MLB VanDer Ech was huge. They didn’t have a legit replacement for him. So are they close? Sure. Next draft needs: MLB, RB, OT, DT

Swagu is usually spot on, but he's dead wrong. A team that consistently makes the playoffs and wins 12 games is close. IF Dallas had more interior lineman and "real" LBs, they could stop the run. That run defense was the biggest flaw of the team; not Dak. Dak doesnt play defense.
